I thought that I would try something new, so I went to Flame Broiler ? after seeing the 4.1 rating online. I ordered a chicken bowl ? with rice and vegetables; the portions were small for the price, but it tasted pretty good. I thought it was good until.....2 minutes after finishing my meal I had a taste in my mouth that was a little fishy. Chicken is not supposed to taste like fish, so I had a breath mint and thought good thing I have a strong stomach,.... Nope! Half an hour later I had an immediate and urgent need to rush to the bathroom. My body usually doesnt act like this, but my body wanted to get that food out of me as fast as possible. I rushed to a toilet and before my butt touched the seat the Chicken Bowl from Flamer Broiler came flying out. It came out with such force I was surprised I didnt break the toilet. My body did not want any Flame Broiler left in me, so here I am typing out this entire review while Im still sitting on the toilet peeing Flame Broiler out of my butt. This is Not what I paid for and this is Not what I expected. I dont think I will ever go back there again, unless I want to flush out my colon really fast. Now my toilet is Not happy with me. Thanks Flame Broiler, I feel ten pounds lighter. ??

Terrible customer service, I ordered a Works Bowl at this location at 2:30 PM today. I specifically asked for no onions, the middle aged female cashier could barely speak English and misinterpreted my order as double onions. When recieved my order I alerted her of the problem since I have an onion allergy and took it back to the chef who could also barely speak English. He proceeded to pick off all the onions and douse the bowl with magic sauce as if nothing had happened. Again I reiterated to them that I cannot eat anything that has onions or onion oils. The poor English speaking women said its good as if I had not watched the chef. I am in a rush, and for that reason I proceeded out the door, wasting my money on an incorrect order that rendered it inedible to me. Im extremely upset and will no longer be visiting your locations if this is the type of service I should expect! I tried contacting corporate and they were completely useless as well, apparently they cannot do anything since they are individually owned. This is absolutely wrong and because of it, I will no longer visit any Flame Broiler locations period.

It was a pleasant surprise. 3 restaurants didnt allow us to make reservations on Mothers day, but we were allowed to make one on this one fourth restaurant. We absolutely loved it. I had reservations because it says pizza restaurant but honestly, the pizzas are made from scratch....you can tell its all made with love. They also have a variety of other dishes besides pizza, and they seem plain, however, their flavor and spin to these dishes are game changers. My party ordered many things to share and taste...what was shocking was that the corndog...a corndog... was just so different and amazing. You would just have to try it to enjoy and know it. I usually take pictures, but I was so hungry. I ate too much. I love that its so close toNewpirt Beach that I can just cross over and enjoy this restaurant. We were all shocked that we found this location because apparently it used to be a store. They only have Valet because its a small parkinglot and its narrow. I loved the whole vibe to the place. The patio area is lengthy, its breezy, shady, and so peaceful. They grow a lot of herbs all along the sides. Im just excited that we found a new spot that we will continue to come. Oh! And on Thursdays they have an open mic/band that comes in. We didnt see the stage because it was closed off. So, we are coming back on a Thursday to check it out. Our waiter was awesome, kind, and handsome. Haha, but not as handsome as my fiance ;)

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!! I cant believe the way I was just treated here today. Ive been going to Rosas Pizza since Valencia High school 34 years ago, ever since the original family owned it before the Asian family ran it. Back when the two brothers ran the place this was a repretable restaurant. I bet if either of the brothers would have been there today they would have been totally appalled for the way I was treated, the bothers know me and remember me and have always treated me with nothing but respect. The youngsters that work there now need a lesson or two in customer service. 34 years Ive been going to this place and after the way I was treated today I will never go back again!!! Aside from the horrible customer service if you want the honest truth about this place, it is so beat down and ran into the ground, the whole place from the chairs, to the tables, the floors and dont even get me started about the restrooms, just raunchy and so filthy its disgusting I shouldnt be eating there anyway I can just imagine what the kitchen looks like if I was to go back there and look Im suprised the health department even lets this place stay open. There hasnt been anything done to the place at least as long as Ive been going there 34 years. What happened today was totally unprofessional and they just lost a customer of 34 years!

Sad 5 star review. Back in 2014, i was down and out. I left my husband with 3 kids in tow. Filed for divorce and borrowed money from family to start over. After a few days of trying to figure out my life and new budget, and making sure my kids were set, my stomach growled like never before. Everyone know sometimes when we worry we forget to eat. That night, after the kids were put ti sleep. I just wanted to eat. I was so tired to cook something for myself. I just googled cheap pizza. Thiz place popped up and i got rhe smallest size i can afford. To help. Me muster strength, I chose Steak and potatoes. Was sort of a mental comfort thing and I was sort of out of it anyways. Who puts steak and potatoes on PIZZA??? It arrived shortly and I lit a candle and took a deep breath, knowing ill probably have a hard time swallowing bcs the stress and worry in my life. Its been about 7 years. Ive bought my own home, kids are in private schools, Im my own boss life couldnt be better. I travel with my kids from sea to sea, but not yet have I ever tasted a Steak and potatoe Pizza like the one they serve here. Ivr searched high and low, near and far. Nothing, No one like it!!!! Searching for comfort food isnt easy, this Steak and Potatoe Pizza here at this place filled me up on one of my darkest days. True Comfort Food.

Remodel update: 04/28/2022So I visited during the remodel. Clearly under new ownership again.Sushi chef is not a sushi chef. WAY too much rice in the sushi and fish is being cut so thin now that all you taste is rice. Have not gone back in months. And this use to be my go to place. Looking for better now._______________________________11/05/2020 UPDATE!Under new ownership Im guessing because they have really stepped up their game with the quality of food and service! They have lowered their prices significantly too! All you can each sushi is only $22.95 for lunch. What a deal! Way better quality sushi presentations too! Cant wait to go back again soon!FIVE STARS AGAIN!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Best Sushi around. Best deal with the all you can eat Sushi. Sushi is really fresh and Ive never been disappointed since the new owners have taken over the place. I dont know what the other reviewers are complaining about. Ive had nothing but good experiences while Ive been there. Of course when the restaurant is crowded the wait for Sushi can seem long, but thats at any busy Sushi restaurant. Sushi chefs are very creative with their dishes and I think theyre doing a better job than all of the other Sushi restaurants in town.... and Ive eaten at them all.

Its an ok place. The plaza is occasionally changing businesses. It is frequented mostly by the Hispanic community and is very busy. Parking can be very hard to find. There is a small number of transients that will hang around the front of some of the businesses. I recommend Taqueria De Anda and the Bakery next to Northgate. There is a barber shop run by these three Asian ladies and they do a great job at cutting hair. I tend to keep away from this place especially during Friday and Saturday nights when all the wannabe cartel members gather at the seafood restaurant. They are just annoying to look at.
