Sura Korean BBQ & Tofu House Restaurant - Long ...
621 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States
Awesome Korean Fusion food. I would say it is one of my favorites to go in Long Beach due to the cozy atmosphere, great food, and reasonable pricesThe Bibimbap is tasty and comes Korean style with all the side dishes. Yummy Korean tacos and filling Bulgogi fries that you get for a real deal during Happy Hour. Korean Tacos come with the choices of Bulgogi meat, Chicken, Pork, or Tofu. My favorite is the Bulgogi Meat. Tuesdays and Thursdays you will get a special price for the Korean Tacos. Its a family owned restaurant the owner is very nice and staff is friendly.
moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Long Beach)
1388 Daisy Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813, United States
This is an UberEats order. The food travels well and tastes good when all the flavors are active in the bites. Does the bowl (cardboard, paper --??) have absorbent qualities? The rice seems dry/to dry even after the application of citrus and sauce. I feel like I have to put the Sesame Surprise in a separate non absorbent bowl to make sure the moisture remains in the meal. According to a note that comes with the packaging, moonbowls seems to be ensuring food that meets the highest health and safety standards.1/2/2020 UpdateThe customer service is on point. The Avocado Bulgogi is really really good. There is a huge difference/improvement in my most recent meal in comparison to my prior orders from moonbowls. The entire meal is flavorful AND juicy. The Impossible Beef, the green onions, the sweet peppers, the shredded Kale, the Kimchi (a very distinct flavor which the Avocado softens), the citrus, the sauce, and the Avocado mix very well together in a bite/mix.
MARINATE Korean BBQ
4150 McGowen St #14, Long Beach, CA 90808, United States
The food was great but man was the experience and customer service disappointing. I ordered a burrito with no eggs or cheese and added kimchi, cucumbers and tomatoes. As I was driving an employee called and said that it was going to be an extra $1 charge for the one extra topping of veggies after I took out the eggs and cheese. (I also left a $3 tip). There was absolutely nothing on the menu that indicated if you add an extra veggie it would cost extra. I dont know if thats GrubHubs fault or theirs but I clearly explained that and had I known I would have only gotten two veggies. This was also my first time. I just think its coming sense customer service and business to give the customer the benefit of the doubt. Whoever was working insisted on the $1 and I wasnt going to sit there and argue for $1 but it was really baffling that you would risk losing a customer over this ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT.Well, my girlfriend and I got our food and went outside and when my girlfriend checked her food it was missing the avocado and egg she had asked for. So she went back and the guy explained that they had no more avocado, which again is something they should of mentioned, and even wanted to prove to her to show her the avocados were bad. My girlfriend just asked for an extra egg as a replacement to the avocado and to their credit they did make her another salmon bowl. The food was great and I absolutely love the burrito but the experience was so off-putting that I question if Id want to go back with so many other options. Three out of Five.

This is a restaurant I often visited when I was an exchange student at CSULB in 2016.You can eat rice, meat, and vegetables that are close to Korean food, and its really delicious.I miss you like crazy.

This is by far my favorite Flame Broiler. I truly enjoy eating food from here, if Im choosing to go with a combo of: (take out chain restaurant + their style of food). The spicy Korean chicken here is always cooked on point, and tastes good (havent seen it offered at many other locations) and it is pretty spicy imo. But, the best part about this particular location is the magic sauce cups. 1) they are bigger - two cups is usually enough for a bowl, unless you want your food literally swamped in it, and 2) theres something just a little bit better/more tasty about it. You might think, its a chain, therefore the sauce must be the same everywhere... I understand that you are saying, and you could think that, but I think youd be missing out.

Tasty food, friendly & quick service. Definitely suggest you try it if you havent already!I went to The Flame Broiler on Candlewood Ave. in Lakewood, CA just across the street from the north side of the Lakewood Center.Be aware that this location IS NOT listed, nor found any where on, The Flame Broilers corp. website. I emailed the corp office, but I have not received a reply as of this writing. I also mentioned it to the cashier at The Flame Broiler when I was there & he was aware his locations omission from the corp. websites location listing, but he appeared, at least to me, to be frustrated from, or tired of, trying to correct the exclusion. So, if you want to find the Candlewood Ave. location in Lakewood, CA, youll need to include Candlewood Ave.& Lakewood, CA along with The Flame Broiler when doing an internet search.

Poke Pub
160 The Promenade N, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States
This is my favorite spot to eat… IN THE WORLD. What would be my last meal on this earth? What would I want to eat on my birthday? THIS PLACE.My favorite order for 2 people is the bulgogi burrito and the poke bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, spicy mayo and all the fixings. It is unreal. The flavor profile of the bulgogi burrito with the sushi rice, the seaweed wrap, kewpie mayo and bulgogi is unbelievable. Order it and after your first bite you're literally transported to another planet. THEN the poke bowl- the fish is SO GOOD. There is no fishy taste whatsoever. I will even go as far to say even better than the poke in food land in HI. I said it fight me.So… if you're in this area bc you're here for a conference or the Christmas tree lighting ceremony or F1. For reals come to this place. I dream about it. I love this place oh yeah and if Gracie is there she is the best employee at this establishment. Always put together and so nice and makes the food RIGHT. okay
KUMI KO

I am posting the review placed aWhile back from Malia Jay (Yelp)It bears repeatingToo many choices and the quality is sub par and expensive . Staff is only nice when you order alot of menu items . For a short drive to Gardena there are many other restaurants that are affordable and better quality . Go there instead of this placeUpdateYouve got the wrong customer in mind. Dont try to lessen my criticism by suggesting I am not familiar with your offerings. One order was a 2 Tempura Dinners to go. Second was dine in Korean BBQ Ribs and katsu don.Trying to obscure the issue by pretending to know me and my orders will only show you up to potential customers. Too bad.2nd UpdateOh, youve discontinued those items? I suppose Im not alone in complaining, then? Its patently obvious you dont remember me and are trying to throw shade on my opinion. Just one more reason not to patronize your business
