The owner of the store is very disrespectful and discriminating. He yelled at my mother who speaks little English because she wanted to try a vacuum there and wanted to make sure it works properly since there is a no return policy. After she noticed it let out a strong and odd odor she said she wouldnt be taking it, he yelled at her and said that she waisted his time and that she needs leave and to never return to his store. To this man that disrespected my mother, you should know better and understand that the customers are allowed to know what they are taking before they take it. You are there to provide good service to your clients. There is no need for aggression or for that disgusting behavior against an older woman. We will not be coming back here. A warning to others, this store doesnt care to provide good customer service or a little of decency or respect for their customers. How disgraceful and disappointing. .

Dude, I live in Orange County and would drive back here again for their Banh Mi Saigon sandwich!! It has to be in my top 3 favorite banh mi sandwiches!! For $5.69, its a decent sized sandwich with full of flavor from the saigon bacon that they use, along with pate and authentic Vietnamese mayo!! They knocked it out if the ballpark with this sandwich!! Best Vietnamese banh mi panorama city, best banh mi los angeles.they used fresh carrot and daikon, fresh cucumber, and their bread was different, light and soft, not so heavy or hard like lees sandwiches which hurt your upper inside palate of your mouth. This was the best sandwich for sure. Im going back soon. They practiced social distancing guidelines, and their service was so good!! The young guy went around and asked his customers if everything was okay and if they needed anything else. While waiting for my sandwich, he was helping another customer by explaining what they had on their menu and what they recommend. Excellent service! Super friendly with a smile on their faces!! Thanks for an A++++ experience and super delicious sandwich!!! 99

My first experience with Filipino Food. I had been apprehensive about trying as I always had the misconception that a lot of their food is deep fried. Was I mistaken. This small joint and a very helpful server- the sweetest high school girl, introduced me to some interesting foods. We had a juice from the fruit called Soursop. It was refreshing and had a sweet taste. Thanks to them I now know a new fruit!!We had the Tokwat Baboy...crispy Tofu served with a tangy sauce on top...LOVED IT.SOme noodles, Canton Guisido...enjoyed them. And last was Lumpia..deep fried pork spring rolls with a different kind of wrapper than regular spring rolls. It was delicious. This small place is hidden on the side alley of the strip mall. We are happy we tried it and grateful for the very helpful, courteous and prompt service.
ALDI
14626 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402, United States
Aldi is a supermarket initially from Germany. Theyre the parent company of Trader Joes. And the now defunct (I daresay unfortunately) Fresh & Easy.Theyve had markets in Los Angeles for a while. And I have heard nothing but great things about them. They opened a store in Panorama city on Thursday April 11th, 2019.I was able to get there for the grand opening. The place was Literally packed. But I tell you what.....the place was clean. The employees were amazingly nice. And were working really hard (I was thoroughly impressed. Aldi had their stuff together. And they must have really trained their people well.). The place was a bit larger than than the old Fresh & Easy chain was. But not quite as large as most regular markets are.Their selection of food items is very good. And their store brand items are amazingly good. (If I hadnt been a regular shopper at Fresh & Easy, I might have been a bit wary.). Their frozen food section has a great selection of items. As is their cooler section. For those of you who are into produce, it looked to be extremely fresh and of high quality. The prices are VERY competitive regardless of whether its store brand or name brand items. Not to mention they have home related items (coffee makers, etc.).The only real downsides were: 1) its a bit of a smaller store than Im used to. & B) the parking lot is a bit smaller than maybe it should have been.Regardless of the 2 above downsides, I will be shopping there regularly. I really like Aldi and what they have.
Thai Tasty
15023 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402, United States
Ive been coming here faithfully since before they changed owners a few years ago. The new owners made this place so much better and I always enjoy everything I get here.My most recent experience I ordered here because my brother-in-law was visiting from Colorado and my father-in-law was visiting from Arizona and we were having a family meal at my house. For appetizers we got two orders of Chicken Satay and the Thai Tasty Delight. My husband loves chicken satay so we always order it and in NEVER disappoints. The chicken is flavorful, tender, and the peanut sauce that comes with it is velvety and melts in your mouth! It was my first time trying the Thai Tasty Delight appetizer sampler and Im surprised Ive never gotten it before. I will now be ordering it more often! Great selection with items everyone loves. Egg rolls, gozoyas, the shrimp rolls were just what I was craving, and the cream cheese wraps were divine.Tonight we were in the mood for curry so for entrees we ordered the panang w/tofu and green curry with shrimp. The containers were filled to the brim and we dug right in before I had a chance to take any pictures! Both were amazingly flavorful. The panang had a decent balance of bell peppers to tofu with just the right amount of kick. The curry and coconut milk was a creamy balance of flavor. The green curry is my favorite and never disappoints. I love the flavor of their green curry and coconut milk with the sweet basil, bamboo shoots, bell peppers and green beans. This dish has it all! There was plenty of shrimp in the dish and the shrimp were prepared perfectly. All entrees come with a side of white rice. We also ordered fried rice with chicken. Their fried rice comes with your choice of meat for no extra charge and there is a good amount of veggies mixed in.Other dishes I have tried from here (I havent tried anything that wasnt good):Pad See Ew Gai (Chicken) - This is my go-to dish when I try a new Thai restaurant and theirs is THE best!Larb (Chicken Salad) This is probably my all-time favoriteDrunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mow)Prik KingTom Kha Soup - Ive tried both Gai and Koong (Chicken and Shrimp) I dream about their Tom Kha Soup, its heavenlyPineapple Fried Rice
Baan Thai

