I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Chinese restaurant in Redlands, and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. They were attentive, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure I had everything I needed. They happily answered all my questions, provided insightful recommendations, and even accommodated my dietary preferences without any hesitation. Now, lets talk about the food. The menu offered an extensive array of traditional Chinese dishes, all bursting with flavors that transported me to the bustling streets of China. Each dish was meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. One particular dish that stole the show was the Kung Pao Chicken. The tender chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, slightly spicy sauce that brought an exquisite balance of flavors. The dish was garnished with crunchy peanuts and scallions, adding a delightful texture and enhancing the overall experience. It was truly a masterpiece. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and cozy. The decor had subtle Chinese influences, creating a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the meal. The cleanliness and attention to detail in maintaining the restaurants appearance were also commendable.I must say, this Chinese restaurant in Redlands stands out among the rest, not only for its amazing food but also for its exceptional customer service. It is evident that they prioritize their customers satisfaction, and it certainly made a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an extraordinary Chinese dining experience.

The best Chinese restaurant in Redlands! This place does not put MSG on their food. All are made to order. This place has limited seating. Staff are friendly all though could be misunderstood as being impolite at times. Food is always delicious.

Friendly staff, portions are good. Chow mein wasnt burn, and my Kung Pao was actually spicy. I even asked for a refill and she was very accommodating. We customers are aware that times are changing, now besides customers and drive thru there are online orders, this is a good problem to have but not one to make your customers pay for.It took 10 minutes standing there to even get acknowledged and place an order. It shouldnt be a customer problem because one is on the clock, the owners and management should make sure to staff better or change their system. All orders are still getting picked from the same place, which causes delays and food to run out. You need to change with the times and set up another food set up so that all orders can be fulfill in a timely manner. Also, please be a little more generous with your meat servings, my broccoli and beef should just be broccoli, only two pieces of beef present. Panda is already more expensive than other chinese restaurants, so please dont hold back.

Buffet Star

I love this buffet so much. I live an hour and 20 minutes away but I make the trip because they have such a great selection and the food is always fresh and kept clean. They have sushi and a giant wok where you can get your noodles and various meats and veggies stir fried right in front of you. Its usually kept pretty clean and its a very big place so you dont have to sit right next to somebody if you want to observe social distancing. If they run out of an item and you ask about it they will replace it quickly which is very nice when its a busy time of day and theyre running out of food. Also if its close to the end of the lunch time and theyre getting ready to transition to dinner and theyre out of a particular item you can ask for it and theyll make it for you. For example they have this really lovely steamed white fish that I absolutely love its the reason I drive there. They only serve it at lunch time so there was a time when I arrived at the very end of the lunch hour and they were out of it and they werent going to replace the tray because they were transitioning to the dinner menu. When I asked the staff person about the fish he asked me how much did I want and so I told him thats my favorite thing and the reason I come there and 7 minutes later he walked out with a plate with three giant pieces of fish on it. I thought that was so over the top for customer service at a buffet. I send everybody I know there and I have been going there now since before covid so at least 3 years and I will continue to go and when my family visits from out of state we drive all the way down there to go have dinner or lunch. I will say though if youre a seafood person you definitely want to go for dinner because thats when they put out all of the different types of shellfish. If you have children that dont care for Chinese food or dont care for fish or shellfish take them during the lunch hour because they do have pizza and little fried chicken wings and some teriyaki chicken on a stick that even picky children would like.

Let me start by saying. I am a cancer patient. I walked into this establishment at 1:00 on Monday THE BUSNESS WAS EMPTY!! Idesperately needed a restroomI i just had treatmentI asked the owner and his wife If I could please use the restroomI I explained to them that I was sick and I urgently needed it .He told me no is for customers only.I had no choiceI had to use his restroom so I used it I had no choice. When I returned from the bathroom I tried to apologize I told him again that I was sick With cancer His comment to me was I dont care!!These people are not human they have no compassion To try to turn away a sick person With a bathroom emergency Is just hartless and wrong if I was them I would be very ashamed of myself People like this do not deserve to serve the public. Sometimes rules need to be broken.i will never go there agen and I will tell the world about the restrunt with no hart.SHAME ON YOU!!!

Small Chinese restaurant. Similar to what Panda Express does with a twist on offerings. No corporate overlords running the show. I had the orange chicken and the pineapple chicken. Very tasty. Portions are generous.

Its been a while since Ive been to a place that left me disappointed. We stopped here on a whim, since its the location of the old BBQ place. First concern was nobody was there during dinner time, it was just us. And thats how it stayed during the entire visit. The place itself was a bit of a head scratcher, as if it couldnt figure out what it wanted to be/represent as a restaurant. The decor was uniform gold/black like something from a 70s restaurant. The food was all over the place for selection (Chinese, Japanese, and some other stuff we couldnt figure out). The Mrs had told me to not trust a sushi place with no outward facing bar. I should have listened.I have to agree with the previous mentions of 1 star for sushi as I looked at it and had to wonder if it was 3d printed or something of lower quality, as it didnt look right. I say this for the salmon nigiri as the rest of what I ordered was a combo set of rolls and they were covered with stuff. The texture/quality of the sushi I ordered could have been bought at Stater Bros or other grocery store and gotten same/better quality sushi for about the same price. The remainder of the food was also lacking and was bland (Kung Pao, pork fried rice, pork dumplings). The service was strange too as we never really saw our host until we went to the counter needing more drinks, etc. Speaking of drinks, none of them had ice, this being water and tea we ordered. After going back again to the counter to pay, they dropped off the payment kiosk/pda, we paid, and pretty much stepped on out.I hate to give these kinds of reviews, but given all the 5 star ratings I see posted here, I cant help but question those raters levels of quality and what they consider 5 star.

loving hut
345 W Pearl Ave #100, Redlands, CA 92374, United States
This is probably my new favorite restaurant. The food surpassed my expectations. The service was on point. The variety is tops.My fiance and I wanted to try someplace new. We are vegetarians and were just bored with our main spots, even though we love them. Googled some options and this bad mamma jamma popped up. We looked at the menu, and said, why not? Let me tell yall..... there are NO regrets. We tried the po boi, jalapeno burger, v-bacon cheez fries, and spicy bbq wings. I also got a philly cheez steak for my best friend. Everything was delicious. Hands down, this is gonna be my new favorite spot. I wish I could better express the joy this food brought me within this comment, but I feel like words are not enough. Plus, the prices are fair. Definitely one of the more affordable vegan restaurants I have experienced.Listen, if you are vegan or just enjoy vegan food, please check this place out. Specifically the redlands location. Its worth it. ?
