From the moment I stepped into the vibrant and inviting atmosphere of this establishment, I knew I was in for a memorable culinary journey.Upon being seated, our server Mahmout warmly greeted us with a genuine smile, setting the tone for the outstanding service that awaited us throughout the evening. Mahmouts attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were truly commendable. He graciously guided us through the extensive selection of meats, marinades, and traditional side dishes, ensuring we had an authentic and unforgettable Korean BBQ experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the high-quality meats presented to us. Each cut was incredibly fresh and marinated to perfection, resulting in tender, juicy, and flavorful barbecued delights. We reveled in the interactive nature of Korean BBQ as Mahmout expertly grilled the meats right at our table, creating an engaging and immersive dining experience. The restaurants commitment to authenticity was evident in every aspect of our meal. The side dishes, known as banchan, were beautifully presented and included an array of traditional Korean flavors, ranging from kimchi to pickled radishes. These accompaniments perfectly complemented the main dishes, adding depth and variety to our culinary adventure. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was captivating. The tasteful décor, infused with elements of Korean culture, transported us to the bustling streets of Seoul. All Koreans should go here when they are tired of American food. You can experience Korean-style charcoal grilling. The taste of my homeland that I miss?? Take care of your health with appropriate vegetables, rice, and non-fried meat. You can enjoy a healthy meal with the right amount of vegetables, rice, and meat. Both the owner and the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean as well!

The menu has fantastic choices when it comes to Korean comfort food. Got the sweet and spicy fried chicken, seafood jjamppong, spam musubis and cheese tteokbokki. Everything was amazing with great seasoning. The ingredients were fresh, and had some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The restaurant is located inside of a food court, and is run by a friendly Korean-American couple. Highly recommend this spot, will be coming back often!
Wang Cho BBQ All You Can Eat
3608 S Bristol St, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
My friend and I decided to try out this restaurant for the first time. Ive been to many different Korean BBQ places before, but I have to say that I was really let down by the service, food, and cleanliness of this particular restaurant. It felt like a sit, order, eat, and leave kind of place. We had to cook our own food, which is not what Im used to. Usually, at the other Korean BBQ places Ive been to, the servers or waitresses would cook the food for us, especially if it was our first time, to ensure we had the best experience. But that wasnt the case here. The servers and waitresses didnt engage in any small talk or check in on us to try and establish a connection with the customers. The meat was just okay, but the stew was completely tasteless. It felt like I was eating watered-down stew instead of something flavorful (we ordered the tofu stew and another item). And dont even get me started on the state of the bathrooms. They were so dirty that it almost made me sick. Almost every toilet was clogged, except for one. I understand that the restaurant was busy and short-staffed, but its important to regularly and frequently check and clean the restrooms, as well as ensure that the toilets are working properly. If they couldnt fix the issue, they should have at least put up a sign or notice saying that the bathroom was closed.Overall, for our first time at this restaurant, we were extremely disappointed with how we were treated, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor quality of the food. Thankfully, one of the managers gave us a discount, but it will be difficult for us to give this place another chance. We were truly shocked and left feeling very disappointed.

Make sure you thoroughly check your food when eating! I found hair inside the mozarella and wrapped around the outside. I went to show the manager or owner and he tried to make it seem like it was the corn hair. It was black and curly, no way thats the corn. He then proceeded to say I dont see the evidence, I dont see it and he used the stick to basically try to hide it. I found it for him and pointed it out and told him there is no way this is just corn husk and said it loud enough for everyone around me in line to hear it. Only until then could he see it and proceed to say oooh I see it, I can make you a new one to which I said no, I dont want one and he offered a refund. Had I been someone else, he would have gaslight me until I said forget it. Horrible! They should all be wearing hairnets if cooking food and no one is.

Decided to give the new Korean restaurant in Anaheim Hills a try and it did not disappoint! I definitely found my new go to place when Im craving authentic Korean food. I was so hungry and the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures, but I definitely recommend the chicken jeon, pork albap, and galbi (make sure to specify if you want it cooked medium rare or well done, whatever your heart desires). The banchan here is good too (a good sign that the other food will be good). Considering I came during their 2nd day of soft opening, the service was great! Definitely will be back here often.
Shaken Rice
2509 S Broadway, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
Shaken Rice is an online kitchen that is quickly gaining popularity in the area. The concept is simple: they take traditional Korean dishes and give them a modern twist. The result is a delicious and unique dining experience that is sure to please everyone.I was still blown away by the food. I ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice, which was made with perfectly cooked rice, kimchi, and a variety of vegetables. The kimchi was really flavorful and the fried rice was perfectly seasoned. I also ordered the Bulgogi Beef Bowl, which was made with tender beef, rice, and vegetables in a sweet and savory sauce. The beef was cooked perfectly and the sauce was really flavorful. The food at Shaken Rice is absolutely delicious, but thats not all that makes this restaurant special. The customer service is also excellent. They really go out of their way to make sure that you have a great on-the-go dining experience.I ordered my food through Grubhub and it arrived hot and fresh within 30 minutes. The packaging was also very well done, which helped to keep the food from getting soggy.Overall, I had a really amazing experience with Shaken Rice . The food was delicious, the customer service was excellent, and the value was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and flavorful dining experience.
Burger Point (Southgate)
2615 Santa Ana St, South Gate, CA 90280, United States
BEST MUSHROOM BURGER I’VE HAD IN LAI didn’t expect a little spot in South Gate would be THIS GOOD! It’s really good. The burger has the best mushroom smell ever and all the fillings are super FULL.I had fried chickens as side (Korean honey glazed) and the outside was SUPER crispy. Not many restaurants could do it like this. MADE MY MORNING OMG!The milkshake is also worth a try. It’s very thick and delicious + surprisingly not too sweet (very impressed lol). It was sweet though, but just not too much that hurts my throat, something like that.
