Lee Mangu Noodle

After trying their food several times from grocery shopping, I can definitely say the food is NOT that good.. especially their Jajangmyeon. Its tasteless even with all the sauce IMO. I cant touch the food here even if Im in the brink of starvation. ☹️

This place is a good place for gamers and also the food were really good but still need to add more foods!! Also the noodle I think the shop should add an egg on it, it will make it perfectly. Just saying the truth!!!

Orange Blossom The Oriental Kitchen
6980 Beach Blvd ste H303 3RD FLOOR, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
Delicious! Went to the source for the first time for a movie at CGV and decided to get dinner. First off, we went on a weekend and the entire shopping plaza was pretty empty. Orange Blossom ended up catching our eye! The pad Thai was amazing. They used a different noodle than i am used too. But it was some of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Service was great too!

Pho N Mor (Buena Park)
7941 Beach Blvd ste e, Buena Park, CA 90620, United States
I ate the whole bowl of pho before I realized that I forgot to take a picture to do a review on this place. When my cousin and I enter this pho place, its has a really nice vibes. There was a really nice hand-drawing art on the wall as well. Kevin was the server who seated us. We both ordered the pho tai bo vien, and I specific ordered a side of rib. The foods arrived approximately 5 minutes because we came almost till their closing time (thank god they let us in). The bowl of pho gave such a nice aroma, the broths taste great, and the meats was tender. I ate my pho with the side of hoisin sauce, sriracha, sate, and lime to make the perfect balance of dipping sauce to dip the meat into. I recommend anyone who hasn't come here to give it a try for yourself because I totally love it, and finished the whole bowl in less than 15 minutes.

Ramen & Tsukemen TAO
10488 Valley View St, Buena Park, CA 90620, United States
Found a tsukemen ramen shop that didnt require driving down to Little Tokyo. Ramen & Tsukemen Tao had four stars and several positive reviews from my Yelp buddies. Ive never tried tsukemen dipping ramen before and knew it existed during my visits to Daikokuya, but I automatically go with their delicious bowl of tonkatsu ramen. I was curious about the method of dipping the cold noodles to the miso soup, and four stars with several positive reviews from my Yelp buddies, I gave it a try.The miso tsukemen ($11.15) came with a slice of chasu pork, chopped onions, bamboo shoots, and a lime slice. Also included inside the plastic bowl was a tiny container of water so that if you want to enjoy the meal inside your car, you will use the water to separate and untangle the noodles. Hahaha correct me if Im wrong; this was my first tsukemen experience. Added the soft-boiled ajitama/egg (+ $1.50) with the runny yolk and went with a large size (+ $2). Also included are three small containers with garlic, seaweed flakes, and shichimi (Japanese spice mixtures).Their signature miso soup is thick, rich, creamy, and oily. You gotta dip your fat noodles into it, and no way can you gulp down the miso soup like the tonkatsu broth because itll be overwhelming. Although the miso broth is half full in the container, it was more than enough to finish the noodles with plenty of broth leftover. The chashu don ($3.50) or the pork rice bowl is a nice add-on. Itll go well with the sriracha sauce or by itself. The shop has outdoor tables set up. Order at their website for take-outs to avoid the surcharge by going through a third-party online food ordering platform.

jincook
8890 Valley View St A, Buena Park, CA 90620, United States
Craving some good and authentic Korean food, I found my way back to Jin Cook and as usual, it did not let me down.ITEMS ORDERED:Sweet Potato Cheese Curry KatsuSpicy Braised Beef Short RibGarlic SuYukMilitary SoupTASTE:Let me first mention that Im half Korean to add some credibility to my review :) ;) I will say that the Kimchi here is probably my favorite out of all places. That is mainly because it has a slightly sweeter flavor and less sour than others that usually have that more pickled flavor. I was told that its the owners mothers recipe so that just makes it all the better. The Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib aka Galbi-jjim is a dish Ive had before and is one of those flavors that just wants to make you keep on eating. The only thing that slows you down is how hot it is with it being in the stone pot. Its so savory, a little sweet and has a slight amount of heat. I will say that I do have a good tolerance for spicy food though. Besides the meat which is so tender, I really enjoy the pumpkin and rice cakes in the dish. Unless you are with 3 or more people, youll most likely have leftovers.Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu is a unique variation that I dont think Ive seen at other places. Theres a subtly sweetness that goes well with the cheese, pork, and crunch. Be careful when you take your first bite, it comes out and stays very hot.The Military Soup is one of those really comforting soups thatll make you feel good if youre under the weather. Its actually pretty spicy so be warned. The pork belly that came had a real nice flavor that adds to the dish overall. It was my first time having the Garlic SuYuk and its as tasty as it is to look at. The pork is cooked perfectly and the garlic paste that it comes with has so much savory flavor, with the right amount of salt. I could really see this garlic paste tasting good on so many other dishes in general. The chili paste is not really hot but provides a slight chili flavor adding to everything else.SERVICE:The service was exceptional. Getting all the warm Korean welcoming vibes at this place just adds to the comfort food feel. They were really friendly and attentive the whole time.LOCATION & PARKING:They are basically located in a shopping plaza with an Albertsons so there is lots of parking. The interior is very comfy and warm with its abundant wood use making for a welcoming ambiance. If you are craving some delicious Korean cuisine you should definitely check this place out.

Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai - Buena Park
7550 Orangethorpe Ave E300, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
This. Is. My. Favorite. Ramen. Shop. Ever.Ive gone multiple times, driving one and a half to two hours just to go and come back home cause it is just that good.As an appetizer for the table, I typically order the gyoza and takoyaki, and both satisfy. I order the Large Chashu Ramen, which comes with 13 pieces of sliced chashu, bamboo shoots, and green onion. I add an egg for additional cost, but well worth it. The curly noodles have a wonderful chewy texture and are very easy to pick up with your chopsticks. The broth is amazing. Unlike typical tonkatsu broth which is cloudy, their broth is clear and very very flavorful. The word that comes to mind when I think about it is refreshing. The chashu is also amazing and compliments the soup, being tender and having a distinct flavor (due to their secret marinade). It can get busy, but the wait is worth it. They have the text when ready system, so if the wait is 30 minutes to an hour, you can do some shopping at the nearby Target. Also, they will not seat you unless your entire party is there. You can find parking quite easily since it is in a shopping center, just gotta walk a little bit.Overall, Kitakata Ban Nai is the standard with which I use to compare to other ramen shops
