Tastiest & cleanest Korean tofu soup restaurant in Diamond Bar. Thank you for the great service!
Young Dong Tofu
2839 S Diamond Bar Blvd, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, United States
Probably my favorite Korean restaurant in the Diamond Bar area. The place is always crowded, and there are always older Koreans eating here (a good sign). What stands out here are the side dishes, especially the jeon, and the nonspicy chicken. You cant go wrong with eating anything on the menu but I have to recommend everybody try the nonspicy chicken. The only downside is the wait and service can take a while but because theyre always busy its to be expected.

I had a wonderful experience at Tofubean Korean BBQ, a new and authentic Korean soft tofu restaurant in Diamond Bar. The food was amazing, the service was fast and friendly, and the place was clean and cozy.I ordered the seafood and beef tofu soup, which had a spicy and rich flavor that I loved. The soup came with a generous amount of seafood and beef, as well as soft and silky tofu. I wanted to let my wife taste it, so I packed the same menu and brought it home. The side dishes were also delicious and complemented the main dish well. I especially enjoyed the kimchi and the potato salad, which had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess. The portions were big and satisfying, and I felt like I got a great value for my money. The staff was very attentive and courteous, and they made sure that I had everything I needed. They also brought out the food quickly after I placed my order, which I appreciated. The restaurant was very clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, with modern decor and comfortable seating.I cant wait to go back to Tofubean Korean BBQ and try their other menu items, such as the pork cutlet and the seafood noodles. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean food or wants to try something new and delicious. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area, and Im giving it five stars!

Quality Korean BBQ AYCE in Diamond Bar. Meats are high quality especially on their premium AYCE menu. Banchan is just OK, but meats are carefully chosen. No frills KBB restaurant. Just indulge on your cravings of good KBB AYCE. Not crowded either.
Furai Chicken Diamond Bar
21080 Golden Springs Dr, Diamond Bar, CA 91789, United States
I love Furai franchise. One in Irvine and this one in Diamond Bar are my go-to k-chicken spots. Or at least were. I ordered a whole original chicken via Doordash pick up and all the pieces were burnt and smelled of stale oil. I shouldve known something was up when I was notified that the chicken was prepared within 10 minutes. My family, being hungry, each of us took a bite and it tasted so bitter. And we felt nauseous afterwards. I am utterly disappointed. I wonder if they had a change of ownership. =( I hope one in Irvine is still decent.
AP GU JUNG (Abeom Soondae)
20627 Golden Springs Dr # 2F, Diamond Bar, CA 91789, United States
First and last time here, the two of us were the only customers. The portion was too small for the price. I ordered the beef short ribs soup. It has four pieces of meat, lots of scallions and a few clear noodle in the beef broth. The “seafood” tofu had tiny bits of hardly can be “seen-food”. They served 6 little side dishes and we had to ask for refills bc we'd have walked out still hungry.Interesting observation that the staff seemed to have ordered Chinese takeout for themselves instead of the restaurant's own food. The two servers mostly just talked with each other while we were there. Never came by to refill water or side dishes. Most items are pricey $44+, probably too risky to try given this experience.
Myung In Dumplings
20627 Golden Springs Dr #2a, Diamond Bar, CA 91789, United States
Authentic Korean restaurant that specializes in dumplings. I’ve been to the Koreatown location a couple of times but never realized this place was so close to Walnut. Came here on a Saturday at lunch around 1pm and was seated immediately. There were a few other groups already seated and chatting animatedly. We were given a pitcher of water and the menus were already at the table so you can order pretty quickly. All alcoholic drinks are $8 - the waitress swirled around the makgeoli which I had never seen before but it was cool to see. She quickly brought out the banchan plus a sauce. The banchan was super fresh and the one that was brown with a light sauce had a spiciness that crept up after you’ve finished chewing it. The two of us got the rice cakes with ramen and an order of Korean dumplings. The rice cake dish ($13) was huge - it could easily have fed four people. The carrots were super crisp and fresh and I liked the generous amount of fish cakes and rice. The dumplings were also extremely good ($9) and were handmade. You can see one of the workers making it by hand by the counter. Very large portions and the sauce you can put on it was delicious (soy sauce based). When we were finished, we paidnat the counter where she had our check waiting. For an Asian business, the service was friendly as she stopped by to check on how we were doing at one point. There’s bathrooms available and they do take credit card. Overall a very hearty, delicious meal for a reasonable price.

Yupdduk Diamond Bar

Korean restaurant with spicy offerings. They’re currently open for delivery (à la UberEats) / takeout during covid. Came here on a Sunday for lunch; called ahead and my food was ready ~20 min later. There’s plenty of parking as it’s located in a lot. Credit cards are accepted. Service is polite and efficient.Food wise, the menu is focused on bringing the heat. They have tteokbokki (rice cakes in a red stew with fish cakes, mozzarella cheese, and noodles). It’s comfort food, and you can opt for more fish cake or more rice cake (same price). One order could feed three to four people. You can opt for add-one; we got the Chinese noodles for an additional $3. It’s suuuuper chewy; it seems popular based on other reviews, but next time, I’d rather try ramen noodles. There were only three sausages in our order but plenty of fish cake. We also got an order of spicy wings (comes with 12). The food is very flavorful. You can customize the spice level - we opted for original, and I had to drink five glasses of water due to the spice (it was so worth it!). Overall, I really liked the food for the taste, portion, and price. I’d recommend coming here when you want to get some spicy, homey food.
