Tasty Noodle House
2947 Chino Ave #3, Chino Hills, CA 91709, United States
Went to this restaurant on a whim when my partner & I were hungry for dumplings but didnt want to trek to DTF. Our other dumpling & soup backup joint was also about 20 mins away and this place popped up on our Yelp search within a 3 min drive from our location at the time. Winner! When we arrived this place had all of 4 tables with people, which didnt bode well. What were we I. For? But, as we ordered and got served, more people showed up and the place was buzzing (hmm, did the foodie bus make a stop?). We ordered 4 types of dumplings: pork soup, vegetable Shanghai style, bread-like pork, pan fried fish. Neither of us was disappointed with the baos; and the vinegar dipping used at this place is different, but not horrible. I like my vinegar strong and tangy, their version was mild, but worked. We had noodles with shrimp--rather tasty & shrimp was deveined/clean (yay). We had a chicken with veggie dish in a dark sauce, not quite what we had expected but yummy nonetheless. We had plenty of leftovers overs for lunch (winning). The service was average, one of the servers checked in on us before ordering to see if we needed help with selection, but she realized we got it handled. The value for the food was fair, we even had leftovers for 2 people, which means we were able to get 2 meals out of the price for one dinner. Moola maximus! Overall, for a local joint this was good; considering that as little as 3 years ago Chino Hills wasnt know as the mecca of dining, but there are better options these days, and this is one of them. Well be returning to try more of their offerings, and ordering up more of their thirst quenchin fruit flavored iced teas.

The ladies serving were super nice but it was hard at first because they dont speak much English and I dont speak Chinese!!! I had the wonton in spicy sooup plus the house noodle....hand cuts. Cant wait to go back and try other items.
California Noodle & Grill
3808 Grand Ave Suite D, Chino, CA 91710, United States
Ordered to go. They told me 5 to 10 minutes. 30 minutes passed by and they told me another 5-10 minutes while everyone else that is not a to go order is getting thier food. Even sit in customers that came 15 minutes after me were already getting thier food. I had to spend my lunch time waiting and not enough time to eat since i had to go back to work. There was a couple of other people waiting for to go as well and didnt look nor sound happy with the service. One a food delivery driver said he had been already waiting over 30 minutes when i got there. Which he left without the order because they kept telling him the same thing they were telling me.From my oberservations (and this is not the first time) they push to go orders to the side and prioritize sit in customers first. I dont see that as fair as we are also thier customers . They dont have an equal flow of a serving system. A bit further from my job but Ill stick to pho grand on grand ave and wont be coming here any longer. These guys cant set the right expectations to their to go customers and favor sit in customers over to go customers. So beware your order will be pushed to the side (who knows how long because they dont) if you order to go or delivery.
THE LOCAL Thai Chino Hills

We found this new place and randomly decided to have dinner there. The host, Mary, was super friendly and warm. She made wonderful suggestions and was very welcoming. She mentioned that the pigeonwings flower tea changes colors from blue to purple when you add lemon to it and decribed how it tastes like. The service was fast, the presentation of the food was lovely and the restaurant was clean and relaxing. They had pictures of all their food items displayed in order to help us make our choice. We ordered the volcano chicken (they had lit it on fire at our table, the crust of the chicken was crisp and had a mild sweetness to it and the chicken was soft and juicy on the inside), the mussaman beef stew (the beef was juicy and tender and the stew felt like a comfort food, it was creamy and delicious but slightly heavy due to the peanut base so come with an appetite!), and the pigeonwings flower iced tea (mildly sweet and sour, and delicious, beneficial for cognition and stress relief).. I would definitely visit again.

