Thai Time Cuisine
330 N Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I am very conflicted. I want to like it here. The food is good. The people are very nice. It is the service. Every time I order take out from here I have to wait. This last time was unacceptable. They told me 45 minutes for pick up. I got there and paid and they told me they were still making my food. I waited for literally an hour after that just to have them tell me at the end that they ran out of noodles for one of my dishes. I dont know what to say. There was a line of people waiting with me. The kitchen is obviously very mismanaged. They tried to make it right by giving me free soup and tea. They should have just told me how far they were behind before I paid and given me the opportunity to cancel my order. I am unsure if I will be back. Again, I want to like this place, but waiting 2 hours for food when they tell you 45 minutes and then not communicating with you is not good business.
The Cajun Crab
520 W Lambert Rd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
We ordered the crab and shrimp combo bag, the garlic edamame, the ramen, chicken tenders and fries, 2 mechaladas and a strawberry smoothie with strawberry popping pearls.Let me begin by saying this is a brand new place and I understand that they're probably working out the kinks, but the ordering system is kind of confusing not just for me as the customer but apparently for the staff as well. There were only two employees when we at their 6:20 pm Wednesday evening. Unless you have a solid 2 hours to go and have dinner this probably isn't a place for you.The food was average which was disappointing because my bill was close to 200$ it had potential but the sauce had way too much of a sweet tatter, the garlic was extremely raw and I'm sorry but raw garlic is a vary unappealing taste, the edamame wasn't cleaned properly it was covered in that fuzzy film on the outer layer and unfortunately the chicken tenders were way over cooked and tasted just like the oil it was fried in. The 2 employees seemed nice enough when I seen them the couple of times but they were extremely overwhelmed and it showed. Which I did find odd because we were the only people there at the time (myself and two small kids). The worst part was we had ordered a smoothie with popping pearls and it literally took 50 minutes and it was made incorrectly. I might return but I'm going to definitely wait a few months so hopefully that will allow them to work out the kinks and not serve people raw garlic.

