Myungdong Restaurant Tofu B.B.Q.

Owner lady, waitress... their attitudes were horrible. 5 of us sitting there... only one set of small portions of side dishes were brought out. R u kidding me? Korean restaurants are well known for their side dishes.Even after requesting the extra set, so we all get to at least taste eveything, she never brought them out. Actually she gave us a look with rolling of eyes as she turned the corner. We couldnt order fried dumplings either because of the oil temperature wasnt fully hot therefore not avail. It was already a lunch time, people!!! What time did you come to the restaurant to get ready for the customers? They posted signs asking people to apply for the hall serving, no, such an awful environment to work at, theyll be looking for a long time.

BoomDog Korean Corn Dog

My husband and I have eaten here a couple times now. Theyre located within the Victoria Gardens Food Hall on the very end (next to Albertos and across from Sbarros). The food hall overall has high ceilings and plenty of seating inside. They just opened recently and we happened to be at Victoria Gardens when they were having their grand opening special for a free drink with a purchase of a corn dog. We had just eaten at Sweetgreen and decided to get a corn dog each. We both got the original corn dog with all sausage. Theres an option to coat the outside with sugar and you can pick between ketchup, mustard, cheese or mayo. We just stuck with ketchup this time around. I really enjoyed the crispy-crunchy exterior with the little hint of sweetness, soft chewiness of the inside before getting to the sausage. It really hit the spot.About a month later (this past weekend), my husband had a craving for corn dogs again. This time I ordered a variety. We got the original corn dogs again with all sausage, the potato corn dogs with mozzarella, sweet potato corn dog with cheddar and sausage and then the spicy corn dog. I would say the potato corn dog is my second favorite and the mozzarella will give you an amazing cheese pull! LOL We still havent tried the Oreo corn dog yet, maybe next time.....I learned that this is the only Boom Dog location and that the owners are a husband and wife team. I really like that they are local owners and you can talk to them at the shop. Really delicious corn dogs... The original corn dog is still my fave and cant wait to come back for another one.

DISCLAIMER: NOT ENOUGH WORD COUNT TO COVER THE WHOLE STORY ON GOOGLE REVIEWSLet me start by saying this, I hope no one gets fired from their job nor bullied for what happened to my friend and I here. I have never given 0 tip before today. I understand the food service world is stressful and backlogged to no end, but sometimes you have to draw a line when you get treated the way we did.My friend and I decide to go after work to eat here. It was my first time trying Gen KBBQ and he said it was a good place like the other ones we usually go to. I wait in line and get a waiting number, about 15 minutes no big deal. 15 minutes pass and suddenly on the yelp app, I go from 2nd party in line to 7th. At first I think thats fine, they mustve had a error or something and its 6pm on a Saturday. I shouldve known it was a red flag when we came in and they said that they gave our table to someone else and we either wait longer or go to the Bar. Honestly, I didnt see a difference if we were eating all-you-can-eat, so we decided to choose the bar. I found it weird that when we were seated, there was no menu given, but hey there were bartenders so one of them must be taking orders. My friend takes a call and leaves for about 5-7 minutes while Im just sitting there waiting to order. It doesnt hit me until I realize that once he gets back from that call, we still dont have a menu. My friend is able to wave someone down that turns out to be the hostess/manager? They get our menu from the front desk (Now that I think about it, this implies that there wasnt anyone designated to serve our party). I didnt think anything of it at the time because you know, its Saturday night rush at a popular dinery. So we finally get our menu and it takes maybe 5ish minutes before someone even talks to us to order our food. The guy that takes our order said it was his first week, so I didnt hold anything against him for not knowing off the bat what we wanted/ordered. The first batch we ordered took the standard amount of time, I didnt think anything of it as bad service. It was when we tried to order our second batch of food. We noticed that the bartender/waiter was swamped with checks near the front. Keep in mind, I think he did an AMAZING job for something he shouldnt be in charge of to begin with. He was a bartender, not a waiter. We managed to get his attention and order from the menu. From here is where things start going wrong. My friend and I are sitting there just chatting, noticing how busy the place is at the moment. It wasnt until another bartender walks up to us and asks if we wanted the grill off and our check that made us question the time we were waiting for a second batch of food. When it gets here, some of it is cold, and two orders werent even there. We sat and just talked about how long it was taking jokingly. But jokes turned to genuine anger the moment we tried to order our third batch of food. I can wholeheartedly say, with no exaggeration, that we waited about 25 minutes for someone to even ask if we ordered anything. The side eyes we got from the bartenders was astounding, granted we were starting to talk passive aggressive loudly about our whole ordeal. Near the end of the 25 minute wait it hit me, this place wasnt busy at all. The entire bar was empty besides my friend and I. Keep in mind ALL the chairs were filled at the start. Normally that wouldnt set anything off for me, but there were at least 5-6 bartenders just standing there doing NOTHING. Heck, even the manager/hostess just grabbed a drink for herself knowing we didnt get our order. Once I was able to flag her down later when she was serving food, I asked if we could get the check with our third batch since I just lost my appetite at this point. But, before I could even finish my sentence, she cuts me off and asks if they can turn off my grill to stop if from burning. So they douse our grill, and funny enough, they dont turn it back on.

