Another spicy chicken sandwiches review, this time in paramount at Holdaak fried chicken. I went with the Holdaak spicy chicken sandwich and elote slaw. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside the spiciness was ok but not at all spicy for me. The slaw added on this sandwhich is called daikonslaw is different than any I have tasted but paired ok with the chicken. I could not taste the comeback sauce at all with all the other flavors going on. Bread was regular white bread, which just dilutes some of the flavors. Elote slaw is corn with some Daikons slaw and topped with crushed Takis chips. Ok, elote is good, but the takis on top kill the taste, and the daikon slaw is way too sweet. It goes from one extreme of Takis being excessively tangy to super sweet of the slaw. One tip if you are coming to order at the restaurant, know what you are getting before you order because there is only one self ordering display that can get backed up. All in all, bomb. I would go back to try other sandwiches or items in the menu.update 3.13.23 Tried the spicy sandwich OMG, one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I have had, went from a 4 star to 5 star ?.

This establishment is located in a non-descript strip mall near the 105 freeway. Its fairly easy to miss this place while driving by. My first visit was about 20 years ago, and Ive been coming back every now and then when Im craving a Italian-style sub. The bread is freshly baked, with a golden crispiness that combined with melting cheese, is hard to resist. My favorite sandwich is the mushroom steak, which includes a generous helping of beef and marinated mushrooms.Georgios is owned by a friendly Korean couple, who always exchange pleasantries with customers. They definitely know how to run a business, and it shows by the number of longtime employees that have been with them for many years.If you are passing the 105 near Paramount, I would highly recommend dropping by this place and grabbing lunch here.

I am honestly so, so impressed. Immediately, the atmosphere and customer service right off the bat are excellent. Having the Sriracha bottle on the table is an A++ from me. Complimentary refills and attentive servers are a highlight as well. Now, down to the food. My girlfriend and I judge a new sushi spot by their spicy tuna. I thought the flavor was right on point; It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the baked salmon roll, and the tsunami roll. Our personal favorite was the tsunami roll, its seriously so freaking good. The baked salmon roll was also so delicious. The only thing was our spicy garlic edamame was a bit overcooked and not saucy enough, but the flavor wasnt bad. The spicy mayo also didnt taste like the usual sushi spot flavor. But those are just 2 minor flaws compared to the many many successes. This place is probably going to replace our usual spot, Kikyo in Bellflower, just on customer service alone (the sushi quality is just as good). This is a hidden gem and we will be returning.

Food is okay. Mainly come here for the drinks. They are never open when their hours say they are, so call ahead. I get my water next door and it says theyre opwn at 1030, but I literally say them walk through for the day 15min after. While sick and needing soup, I sent my partner to get some knowing they dont close til 8...as listed in their store hours. But even 15 min til they were already closed. I dont mind when businesses want to have time to spend with their families...I just want them to be upfront and honest about their hours so people dont waste their time driving out there. And really, if you feel business is so slow you can open and close whenever you want, maybe thats the reason people dont show up--they never know if youll be open.

Names not very memorable, but Ive tried most of the quick serve take out sushi places around this area, and Roll and Teriyaki is THE best in terms of quality and cost, based on my experiences.Their only flaw is that they dont automatically give you wasabi and ginger with your rolls (last 2 times I ordered from here) you have to specifically ask for it. Their selection is a little smaller too, as they only have the most popular kinds of sushi, and not the more exotic stuff.That said, so long as you take advantage of their weekday and weekend specials, they have the best prices in town, and the quality of the food (including the ingredients) are a cut above. Theres less rice and more filling compared to most places, and the seasonings and the preparation are very good.The parking in this plaza sucks, and its usually better to get takeout rather than try to eat in (not much parking and the dining area is small too), but if youre in the mood for more conventional sushi (not uncommon / eclectic kinds) this is the best place Ive found. They have the quality of the expensive places, while having the cost of a cheap place.If youre curious about this place, and want to try it while its still cheap, Id recommend coming by sooner rather than later, as the quality of the food here is so good, I can only see the prices going up in the future. They beat the pants off of more expensive places, and the quality really is comparable to the fancy sit down restaurants.

Mahalo! Our quest for a tasty meal brought us to Ono Hawaiian BBQ Restaurant in Paramount, California. The food and flavor of Onos Hawaiian BBQ had us reminiscing about our meals in Waikiki. You cant go wrong with delicious Hawaiian inspired food like BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef & Kalbi Short Ribs served with rice & macaroni salad. Its a fusion of Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean and American dishes all rolled into one. No indoor/outdoor dining at this time but the restaurant was well lit, clean with a welcoming atmosphere.We ordered the Chicken Katsu which is crispy breaded chicken fillets served with special Ono Katsu Sauce. We added two orders of their meat lover’s favorite, the Hawaiian BBQ Mix which is BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef & Kalbi Short Ribs. We also ordered the BBQ & Katsu Mix dish, which is BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef and Chicken Katsu. All dishes came in take-out containers which includes a side of rice, macaroni salad and steamed vegetables. It was a lot of food and it was delicious and enjoyed by all.

Been buying from this truck for a few years now. The food is always good but the service is very inconsistent. The girls that work there are very stuck up and try and sass you up over the phone and in person. If you eat there during the day the food is definitely lighter and fresher than if you order like say after 6pm. After that time youll notice that the same plate you ordered is much heavier and all the food looks very oily. It still tastes good but you get much more full when you eat it at later times. I wish it would be more consistent but I think theyre just too lazy to clean the grill throughout the day as it does seem to get pretty busy.

Hey Guys Marvin Here reporting on what we see the most out here the famous Mom n Pop Hamburger places! The most famous one out there is Tams if you know you know! but today we went with zogos. We were starving!! I expected a drive thrue but no drive thrue. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a very old and outdated restaurant.. with hand made signs that read pozole in permanent marker. We continued on and went with the basic onion rings which were $7.99!! YIKES!! From there we ordered a Club sandwhich i asked the cashier to add turkey and a slice of cheese she seemed to have trouble understanding that order. We waited around 20 minutes for our food when we got it to go we opened up our food and the club had no cheese in it. My chorizo and egg burrito was the only thing on point $11.00 . It is really pricey and not worth it sorry for the bad review.

My husband I ate breakfast here, food was ? environment good. Outside to many homeless. My husband left his phone on the counter so I called and asked the cashier who was also the waitress that day that attended us. She said Oh yes you did leave your phone Ill hold it for you here and you can pick it up. Took us 30 minutes to go back and get it, when I got there she looked at me in a shocked way and said she had already handed the phone to someone else. I was very upset. This is not what I wanted to hear, we left and I just wouldnt go back.
