My parents and I have been coming to Kenzo Sushi since I was a little girl and we love it! Everything on the menu is amazing and the customer service is amazing! The fish is always super fresh and also tastes amazing, especially the salmon and tuna. It's nice because if you get the salmon sashimi (which is what I always get) it has a nice lemony tang because of the lemon garnish on the side and the ramen is also really good. I always get the vegetable ramen and there is always so much noodles, which I love! If you get hot sauce on the side of your ramen bowl, let me tell you, it gets spicy. Their Mochi ice cream is also really good, especially the green tea one. For rolls I would recommend the Americano Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Hurricane Roll. And my mom always gets the seaweed salad which is also really good if your into that kind of thing. For appetizers, the combo vegetable tempura is really good and the Gyoza's and you always have to get a side of the edaname because there be no point in eating sushi if you didn't have that. I'm going to be sad when I move away from Yuba City because I already know what kind of sushi I like here and chances are I won't find it anywhere else, but at least it will give me an excuse to come down here more often? anyways, I hope whoever is reading this will try Kenzo's because if you are in Yuba City this is definitely a place you need to try! It is amazing and a great experience!

Ive been eating here regularly for 17 years (since the day it opened). There are so many excellent, and highly varied, choices on the menu that it never gets old-- plus the owners are wonderful, caring people. I love all of the Asian dishes-- and Ive had all of them. The Sushi is excellent (Bruce used to be a bay area sushi chef-- the sushi is 100% fresh made and perfect every time); the bulgoki and Kim Chee are wonderful (the Kim Chee is homemade and the best you will ever have), the spicy pork is comfort food. The American side of the menu is great too-- terrific cheesesteak, BLTA, fries, etc. Even the Ice Tea is a cut above, and really enjoyable. For breakfast, they have all the diner favorites, as well as a few unique dishes. Great coffee. Prices are very reasonable, particularly given the quality. This little unassuming diner/café is really the best restaurant in town.

Nice busy atmosphere! Classic sports bar/restaurant. Plenty of TVs everywhere. Excellent food, friendly service. Prices are slightly elevated but worth every bite. The Korean bbq wings and garlic fries are to die for. So grab a choice beer, ale, or stout and enjoy yourself.
Sushi Ichiban

The food here is alright, I would not say great. But there are only two sushi restaurants in the area since the one on Plumas Ave. burned down. The reason I come here is the chicken they use on their Beto Boxes is very good compared to Kenzos. The chicken that Kenzo uses is very tough while Ichibans is very tender. But the owner is something else. If you are waiting there trying to make a to-go order she will finish doing what she is doing, no matter how long it takes before taking your order. And she never smiles while taking the order. Dont expect them to bag your order if it is only in one container. I dont know how many times I have to ask for my food to be put on a bag. And I not talking about a small container either. If the owner would be a little friendlier I would give a couple of more stars.Update:So, I call right when they open and no one answers the phone just a busy signal. I keep calling during lunch time and then mid-day too but to no avail. It must have been a weekend since I was calling even in the middle of the day. Around dinner same thing, just a busy signal all day long. About 45 minutes before closing I decide to head to the restaurant instead. As I am getting ready to go inside Inotice a group of 7 or 8 go inside and I follow afterwards. I go to the front desk and say I want to make an order to go. Well, guess what response I get? We are not making to go orders because we are behind and cannot help you. So, you can seat a table of 7 or 8 people and that is not too large of an order but my order for one person would be too much for your staff to handle? I assume because I was not a dine in customer with no gratuity to leave I am shunned. Hey, just my assumption so dont hate, ok? The waitress just said sorry and I walked out without saying anything. Ill keep the one star review in place since they could not accommodate my one person order. Oh, that particular day Kenzo was doing the same thing, not answering their phone either.

Majority of the 5 star reviews for this restaurant are fake. If you go to the reviewers profiles. Their either set to private or they all have the same reviews for the same businesses.I ordered the pho. It was ok. The broth was a little to sweet for me. There was a lot of protein. The basil and the bean sprouts seemed like they were old. Basil was already turning yellow. Not the best pho for the Yuba-Sutter area. Best pho is on the marysville side. The spring rolls was ok. Lots of noodles tho. The vermicelli bowl was also ok. Would of been better if there was more sauce. The egg roll that came in it was small and burnt.Will give this place one more chance in the future and maybe if it improves. Will probably change the rating.

POSITIVES: 5 STARS for the delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, and great customer service!!!! BEST grilled chicken weve ever had in Yuba City! And I am now IN LOVE with the original milk tea thanks to Pho Cali! My family loved their coconut milk tea and honeydew milk tea. We ordered their rice plates with grilled chicken and beef which in our opinion, have a much better Asian vegetable medley than Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. Pho Cali served us at our table and gave us complimentary cups of ice water. I wish we could give them more stars because they were so nice and what we ordered was so amazingly good, BUT we have to be honest about our issues.PROBLEMS: pork in a lot of the dishes leaves even fewer dishes to choose from for the many people in this area that CANT EAT PORK, HUGE disappointment on top of Pho Calis already slim selection of dishes. Also the single bathroom needs improvement, no air conditioning, the meat portions are very small for the price you pay compared to the Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. No fountain drinks, only a few flavors of canned soda for $2.50 each which is crazy.

Worst experience and customer service ever! If I could give no stars I would!. We came to the yuba city wingstop location for a celebration dinner after passing my state boards. Ordered our food at 8:21 PM and at 9pm we were unhappy about not getting our food on time. We asked the employee how long it would be for our food to come she ignores us and starts helping the next customer who is also complaining. We get a response eventually stating its being made so we ask the employee to charge us for the drinks we had and refund our money. She says she cannot the food is being made. We said we have been waiting since 8:21pm it is now 9 we want our money back. She pulls out the reciept and says the promise time for our food was 8:38pm and that the wait on top of that is 35 mins. We told her nobody conveyed these times to us we would like our money back and to charge us for the drinks. She walks away and I tell my husband this wait time thing is stupid and someone should have informed us. She comes running from the back saying you called me stupid Im not refunding your money back. I told her I didnt call her stupid I called this wait time system of having a promise time and then on top an additional 35 min wait time stupid. She then states no you called me stupid I could have returned your money back today but now Im not going to you have to come back in the morning. We said no we dont have time to come in the morning give it now. She calls her store manager off her cell phone and states we wont leave and informs us that her manager said to come in the morning. We ask for the managers contact number, to speak to him or her personally, which we are not given. We asked to speak off her cell phone then since the manager was on the line she refused to let us do that too but instead in front of all the other customers she puts the manager on speaker for everyone and the manager without asking any questions says come in the morning we cannot issue a refund right now. The girl then after hanging up says if you dont leave Im going to call the cops. So that annoyed us more the bad customer service, not getting our food and then being threatened of the cops so we said fine call the cops. We sat there and waited for the cops. While waiting the employees boyfriend came and spoke with us too. He was friendly and nice he even asked the girl to give us our refund after asking what happened and she pretty much told him no as well. The cops said they couldnt do much but they were able to get us our reciept back. I called customer service who seemed friendly but I will never go to a wingstop again. I still dont have my refund. Had no food and instead just bad customer service and mad attitude. We decided to take our business to buffalo wild wings and from the moment we entered to the moment we left it was nothing but smiley faces and good customer services. I work retail too I dont call my husband when I have issues with customers and if wing stop can immediately charge me they can refund me my money too especially when I didnt get my food!! There was never no apology. Just tons of attitude. On top having to deal with cops when all we wanted was a decent meal for a celebration! Never going back and would recommend you dont either!