U Grill Korean BBQ
12728 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
Overall, the food here was good compared to the many Korean BBQ restaurants Ive visited in northern Virginia. My family of six people visited this place and had to wait over an hour for a table. They do not offer table reservation options if its less than 24 hour notice. We knew the waiting time was quite long, but we visited the place to determine why all the hype. The food was delivered well, but it was difficult to get our waitress attention because the place was so loud. You need to use a megaphone to talk to your waitress! Even after we requested that the music get lowered, it did not happen. They tried really hard to set the mood like a night club and appeal to a younger crowd. But, it was way too dark inside and again, too loud. It was not worth the wait and will visit another Korean BBQ establishment in my next visit to the Fontana/Rancho Cucamonga area.

The Korean dogs are good but the wait is ridiculous. It’s like dinning at a restaurant

So I got home and my order was slightly incorrect. They had everything correct except for the fact that I ordered beef and I receive chicken. Normally that wouldnt be a big deal, but I hate chicken, chicken grosses me out because theyre such filthy animals but anyway, point being I called and let them know, I talked to a young lady named Alexis and she was incredibly helpful and they took care of fixing my order for me, and were also on top of everything when I came to pick it up. They have the exact number of sauces I wanted and everything. Sure mistakes can happen anywhere, thats just a fact of life, but it was refreshing to see a restaurant and also an employee be so courteous and helpful in fixing that mistake. I firmly believe this employee Alexis who Ive never met before, is probably a real asset to this company. And it was really nice to see them take care of thanks

I'm so first things first Iv always had good customer service there never had a single issue they are great.. but most importantly I'm saddened the food portions are minimal went in there today bought a regular chicken bowl that usually would feed both of my little girls it was a bowl and then some of mine. The chicken diced very small(cooks are all different but seems like the portions still smaller). I work construction so I'm all over the place and no matter what other flame broiler I go totally different good portions the chicken is meaty thick pieces. And (yes different locations different owners) but other places give you a chicken bowl deal. This flame broiler overall is charging little more (like everything else of course) but portions getting smaller. I live very close to this location and definitely will be making a farther drive.

K-Towne is a modern Korean restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. It’s our favorite place to eat authentic Korean food. The food is so good. Specially, we always eat Beef Bugolgi Fries, Beef / Chicken Rice Bowl and Kimchi when we come here to eat Korean food. The ambience of this restaurant is also nice. The overall service is good. The waiters are polite, helpful, and friendly. The price seems affordable so far.

This place is amazing! It literally is the Best of the Best Quality (BBQ). Lots of parking, the building and center is clean and nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are two dining areas with two different feels. The main side is very nice and modern. Menu screens are east to read and the have printed menus as well. The right side of the restaurant has a playful lounge vibe. Big long bar with TVs that you can play video games on, they will be selling beers soon so that will be fun. Couches and chairs, lots of seating and great lighting as well as natural light. A lot of great decor. The food is is amazing. Chicken wings are by far the best in the area. Light and crunchy exterior and really juicy inside with light seasoning. Several types to choose from with both bone and boneless options. Chicken sandwiches are phenomenal! Big and big on flavor and texture. The fried chicken is also as good as the wings. But the breading is more light and crispy. The secret spicy chicken is a must! Get the half and half so you can enjoy both. They also have Korean dishes and other dishes that I can only imagine are just as great as the ones Ive already tried.
