Kaoru Sushi
3288 Pierce St # A107, Richmond, CA 94804, United States
Tee had the worst service ever. The female hostess was extremely rude to us. She did not check vaccinations cards and snatched our menus. After ordering at 7pm, she told us that they ran out of sushi. Yes…she said that this Japanese restaurant RAN OUT OF SUSHI!! As she told us this, we watched another server take 3 rolls to another table. We were only 1 of 4 parties present. We paid for our drinks and left. I am not sure what the motive was, but I will say that we were the only black family there. All other tables had sushi… I am very frustrated!

MexiHibachi
12726 San Pablo Ave, Richmond, CA 94805, United States
This place offers incredible shrimp, steak, and chicken hibachi noodles with vegetables. I ordered the shrimp noodle hibachi, and it was absolutely amazing. However, I must warn you to place your order an hour in advance. I had to wait over an hour for my order, with the chef repeatedly telling me it would be ready in 15 minutes. To avoid the wait, I recommend ordering online or by phone at least 45 minutes ahead and then picking it up. Additionally, the place has side walk parking and it's a bit hard to find, I believe next to a tattoo place. Other than that, I don't think they have dine-in, if they do, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'd give it a 5 star for food but 4 stars for the wait.

Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park
1414 Harbour Way S #3000, Richmond, CA 94804, United States
The Ford Richmond Plant, formally the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant, in Richmond, California, was the largest assembly plant to be built on the West Coast and its conversion to wartime production during World War II aided the United States war effort. The plant is part of the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It currently houses the National Park Service visitor center, several private businesses and the Craneway Pavilion, an event venue.Built in 1930 during the Great Depression, the assembly plant measures nearly 500,000 square feet (46,450 m2). The factory was a major stimulant to the local and regional economy and was an important development in Richmonds inner harbor and port plan.To ensure that America prepared for total war by mobilizing all the industrial might of the United States, President Franklin D. Roosevelt banned the production of civilian automobiles during World War II. The Richmond Ford Assembly Plant switched to assembling jeeps and to putting the finishing touches on tanks, half-tracked armored personnel carriers, armored cars and other military vehicles destined for the Pacific Theater. By July 1942, military combat vehicles began flowing into the Richmond Ford plant to get final processing before being transported out the deep-water channel to the war zones. The Richmond Tank Depot (only one of three tank depots in the country) as the Ford plant was then called, helped keep American fighting men supplied with up-to-the-minute improvements in their battle equipment. Approximately 49,000 jeeps were assembled and 91,000 other military vehicles were processed here. After the war, the devastation to the local economy as a result of the closing of the Richmond Shipyards would have been crippling had it not been for the continued production of the Ford Plant. The last Ford was assembled in February 1953, with the plant being closed in 1956 and production transferred to the San Jose Assembly Plant because of the inability to accommodate increased productivity demands. In 1989, the Loma Prieta earthquake severely damaged the plant. After the earthquake, the City of Richmond repaired and prepared the Ford Assembly building for rehabilitation. In April, 2020, Contra Costa County officials announced that the Craneway Pavilion would be converted into a 250-bed hospital for COVID-19 patients who do not require an intensive care unit level of care.

Special Noodle
3288 Pierce St C136, Richmond, CA 94804, United States
I noticed this place was packed when I passed by a few weeks ago so I had to see what it was! What I found was an awesome restaurant serving really good food!My friend and I ordered multiple dumplings and two entrées. The first thing we ate was called Snow Flake Pan Fried Dumplings. We had it with shrimp, egg, and chives. It was a pretty standard dumpling but it also had a crispy texture to to it to mix things up. The dumpling was filled up and moist, didnt disappoint! Next were the traditional Xiao Long Baos. These soup dumplings dont stray far from what you would imagine but thats not a bad thing! The soup was delicious and the dumpling was delicious! Now the soup pan fried buns were the stars of the show! They were chewy on top but crispy on the bottom! It was also filled with meat and soup. I viewed it like an advanced soup dumpling, it was so good! Definitely get these! The first entrée we got was the braised pork belly with rice! The pork was very tender, didnt take much to chew through! The sauce it came with was also very velvety smooth and stuck so well to the meat, veggies and rice! The second entrée was the beef stone pot noodle soup! We got the sour rendition of the broth, I thought it paired so well with the spiciness of the dish. It had a little kick, enough to clear my sinuses! Very similar to a tomyum or sinigang flavor. I wish it had a little more meat but I cant complain too much when it has so much flavor! Its been cold in the area lately and Special Noodle helped so much in warming me up! Good service and good food, cant ask for much more!

