Peking Garden Restaurant

Dont waste your money. The server never came back to give us a refill on water or napkins because shes busy texting on her phone. Restaurant wasnt even busy and shes slacking off on the job like a teenager. Keep an eye on their prices because they will CHANGE it. The receipt was written in Chinese so I can only argue so much before I have to bite the bullet and pay what I didnt agree to ordering. Then they charge you 10 dollar tip for serving two people... Terrible service dont come here people who say the food here is great are LYING its the same food youll find at any Chinese restaurant except the workers are lazy and dishonest thieves.

Your friendly neighborhood Chinese restaurant. A cute little no frills local restaurant that does the job. Honestly, I was expecting bigger portions but it is what it is. Everything was satisfying but unremarkable. If youre in a pinch and want some quick take out Chinese food then maybe this will do the job but its definitely nothing to go out of your way forFood: 5/10Service: 5/10Vibes: 3/10Value: 4/10

This may be an authentic Chinese restaurant (owners are Asian), but the food is EXTREMELY bad. I took my Chinese parents here and they hated it. The service was also rude because they literally stare you down while you eat, felt like they wanted us to hurry up and leave. Another negative was that we were one of the only tables eating there, since most people order take out. With most authentic Chinese restaurants, you will find a flock of Asian aunties and uncles chit chatting. I have been here to try the baked rice and that is okay, but if you are looking to try the stir fry items, it is WAYYYYY too salty. My family and I chugged so much water with every bite. To wash down the salt, we probably each drank 10 cups of hot tea. If you are looking to find real and good Chinese food that isnt too salty, please look elsewhere. Too much salt is NOT good for your cardiovascular health. Chinese cuisine is typically very umami-rich and low in salt.

Pepper lunch is supposedly Japanese, but seeing kimchi and soju on the menu made me think this was a Korean place. That’s okay, as long as the food is good, I don’t care what kind of place it is. Met up with a friend here to catch up and try something new. I am not familiar with San Lorenzo, but this part of town seems okay. A plaza with plenty of parking so I was relieved that I didn’t have to look for street parking. When I got to the restaurant, I was even more confused. It’s selling milk tea. Then I heard the server speaking in Mandarin. Okay, maybe this place is owned by Chinese. Oh well, perhaps this place has an identity crisis. Lol.I ordered curry beef rice with cheese. It came out sizzling and I had to quickly cook and move the beef slices before they were overcooked. I throughly enjoyed the beef slices. I wish they added more cheese so that the plate was more gooey. Perhaps I was spoiled and ruined by Daeho’s gooey and cheesy Kalbijim, but I digress. This place did a decent job of making pepper lunch dishes. I would go back and maybe next time I would even order their milk tea.

I called and ordered several items as showed in one of my pictures. I still needed to wait when I got there, as other people were waiting in the small restaurant. It also has very limited street parking spaces. To-Go dim sum were relatively cheap and taste okay compared to other Chinese restaurants nearby. The restaurant needs to be more organized (e.g. division of labor, who is working on which order), so that customers can get their orders faster (20 minutes are too long).
Lees Laundromat

“A Gem in Hayward: Lee Laundromat Excels in Service and Convenience”Nestled across from Chase Bank, next to the Chinese food restaurant, Lee Laundromat in Hayward is more than just a laundry spot—it’s a community hub. Overall, the experience here is exceptional. The decision to go cashless with a card payment system adds a modern touch, making transactions smooth and hassle-free. However, it’s essential to note that funds loaded onto the card are location-specific. I found it convenient to use the card at multiple locations, but remember, the money stays with the initial purchase location. What truly sets Lee Laundromat apart is its outstanding customer service. Workers consistently roam, ensuring a spotless and efficient environment. Their commitment to cleanliness and efficiency is evident, enhancing the overall experience. In summary, Lee Laundromat in Hayward offers a fantastic blend of convenience, community, and cleanliness. Despite the card system limitation, it’s an excellent choice for your laundry needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this laundromat to anyone seeking top-notch service in the area.

A little bit of everything. friendly service. good selection of various asian and filipino foods and ingredients at good prices, but also an aisle for the standard white american, and and aisle for hispanic foods. entire wall of different types of noodles. one aisle just rice, teas, hot chocolate and coffee. i get chicory coffee from new orleans here.fresh fruit and vegetables. their seasonal produce, espec fruit is often local, so inexpensive and ripe. also things like durian and jackfruit in season.some frozen foods, and a fish market. i have not shopped either of these areas, so cant really comment.