Feu Noodle Bar

I’ve been following this restaurant for a while now so my friend and I made our way there after doing some shopping on a Sunday afternoon. We both had the egg rolls and garlic noodles with grilled hanger steak. The egg rolls were excellent. The noodles were good; the steak was tender and well cooked (medium). Service was friendly and attentive. I want to come back to try the pho; it looked really good.
Higo Chicken
722 E Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
This place is phenomenal! Stopped here on a whim after getting a haircut locally, and what a good decision that was! The place is clean and the service outstanding. Karina was such a great host, very attentive and nice. Since this was my first time, went for the Lomo Saltado. It didnt take long for the hot plate to come. The flavors were all on point, just as perfect as it could be. Very large portion but I finished it (mama would have been proud)They have 2 sauces tableside: a jalapeño-based aioli and a huacatay sauce. Both were incredibly flavorful, with the huacatay being spicier. I wanted to take the bottles with me, but that would have been rude (but I would have been totally justified).Ill definitely come back with the family and order everything else. A must stop if you are in the area.
Chinatown Express
375 E Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I work down the street from here for a local school and wanted to treat my students to an end of the year luncheon.I had read reviews of Chinatown Express and decided to stop in and inquire.I explained what I needed (a tray to feed 10-12 people) and we started chatting. The restaurant doesn't open until 2:30 but I needed food for 11 am. When the owner found out it was for a school function, she immediately offered to help. What came next blew my mind. She and her husband would come in early just to make fresh food for my students. Not only that, she offered a HUGE discount and threw in so much extra. She then gave me a container of food to take home to taste everything. The next day, I came with a student to pick up the food. I was shocked to see four heaping containers of food all steaming hot. When I reminded her I only ordered one tray, she said that she and her husband wanted to give back to the community and give to a good cause. The food was delicious. I don't think I've ever had such fresh food from a restaurant ever.I can't rave enough about this business. Very few places nowadays serve quality food. But what made this place stand out was the customer service and their generosity. As many business owners know, it's hard to keep a small business profitable. It was clear that this restaurant made little money on my order, but their desire to give back to the community surpassed any type of greed.I highly recommend this business and I wish nothing but the best for the owners, who deserve success!
Smoke and Fire Social Eatery
1327 W Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
I dont know where to start... Most of you probably saw this on Tik Tok and decided to try it out like me and my girl did. We were looking forward to this all week. We were finally able to make it out there on a Saturday. Like most places these days there is a line outside due to Covid. I have to give credit where its due, their line was moving along fast. I think there was 30 people or so, in front of us when we got in line. Took about 20 minutes to get to the register and place our order. Great organization of a line to get you in and out so you are not waiting long. Now for the reason I only gave it 2 stars. Like most of you you probably want to try the delicious looking version of the McRib. Get to the register and they inform us that they are sold out of the McRib. Why not put a sign out front that says they are sold out so people can decided if they still want to wait in line or not. We brushed it off and decided to they their Smash burger, pretzel, and criss cross fries. Criss cross fries amazing, Smash burger was OK nothing special just a regular smash burger. Their pretzel and cheese was such a disappointment. The pretzel was cold and chewy, the cheese they give you for the pretzel was cold and the amount they gave you was very little. You are left with half a cold chewy pretzel when you are done with your cheese. In conclusion: My tip for you guys that want to try the McRib. Go in and ask if they are sold out of the McRib before you wait in line . You want a pretzel with cheese? Ask for double cheese and have them warm it up before they bring it out to you.P.S. They have some awesome art ?
Cuzcos Peruvian Restaurant
1458 S Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
It was a slow service. I cant blame them. These times, its hard to find real workers, and you get the greatness of the owners hands-on expertise. This food was delicious and authentic flavors. With a lot of peruvian restaurants we have tried, because my wife is peruvian she hears of her people restaurants and she has to go. This one, I would say, is by far the best authentic place Ive been to. No, I do not know anyone here. I did not order my plate here, but I picked at my daughters plate and my wifes, I got some pho next door in fear I may have some mediocre peruvian food. Well, I was wrong. Im just saying. Its a real quick wait for parking. But this place in its integrity ? ? ? ? ✨️ ❤️ was pleasing. They have a Chai place I tried. Noodle bar, and peruvian. I was definitely pleased. Ill be coming back 1 day. ? when Im around. It was worth the 20 minutes out of the way from our route.
Ultramen Japanese Restaurant Sushi & Ramen
159 E Imperial Hwy, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
To start, we immediately noticed something was off because the restaurant is supposed to be Japanese but the owner was Korean, and the lanterns hung up said “ramen” in Chinese (拉麵 lamian), not Japanese (羅麺 or ラーメン). I'm aware that just because someone is Korean does not mean they don't do a different food well (ex. many sushi restaurants are owned by Koreans and they're amazing), but the other factors just made the restaurant seem like it was thrown together assuming Americans wouldn't notice because we don't know any better. That aside, the second red flag is that the menu has soooo many fusion items. Sushi tacos, sushi burritos, to name a few. It was a big read flag but we decided to still give the restaurant a shot.Honestly, the food is pretty whack. We ordered tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen, egg rolls, and gyoza. The tonkotsu ramen tasted like it's heated from a pack. The noodles were good but the broth was very basic with much to be desired. It was okay. Definitely nothing to write home about and not worth coming back for.The spicy miso ramen tasted like they got the tonkotsu broth, and added a gochujang/miso mixture to it… it was really not good at all and I didn't even finish it.The eggrolls were free and tasted like they were from Dollar Tree (which may explain why they're free if you check in on Yelp). They taste exactly like the ones from Panda Express, if you know those. The gyoza was probably the best part of the meal but that isn't saying much. The filling was actually very good, and you could taste the ginger. The weird thing is that they don't offer it to be deep fried or pan fried… it only comes deep fried. This gives the exterior a hard texture that isn't super desirable when it comes to gyoza.Soooo… to put it shortly, I don't think I could ever truly recommend this place to anyone. They would do a lot better if they tried to specialize really well into one thing instead of trying to have a ton of things but not really anything actually good. Also, if they're gonna be a Japanese restaurant… be a Japanese restaurant. Don't have lanterns written in Chinese ?

So many good stores to choose from and soo many organic and non gmo label foods to choose from! The Costco has those in bulk too! This is an area that is with the food movement toward healthy eating and lifestyle. I only eat organic label food so this does me really really good! The only thing this shopping center needs is a Whole foods.
300 Bowl Coffee Shop
370 E Whittier Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631, United States
This eatery is an unexpected fusion of old-school american diner and americanized chinese food. Thats right, you read that correctly.Expect huge portions and delicious ones at that.I had a BLT and it was fantastic. The bread expertly prepared and toasted, lettuce and tomato crisp and fresh as if just picked. Bacon was crisp and excess bacon grease was removed. The accompanying string fries were also fried perfectly and not greasy, and they filled the plate. I loved the meal.My cohort ordered sweet and sour pork and vegetable fried rice. Again the portion filled a family sized plate to overflowing. The sweet and sour was delicate and the fried pork top notch. The vegetable fried rice was spiced to flavourful excellence. The server was also great, friendly and efficient, but not intrusive. No, I am not related to anyone attached to the restaurant. It was just such a surprise and pleasure to eat there. I know this review is a bit of a gush.Highest recommendation.