99 Ranch Market
3288 Pierce St E500, Richmond, CA 94804, United States
Ive been shopping here for fun for decades. The great thing to me about this location is all the other unique fun shops surrounding it. This is the Pan-Asian Mall located in the Richmond Annex I believe. Whats really important is 99 Ranch Market. Huge variety of fresh produce Meats fish and all the assorted Dry Goods that you need to make your authentic Asian dishes. We usually find the best curries here, or the best dry spices in order to make your own Curry. Folks that work there arent necessarily the nicest, kindest but that doesnt really matter. As long as you know what you want and are willing to look around to find it, you dont have to interact with them much. Greatest assortment of tea cookies, teas, snack crackers and chips for all your late night or any other time of the day cravings. Im not a big fan of their Bakery but thats just me. Theres a really great bakery across the corridor from them. They also have a hot Deli, but its cash only from my experience. On the weekends parking can be insane. There is parking in the back and entrances in the back if you know where to find them. Otherwise we found going during the week is generally more do-able. No matter what though, Ill continue to shop here because I always find something I want that I really dont need but it turns out to be very useful. Or I find delicious foods to liven up the weekly menu.

Le Dessert Lab
3288 Pierce St C113, Richmond, CA 94804, United States
Le Dessert Lab is one of kind. Quick stop to grab a boba or to-go a gift (the Rainbow pastry!) If you have time, dine-in in the cozy store full of rainbows, flowers, angels - so dreamy - that we sometimes come here just to remind ourselves to dream.I love to bring little one (dress her up!) after school and have a mini tea with her in the pink corner by the flower table. She loved to play Angel with the giant wings on the wall, or look into the mirror with giant bow like Alice in Wonderland. Great reminder to kids: they are born magical. The snowy Mochi is their specialty (they sold out today, I don't have photos), but let me describe it: paper-thin Mochi skin hugging a blob of fluffy whipped cream - should I say, like eating a cloud? ☺️ I would recommend.Today we tried the Strawberry Mini Cake and to-go the Rainbow pastry as a gift. Mini Cake is a good size for mini human? Classic sponge cake with classic whipped cream, and whipped cream's best friend Strawberries ? can't complain.I always order the Osmanthus Milk Tea with Osmanthus Jelly. The scent of the flowers really comes through, makes my day for I am a flower person. And I am able to lower the sugar level to 0, which is essential. No wifi. To some people it might be a bad thing, but it could also be a blessing to unplug a little.Ample space and ample free parking.

V8 kitchen
1400 Macdonald Ave, Richmond, CA 94801, United States
Some of the best Chinese takeout in the area! Prices are slightly above those of local competitors, but the portion sizes are large and the quality makes it worth it.I got:Sesame chickenBBQ pork chow meiSweet and sour chicken (lunch special no. 1)Spam musubeThey were all delicious!I knocked off a star because I did find the turnaround speed to be pretty slow. It was a full 25 minutes from the time I put my order in until I walked out with my food, and they didnt appear that busy otherwise. Hopefully, this was a fluke and next time itll be faster.Regardless, Ill definitely be coming back here when I want some Chinese takeout.

Love this place, they have everything. Its like a miniature China Town crossed with Japan Town plus a shopping center. If you want a massage, they got you covered. If you want to go grocery shopping for exotic foods you Gucci. If you want to eat Asian food there plenty of restaurants to choose from, dimsum, lao, sizchuan, japanese and bakeries. Parking is easy and theres also random stuff like electronics or karaoke.

Ph Thi Hng

Yes, finally a good Pho restaurant found in Richmond CA. The porridge tried was very good also ...its a year since I posted and Im adding a couple of photos and we have tried other items.. I have only positive feelings towards everything we have ordered.. we have been here at least 20 times in the last year. I always recommend staying with what their specialty is Pho .or other vietnamese dishes dont order Chinese at a Japanese restaurant..and expect authanticity ...service was nice and accommodating we asked for ginger for the porridge and it arrived sliced thin and fresh...condiments of sprouts, limes, lettuce, basil were generous in their proportions.... large Asian orientated menu..and yes they also serve vegetarian dishes This place surpassed my expectations..Prices very very reasonable.portions of Pho and porridge were generous.. we left full and satisfied
