Korean Restaurant & Market

One of my all time favorite Korean restaurants. Everything is made with care that it tastes like home cooking.
Flame Broiler
43403 10th St W Suite E, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
This Flame Broiler is one of the worst that Ive been to, and Ive been to most of them in Southern Cali. From as far North in Bakersfield to as far South in San Diego. My favorite location is the one in Torrance where they make your food hot and fresh to order. This location? They measure your food on a scale?! No other location does this. Also, they dont like serving full portions. I ordered 3 Works (or half & half) bowls with extra green onion on 2. Been ordering like this for almost 10 years! My server scoops the smallest amount of rice, then scoops ONE spoon of meat, shakes the meat back into the meat container and tries to divide the half spoon of meat between the 3 bowls. She also did the same thing with the veggies which is not how its supposed to be served. When I brought it to her attention she asked if I wanted extra meat. No, I just wanted the servings that go in the bowl. Then she goes to dip the steak and does the same thing. I ask her why shes not serving a regular portion, she offers to give me extra meat. Again she scoops then half empties the spoon to divide the meat. Will somebody tell me why I received barely 2 half spoons of meat that were divided by 3 bowls? When the owner/manager walks up, he does NOTHING. I had to ask 3 times for green onion and only got it on 1 bowl. Small divided up portions but you keep increasing the price. Now, when the manager serves you, its the regular portion but anytime his staff serve, they have broken wrist syndrome. Just why?! Ugh... ??

Lucky Luke Brewpub
735 W Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
You cant beat the location. Now that winter has pulled away. Its really nice to be on the boulevard. The beer is getting a like more subtle and polished, but its still all an IPA whether ESB or Pilsner that bright bitter taste takes over. It doesnt land well with spicy foods. The spicy food mixed beer kind of forks the tongue. I think the chef burned out her tongue in a former life. All the ingredients are quirky and brazen, but in a vacuum. They are all cool on their own. When they are combined into dishes, its like the first round of american idol, a bunch of glory hog soloist trying to belt each other off the stage. In reality there is a spectrum of each ingredient and that exists so you can choose a band of ingredients that play as one. Mostly the food is a sauce delivery device. The slaw doesnt retain a backbone of cabbage. The korean chicken doesnt leave any chicken flavor on the table. The breading is no longer feels fried and is a little thick. The chicken is so over brined it feels gelatinous. The beer cheese doesnt taste like beer or cheese. Basically it all tries too hard and the language of food has broken down. There has to be an easier more beer forward way with a little more spectrum of flavor. Space between the notes, not just EDM.
Ramen Boy
2073 W Ave K, Lancaster, CA 93536, United States
Went in today with my boyfriend, my mom, my dad and my brother in hopes to have a good dinner. Horrible experience from the start. Took at least 20 minutes to get our orders in and 3 ramens came out before any of our appetizers even did. After 1 out of the 3 appetizers came out, 1 more ramen came out and not only did they miss the garlic chips we asked for, the ramen noodles were already soaking up the broth and you could tell it was sitting there. The older lady who took our order came back about 3 more times to ask our order again and when one of the younger waitresses came by, she asked for our order twice. At which point I realized that my ramen wasn't even started on when all of my family had finished theirs. We asked for a plain edamame and they kept coming back to our table saying “sorry, the back messed up and made a garlic one, do you want it on the house?” No, I wanted what I ordered and that wasn't it. Second of all, where is my ramen and why didn't you offer something I actually ordered for free to make up for it in return instead of repetitively asking us if we wanted something we didn't even order for free? In the end, the ramen and edamame came out in horrible condition. I wish I didn't pay for any of this unauthentic food and inattentive service. Everything needs improvement.

The Habit Burger Grill (Drive-Thru)
1037 W Ave K, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
REVISION 01/03/2020 (COLD FRIES)!!!*Review Downgraded-My 1st experience here resulted with a complaint to the Mgr., for being served COLD FRIES! My 2nd experience resulted in filing a formal complaint to Corporate for COLD FRIES.After being rebated by Corporate with a free meal, my experience seemed to of been corrected, but it was short lived. I take my family here once a month, since the grand opening. The last 3 months have resulted in COLD FRIES!!! I will be filing a 2nd Formal Complaint for repetitive COLD FRIES!! WHY The Habit doesnt use heat lamps because they say they cook fries per order, BUT THEY DONT COOK PER ORDER!Initial/Original Review:Outstanding an excellent choice of hamburgers, charbroiled over an open flame and Grill. The Habit has reasonably priced hamburgers of numerous customized types. Prices are very reasonable approximately $5 for a double Charburger. Meal deal for $8 cannot be beat for the quality and size of the meal.In-N-Out has some serious competition as well as every Burger Grill in Lancaster and Palmdale. French fries are great; much better than the little pieces one gets at In-N-Out, these days.I will never eat at McDonalds again; which is located right down the street.Onion rings are outstanding and make me wonder if these are from Vidalia Georgia i.e. onions. Onions are sweet and the breading is perfectly fried.Habit lived up to and exceeded my expectations thank you for a wonderful meal. Best hamburgers in town in my opinion.
Challenger Tap House
1048 E Ave K, Lancaster, CA 93535, United States
Let me start off by saying that this is a brand new establishment and it shows. All in all we were there an hour before we were served anything other than water, and itsnot like it was remotely busy. We had to ask the waitress if we could order beer, then she took my boyfriends order and never even bothered to ask if I would like a drink. I mean it is a tap house I just figured theyd offer something other than water. As for food I ordered the beer cheeseburger medium rare and it was delicious. Caramalized onions worked great with the jalapenos and cheese. The fries were the best Ive had in the AV but consistency was also lacking. My boyfriend however ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which honestly should be renamed to a slider. The chicken breast was a joke. We brought this up to our lovely waitresses attention and her response was Yeah thats the third time we hear that complain today and then walked away. So they obviously know its a problem and have not came up with a solution, it just really seems like customer satisfaction is not a priority in this establishment which is kind of upsetting because we were really looking forward to making this part of our list of places we frequent. What a bummer. Maybe Ill try months if not years down the road once theyre not so green.
Big Belly Pizza Company
42458 60th St W #115, Lancaster, CA 93536, United States
Absolutely worst experience EVER! They delivered our pizza to the wrong address, then refused to replace it without the original pizza being given back then refused to refund our money. We gave our new address over and over again and their excuse was well sometimes it doesnt print correctly so the driver just sent it to the other address Ironically though our space number was on it....I will tell everyone about my horrible experience. Not to mention, the pizza sucks. Its not flavorful and way over sauced. Not sure why anyone would recommend them to anyone. Also, if you deliver pizza to the wrong address AND the person at that address says yeah its ok, just leave it ITS NOT OK! DONT LEAVE IT!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!! SERIOUSLY RUN THAT ONE THROUGH YOUR HEAD AGAIN BECAUSE THE MORE I DO THE MORE UPSET I GET!!!!
