Bowld Korean Rice Bar
1479 Solano Ave, Albany, CA 94706, United States
This little Korean restaurant is still holding it down in Albany! The Dolset Bibimbop was superb! I love all the kimchi and pickled side dishes that come with every meal. The service was promot. We were lucky because no one was there when we got seated, but it was packed when we left.I would order the veggie pancakes and Dolset again. My mom had the Chicken Korean BBQ. It comes out on a metal plate sizzling. Excellent presentation. I enjoy smelling the food cook at the table while I am eating. yum.(OLDER REVIEW BELOW)Great Bibimbop! I like mine hot and they serve it in a hot bowl. They also give you a variety of kimchi to eat for free with your meal. I crave it from time to time.
Oori Rice Triangles
1247 Solano Ave, Albany, CA 94706, United States
My obsession with cute small things takes me to Oori, though the rice balls are definitely not small.I love onigiri! Theyre such a fulfilling snack but can also serve as a meal. I especially love getting onigiri as meals because that means I can choose more flavors :)Why this place rocks:- rice to seaweed to protein ratio is fantastic! they dont overkill it with the rice like Onigilly sometimes does.- so many options from fish to grilled meats to marinated tofu! All their protein choices had a lot of flavor. I loved their Grilled Salmon, Crab, and Short Rib (in that order). I didnt care too much for the spicy shrimp but it wasnt bad!- prices are decent! It was great for a quick bite and loved the flexibility of being able to choose how much food I wanted (4 rice triangles was a little much). They do have an option for plates instead of rice triangles which is a great alternative because their meat and rice combo would be killer. If Im ever in the area, definitely paying a visit here to pick up some rice triangles.

Been here a few times and the first few was okay, my order was correct. and the young ladies who are cashiering are alway nice. the last three times in a role the first mistake was they charged me 3 baby burgers when the Indian guy took our order by phone the second time they added mustard when we simply said no mayo no mustard the burger was wasted because the mustard was all over the burger and my husband can't eat mustard. the 3rd time we asked for a double cheese burger with cheese and when my husband check his burger in the parking lot their was no cheese, the Asian lady who looked like the supervisor apologizes for the mistake and she put one piece of cheese on the double cheeseburger. On an order that they messed up and charged $45. 96 and said she won't charge me for the cheese and yet still didn't give me my receipt that I've asked for when I arrived. when my husband called to placed our order, the young Caucasian man who is answering the phone is always rushing to get off the phone (anything else anything else) that was his attitude every time and when I come to pick up my order is wrong.I have to keep asking for my receipt every time I go here and only once I was given my receipt on the night when they messed up my order and charged me for 3 baby burgers, my receipt was handed to me right away by the young ladies who were cashiering. I like this place it has a classic vibe to it and the burgers are good but is getting too expensive. We order the same thing every time only once we added zucchini fries but that's it. Shouldn't cost too much. my husband ordered a 2/3 Lb Double Burger With Cheese $14.50 and two 1/6 Ib Baby Burgers $6.75 with two orders of French Fries $4.75 our order stay the same unless we add a extra fries or zucchini fries and my order total change every time and since I have to keep asking for a receipt and never received it because they always seem to be busy or just ignoring my request. the simple fact that the cashier guy who placed my phone order doesn't have to stand there and watch the burgers get grilled, he can simply assist me by getting me my receipt. I have to look at my bank statements. I just hope they take care of this nice classic place and take the time to pay attention to the customer order and give a receipt without the customer having to ask for one. put employees on the phone who don't seem to be in a rush to get you off the phone because that's how you mess up the customers order. I gave 4 ⭐️ because one star wouldn't be fair to the people who are making the food they are doing a good job!.. below are my bank statements for the last 3 orders that I've placed.CHK PURCHASE ALS BIG BURGER. Wojia Hunan Cuisine
917 San Pablo Ave, Albany, CA 94706, United States
This is our new fav Chinese restaurant in the entire Bay Area! We used to drive to Ping’s Bistro in Fremont for good Hunan food. But after discovering Wojia, we’ll never need to drive to Fremont anymore. All the dishes are so flavorful and distinct from each other in terms of the spices that are used. The Hunan Style beef ribs stew is amazing, almost tastes like Korean galbi jjim but much more flavorful and sophisticated. The sauce of the jelly noodles is so unique and tasty. And the duck stew was also super delicious. Their service is also great and really accommodating for parties with small children. Will definitely come back again often.
Albany Ao Sen
665 San Pablo Ave, Albany, CA 94706, United States
The food is good, depending on the dish. APPETIZER > #B-Spring Rolls are great with the dipping sauce (I see this dish on almost every table whenever Im here) and #C-Spicy Marinated Fired Chicken Wings are tasty. MAIN DISH > I personally like #25 Com Tam Bi Cha Thit Nuong and Bun Bo Hue is authentic (just missing pork hock leg). Bun Bo Hue can be spicy for those who cannot handle a little heat. Cha Ca Thang Long and Bun Thit Nuong also delicious. In my opinion, the Pho is not good here, the taste is not well-rounded; My three friends and myself are Vietnamese and we agree that the Pho broth (the main ingredient) does not have enough richness to it. Price is about $2 more than the usual Vietnamese food. Lots of parking available. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! If the Pho here can be better then they definitely deserve a 5 stars. Oh and they do give free hot tea now, which they did not when they first opened.
Sumo Japanese Restaurant
2009 977, CA-123, Albany, CA 94706, United States
I highly recommend sumo Japanese food in Albany Ca. I hadnt gone in a long time my friend and I went there yesterday we both really liked and enjoy our food we both got bento boxes and POT stickers, End EDAMAME everything was really good. There is street parking but sometimes it could be tough theres a small parking lot in the back yethat a lot of people dont know about. The staff were friendly and nice it was a pleasant atmosphere I think theres usually a coupon in the ValpaK The 2 times we went recently we used different coupons from there the saki coupon you can use with either of the other money off coupons. It reasonably priced anyway but the coupon makes it even better you get the valo pack in the mail or you can go online and get the coupon from there. I went back with another friend about a week later and we both loved our food and got $10 off our meal from the Valpak. Both of my friends agreed that this restaurant is better and you get a better deal and more food than the one we usually go to with in El Cerrito which we like also. Seems like this is a family own business and definitely people Should go there. I believe theyre close Mondays and their hours are Tuesday to Friday 11 AM to 2:30 PM then they close and reopen from 430 to 8:30 PM and according to the web, I think theyre open from 4 to 930 on Saturday and Until 830 on Sunday but I dont know for sure probably should call 1st.
Yo Sushi

This is Korean style Japanese restaurant. Thus, I couldnt enjoy authentic Japanese foods. However, its affordable and good to have a simple meal.