Recently was my first time visiting this store, and I had a great time! The owner welcomed me and asked if it was my first time, which made the whole experience feel unique from the start. As soon as I told him it was true, he kindly gave me a quick tour of their many services. The quick tour really helped me get around quickly, so I could start shopping right away. At the register, they were still being friendly by offering to let me try some of their delicious sweets. The taste I tried was divine, and it was the right way to end my shopping trip. The atmosphere of the store was great. They paid great attention to detail in their service and the quality of their goods was great. I already cant wait for my next visit to see more of what they have to offer. Their great customer service and wide range of high-quality items have made me a regular customer.Would definitely suggest others to come visit.
YGF Malatang
3626 Grand Ave Unit M, Chino Hills, CA 91709, United States
Update: we've returned and the meat selections looked and tasted a lot better than our last visit. Maybe we just caught a wrong day for beef and lamb. I also tried the fish and it was pretty good. The intestines were really good today. We even tried the beef skewers and they were okay. This is a popular place for spicy Szechuan specialty food. Malatang literally means numbing & spicy scalding hot. As you can see from its name, this is not a place for faint of heart. You pick the ingredients from a salad bar styled counter and then the staff would weigh it. It's $13.99 per pound. Then they will cook it for you in your choice of soup base: classic spicy peppery flavor (Ma-la or black pepper and red pepper/ medium to very spicy), beef bone broth (mild to medium spiciness) and tomato based non/spicy flavor. The vegetable selections were fresh and lots of variety, the beef and lamb options were not very good as they were pretty tough to chew. The pork intestines were fine, but not great. The meatballs and fish cakes were pretty good. The beef and lamb slices were below average and only a few pieces left when we visited, so not sure if the meat is always like that or we just csme in late for lunch and they ran out the good stuff. So, a 5-star for the veggies and a 3-star for the meat. We didn't try the fish filets, but will do so on our next visit. The service was very friendly and excellent, though we did have to wait a while due to several Uber orders they had to take care of first. This is a good option for fresh spicy food and we no longer have to drive to Rowland Heights for malatang. Note: be aware of 5-star ratings here as it offers free drinks for 5-star reviews, I am quite weary of this type of reviews as think that would affect the veracity of the reviews. Also, in general you won't find the non-spicy option at a malatang restaurant, but here in Chino Hills a non-spicy option was created for the gringo crowd. It's worth a try if you've never had malatang or just tang if you don't like spiciness or numbness from your food.
Uminoya Ramen
5420 Philadelphia St c, Chino, CA 91710, United States
Im sorry, but I have no idea why this place was rated 4.9 stars on Google. We came on a Wednesday night for the first time with a party of 4, including 2 kids at about 7 p.m.We went up to order our ramen dishes and a pork fried rice dish, but we were told not to order the fried rice because it would take much longer than the ramen, so we did not get to buy it even though we wanted it. They said that because there was no indoor seating available, it was takeout only, and it would be about 15 min to be ready. Fine, we dont live far, so it was no big deal. We ended up waiting 60 minutes for our food with exceedingly cranky and hungry kids. And while we were waiting for our food, 7 parties came, ordered their food, got their food, and had left!Prepare to end up waiting a very long time for your food with no apologies and a very upsetting experience.

Real Thai food Extremely spicy flavor which has never been encountered in the USA beforeI ordered Padseeeew, Padkeemao, Stir-fried beef with basil topped with rice, topped with a real fried egg and Pad Thai.Every menu is very delicious. Even if they opened in Thailand next to Jay Fai and Thipsamai shops. (Both restaurants received Michelin) I believe that both restaurants will definitely shake things up.Real Thai food Extremely spicy flavor which has never been encountered in the USA beforeI ordered fried soy sauce. Legend Hot Chicken Restaurant
4200 Chino Hills Pkwy ste 315, Chino Hills, CA 91709, United States
Got the second highest spice level for the Legend Sando, got some tears out of me I do have a high spice tolerance. Good flavour and chicken was juicy, loved how soft the bun was and the crispiness. Would give the sandwich a 9/10 compared to other fried chicken sandwiches in the past. Mac and cheese came in a rammican, flavour was a 8/10 and it also came with a bit of their signature sauce. I prefer this sauce over many other fried chicken places, if added to sandwich it will help with the heat, be sure to grab some. Employees were helpful and informative on how much longer. Overall for a first day open they did well and exceed my expectations.
The Shop Pro Scooter Lab

My experience at this shop was awesome!! I was looking for a good starter scooter so I can work up to custom scooters and the employees were so helpful in choosing a scooter that was best for me. There were limited options but overall I got just the scooter! And the awesome thing is If i need to dial or tighten my scooter, they'll do it for free! I would definitely recommend for any rider looking for a good starter scooter because the employees will help a lot!!
