Orient Restaurant
1760 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
Just. Eat. Here! Please! There is a reason these folks have been around for 30 years. Picture this: 2 lunch meals with soup (hot and made fresh for you), entrees made to order. Rice topped with crispy wonton. And hot tea and ice water for 2. Total bill: $15.88..... So. Basically, with the tip its $20 for lunch for two. Not just any old lunch. Infused flavor and layered texture. The best thing Ive ever put in my mouth is their kung pao chicken. You like extra heat? Ask for the secret sauce. Vegetarian? They can make anything on their menu vegetarian friendly. Enjoy custom heat levels? I like extra spicy and they nail it. Flavor and heat... unbeatable. You just cant go wrong with this place. Its Pho-king Amazing.... did I forget to mention their Pho? This is chinese food meets Vietnamese food... with an extra kick. And the best part? You wont be hungry an hour later. This is our little gem... give the servers a break if you can. Youre getting the best deal in town. Like my fortune cookie said: with patience comes good foodNow.Go eat some Kung Pao!!!Pho king Now!

Jims in Seaside is my favorite Chinese restaurant, I have never been disappointed by any dish I have ordered. I love the Vegetable soup with noodles, especially on a cold night.

Juicy Crab Cajun Seafood & Chinese Food
1784 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
They were understaffed yet took in almost all who walked through the door. We had 6 in our party but we called in advance to let them know we were coming. Apparently lady on phone was confident they could serve us. Totally difft story once we sat down. Badically took over an hour to get our food. A dish here n there each 15 to 20 min but just not enough for 4 hungry kids n 2 parents each time a dish came. Warning, Do not expect the calamari to look like pic on menu (see actual). It was over cooked and barely had any flavor. I ordered the king crab combo with mild spice level and be warned: it was hot as hell! I asked server and was told order was correct. Without complaining much more, this place obviously ignored our orders so they could take care of smaller parties after us. When we finally got bulk of food, place was nearly empty. Food quality was meh at best. They took so long we cancelled beef chow fun. When bill came they tried to say sorry by giving us the beef chow fun to go. Good gesture but no way. Ruined our special family meal together. They need to get their act together to live up to their star level. At this time, 1 star is fair.

Ive been going here for a long time, and its got almost everything for Korean / Japanese food recipes. Even stuff for Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese recipes. They even have Sun noodle ramen. However, sometimes, their customer service is lacking. The one lady I used to see always is great. But, now, Im seeing more other Korean ajimas, and theyre kinda mean and not so nice.
Noodle Bar
1944 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
We found this place on Google reviews and gave it a try. My wife had the seafood soup and I had the special, pork chop. We were very pleased with the food quality, quantity (the fried rice could be better- I ordered it with the pork chop. The dish comes with a bowl of consomme which was comfortingly delicious) and the price was reasonable. We had to wait as the dinning area is very small, but the tasty food made the wait worthwhile. We live in Monterey and the only Vietnamese restaurant close to us is Chop Sticks which it is not as good as this one when it comes to ingredient content, i.e. more pork, shrimp, etc. All in all, great value for your money. I guess well be driving to Seaside more often. I forgot, I also had the mango boba and it was delicious. They take cash only. I had to drive to Wells Fargo as their ATM did not work. Still, worth the wait and drive.
Ichi-Riki Japanese Restaurant
1603 Del Monte Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
Ichi Riki is now under new ownership. The young man from the Chrystal Fish restaurant is now the new owner. The Sushi is good and customer service was attentive and friendly. I have been coming to Ichi Riki for over 40 years now. The new owner is adjusting well and the food quality is still good and flavourful.I hope Ichi Riki will last many more years because its definitely a place that holds many memories and just a nice place for AUTHENTIC JAPANESE CUISINE and not some Korean owned business or Chinese or Mexican trying to make Sushi.
Korea House- Orient Express Restaurant
1884 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
Second time I've been here both received poor service and food that is not from a typical authentic Korean restaurant. Ordered Bulkogi with Ssam and the Ssam included iceberg lettuce which is not what real Korean dishes include. I explained to the owner that all othe Korean restaurants don't serve iceberg lettuce it should contain red leaf lettuce. He told me I was wrong lol I'm Korean and been to thousands of Korean restaurants and not one of them served iceberg lettuce. They also didn't give us jalapeño, fresh garlic, and dweng jong. I had to ask for this as well. A couple months later I went in to order just a cup of Kimchi and was given a table spoon full of Kimchi in a small clear container and was charged 5.49. I explained to them they usually give me a cup and not a small side dish container. They told me it was going to be 20 dollars I said fine. They charged me 16.39 more so I gave hem 16.40 and the lady shut the cash register without giving me my penny lol. They came back with the cup of Kimchi that was not filled to the top. They absolutely lost me as a customer. I live in Monterey and this is the closest restaurant to me but now will make the drive to Marina where they have REAL AUTHENTIC KOREAN RESTAURANTS and the service is excellent!