Furious! Too bad we love to come here but after yesterday, not too sure I will. I ordered our usual, watermelon smoothie along with other drinks and lots of food. The smoothie however tasted unusual, it had another flavor in it other than what it was supposed to be, watermelon. I complained about it and they said they didnt have any more that if I wanted a different flavor, we just stayed with it because the waitress was having a bit of an attitude already. Later I ended up seeing them serve their people a bran new watermelon smoothie. Well what got me mad was that my kids had to pay the price! My son of 4 threw up 2 times at night and so did my daugh3of 7. They better be careful before someone picks up something worse at their restaurant and they will be looking at a law suit there!. The food is great but, takes forever to have ready and no plate comes out together, you end up eating everything separately or eat some of your food cold to eat everything together.
Bamboo Bistro Filipino Comedy Karaoke Bar & Res...
8516 Van Nuys Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402, United States
Hello fellow foodies, not real enthused with this place, yet keeping it real once again....Came in for breakfast with the fam this morning after reading their reviews on Google and Yelp.Initially observed they could have turned up their airconditioner a bit, it would be more comfortable in there. Considering it was a hot and exceptionally humid morning that extra cooling would have been appreciated. In all fairness, the food was okay with particular emphasis and kudos on the thinly fried fish referred to as jeprox. Real satisfying with garlic rice. The longanisa was well seasoned and cooked quite well. Goes down real easy too.A little dissapointed with the preparation of their tocino, fried chicken, and adobo as they appeared undercooked and cold. Just couldnt handle more than two or three bites. (...however in the spirit of fairness, the food looked appetizing in the warmer.)I really believe once they get their act together, this place definitely has tremendous potential.I will give Bamboo Bistro another try in a few months, and trust that appropriate changes will be made to secure and lock in my business.See you guys then, I know you can do it guys! See you in a few months.Thank you!

The world renowned best Filipino fried chicken fast food. I recommend the fried chicken as regular or spicy then try it with the gravy sauce. The Burger steak with mushroom and gravy is also another favorite. Burgers and Jolly hotdog are good to try. The noodles and Spaghetti are inconsistent. Others like them and some dont. For me, the Palabok is bland and the Jolly Spaghetti is a hit or miss. The fries taste fatty compared to McDonalds. For the drinks, the pineapple juice is a crowd favorite. For dessert, the Peach mango pie is an OG. And as of 2021, the Taro pie has become a new favorite addition. As for food quality, the chicken has always been consistently crunchy, warm and tasteful. The staff were really nice and polite. They greet everyone and always have that lively manner. They ring your device when your order is ready. Then you get a vocal summary to ensure your order list is complete. Small detail but it happens everytime and you can just appreciate the effort of these hard working peeps. That goes to say, they are always busy. The bad: Parking is the worst. The parking lot is crowded, compact, disorganized and the guide lines are faded. Since this joint shares parking spaces with other businesses in the area, the plaza can be really crowded. Few people know, there is an alley behind the plaza that rarely gets filled with cars. During peak busy times, you can go straight at the back following the little cigarette shop close to the recycling area to check for available spaces. As of May 2021, no dine-in due to the pandemic. And wait times can be long. Your experience may vary.
