Been to Jojos so many times, I love it! There options of Sushi is a very good amount! I even brought my boy friend who never had Sushi be for and the were so helpful on pointing out what Sushi to try if its youre first time! Also there small little restaurant can be very intimate, but also a little cramped. Jojos is my go to Japanese restaurant.

Osake Japanese Restaurant

First time here and we wanted it to be good. After moving here recently, we were looking forward to the meal based on reviews. On the positive side, the service was good. We were seated promptly even though we did not have a reservation. Our waitress was attentive and adusted our meal choices and tab when the rolls fell short of expectations. The wine list was better than Id seen at other Japanese resturants. The Maguro was very fresh and tasty and the Miso soup was good. The rest of the meal was disappointing. The specialty rolls arrived with flattened and gooey rice and bland fillings, making me think the rolls may have been made in advance and left sitting for a long time. The waitress removed this item from our bill after finding it largely untouched. I will say that the maguro was very good and the best dish of our meal. My husbands bento box missed all the nuances of traditional Japanese techniques we were expecting, like hot crispy tempura with cruncy texture and well-seasoned beef, cooked on high heat and served promptly. Instead the tempura was limp and lukewarm. The beef was lacking flavor and served room temperature. I will say that he finished the meal despite his complaints. So I guess it was passable for a hungry man.

Very high rating japanese restaurant.Food quality is over expectations, the bento box is good enough to fill up your stomach, the shrimp is fresh.Service provided was also very nice, they help to answer what you need to know for the food to be ordered. The restaurant is very chill, it is really a nice place to gather after work. I really recommend visiting this restaurant if you want to try japanese food.

Shogun Japanese Restaurant
1531 Farmers Ln, Santa Rosa, CA 95405, United States
Our favorite Japanese Restaurant in Santa Rosa. Whenever my favorite son-in-law visits from SoCal we have to take one nights dinner (at least) at Shoguns. Its always a wonderful experience …even when my wife and I dine here alone. Try everything! Ive never been disappointed with any Shogun dish.

Paradise Sushi and Hibachi

We made a reservation for 13 people, and were seated in a private table in the back; after we got there, two other large parties each having more than 9 people were seated, and served before we were. We waited close to 80 minutes for the food to be brought by the chef. This is an excuse of a Japanese restaurant, and they don’t take pride in representing Japanese culture. I’m surprised they are still a functional restaurant. The best part of this experience was the chef which was really funny, and skilled cook.

Bowl & Roll
1331 Guerneville Rd ste q, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, United States
I went 3x in 1 week. I had everything from sushi to Ramen to fried appetizers. The Food was above average and reasonably priced. Service was super friendly. The only downside is they are a little slow from when you place your order to the time you receive order... No matter when/what I ordered it was a 30+min wait. This didnt change regardless of the food type nor the busy-ness at the time... At least you know it was made fresh! Also cool to know that this is one of the only places Ive visited to offer more than 2 flavors of the Kimura Ramune sodas. If youve never had one you need to try one. Theyre Neat, fun & tasty; you may have seen them before. Theyre the clear glass bottle sodas that are sealed with air pressure and a marble. Kids love them too! Comes in Lychee, ?, original, peach, many more! (See pic)

Kamura Sushi
3800 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95407, United States
Some of the best sushi Ive ever had!My 2 girlfriends and I went at 6pm on a Monday night and had no problem getting a socially distanced outside table. There were 2 other parties dining outside while we were there, but there was plenty of space between us, and the server wore a mask the entire time.We split the garlic edamame, Hamachi sashimi, and 3 rolls: the 49er, the Sebastopol, and the M.D.The Hamachi was delicious and fresh, though I thought it strange that it had thin slices of tomato on top. The garlic edamame was salty and covered in lots of soy and minced, charred garlic. The sushi rolls were all very fresh tasting and stuffed with all the great ingredients, not skimpy at all. They also had a ton of toppings and just the right amount of sauce. We surprised ourselves with how fast we devoured them all, and it was just the perfect amount of food to be full, but not stuffed. The service was extremely fast and our server checked on us often, refilling our waters each time, as it was warm out and we ordered spicy rolls.I just found my new favorite sushi spot in Santa Rosa and will definitely be going back!

Thought this was a Japanese Restaurant based on the name. Food was not worth the price paid. Will not go back there.

Genji
Whole Foods Market, 390 Coddingtown Mall, Santa Rosa, CA 95401, United States
The location of this place is confusing. It says Japanese Restaurant in Whole Foods. There is a small area dedicated to two ladies rolling sushi, and some boxed up sushi, but I didnt see a restaurant. I asked the Whole Foods staff and no one knew of a restaurant. The boxed sushi was great, and its convenient inside Coddingtown Whole Foods near the bakery in the back of the store.
