The pho and popcorn chicken are great and very unique to this restaurant! The drinks here are also fresh and different from other typical boba or smoothie shops nearby. The wait time for food does take awhile, up to 5 minutes, even during peak hours or non peak hours. However good food that takes awhile is better than one that is rushed.This is also the first restaurant I have been to with an “unlimited noodles” option offered.

If I could give zero stars I would. I came here yesterday and I ordered 4 plates two with double protein and veggies and then 2 other single protein with double rice no veggies. Was told it was going to be a 15-20 minute wait so I decided to wait in my car after about 35 minutes I figured it had to of been done and the buzzer was not working however I go in and yet the group of people who ordered ahead of me still hadn't gotten their food. I was in no rush so I wasn't too upset I waited around for about another 30 minutes. While waiting there was a customer who complaining about his order being wrong and wanting a refund I should've taken that as a sign. About another 15 minutes and my buzzer finally went off the cashier apologized for the wait and I said no problem and left. When I got to my car I realized my food was pretty cold but I wasn't going to make a fuss about. it I live about 30 minutes away so it was a bit of a drive to get there and back once I arrived home I opened my food and saw that they had left out all the veggies and not only that but there was very few pieces of chicken this was extremely upsetting after the long wait and food being cold even after waiting. I called the store to ask about the veggies and the man on the phone said they had just ran out of veggies and so I asked why they did not let me know before leaving or give a discount of any sort I asked how we are going to resolve this issue and he put me on hold. He then came back and said I can drive back and get the veggies and I was like didn't you just say you ran out of veggies? Now all of a sudden you have them again. His excuse was they just started cutting some up when i had left and for some reason didn't let me know I wouldn't be getting any they also did not give me double rice same about as the plates that were supposed to get veggies. I asked for a refund and they said I would have to drive back to give them the plates to get a refund and I live 30 minutes away which is ridiculous for me to come back for a mistake that they made and knew about and denied to tell me. If a business knows that it was them who was in the wrong and made the mistake you would think they would fix it right away. As you can see in the pictures the amount of food is absolutely insane for the price of $30 a plate like what the actual F. this place is a joke and I will never return here again. I was not going to make that drive for their mistake I will be contacting my bank.

I usually dont write reviews for restaurant experiences, even when the experience is unsatisfactory, but our latest encounter with this restaurant should be noted. I have been to Sushi Yuzu a number of times and have always enjoyed their food, however I will not be going back. Tonight, my girlfriend and I decided to go to Sushi Yuzu, and saw there was a quite a wait for a table so we opted for takeout. The server who was helping place our order let us know the food would take about 30 minutes to prepare, and delibrately took down our cell number to call or text when the order was ready. No problem there, however, as we waited close to an hour, my girlfriend and I felt maybe they had forgotten our order. Come to find out our food was sitting on a table in the middle of the restaurant for what seemed to be over 30-40 min. When we asked why they didnt text or call to let us know (like they had said), the same person who gave us the instructions smugly replied, were busy and we do not do such a thing. Are you kidding? You gave us those specific instructions! We didnt get an apology or any sort of answer other than to just deal with it. When we asked how long the bag was sitting there, the same guy goes, uh, just like 5 minutes, when we had been staring at it for the 30 minutes we had been waiting. We would have asked earlier, but considering Covid and only allowing so few people in, we relied on the restaurant letting us know when it was ready like they had said. Then, when we asked for a refund and gave back the cold food, again there was no apology but instead a feeling of indifference and arrogance. We wernt looking for a free meal or anything, but certainly more than just a take it or leave it approach. Sadly, we will not be coming back to this awfully run establishment. We are not picky people, I get establishments can have off nights, but they could have cared less about their customer service.

I really enjoyed this little place. It's in the parking lot on the corner of Merrill Av and Riverside Av. The lot with the Planet Fitness Gym and the El Super Market. It was nice and clean and the server was friendly. It's a bit small inside so it's not for large groups. The use of a pickup or delivery service is available such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. Calling ahead is also an option. Strangely enough the server is required to put a code into the restroom each time you need to use it. I've never experienced this in a restaurant of this type. Imagine going into Apple Bee's and having to ask to be let into the restroom ?. I assume it's due to their location and the particular clientele of the area. Nevertheless the food was good, the boba in my Thai tea was a little under cooked but no biggie.

I come here 3 times a week. Always leave a 25% tip every time. I I even came over on Monday and dined in. Had my favorite server. Normally the service is great. Today they were extremly hostile to me. I was one 1% battery and called to ask if i could borrow the charger for 2 minutes to get a charge so i could call a ride home. I even said I would dine in, I literally chose the trader joes in this area so I could eat at “something vegan” after. But my phone died. The woman on the phone said YES to me if i dined in, she would charge my phone enough for me to call a ride. But when I got there with zero % they looked at me like I was a slug and where very rude and hostile to me and said no. Why Lie on the phone then??? The people who worked today and where there around 5:20pm need to take a class on etiquette. Dont lie on phone, dont be rude. This used to be one of my favourite vegan places . Literally would come over 3-4 times a week. No more!! Ill make sure none of my vegan friends come back either! Why is it always the people who work there at night, are rude af! Even last week the service was bad and i still tipped 25%. Service here as gone downhill. No greeting, no checking on you, even last week, no offer of water or dessert, . Just slapped bill on table. Still i tipped 25% . Still i came back . But you guys had to continue to show a lack in service. Thankfully Studio City has BETTER vegan thai with BETTER service. Also, if you go at night and are solo, they treat you badly because they figure smaller check with one person. ?♀️ Im literally the one who comes in and gives big tips snd orders a sample of everything, especially when its dead slow. Your servers that where on tonight and the one at cashier stand. Have just lost a regular, as well as 13 of my friends who come by very often.Only one server at “something vegan” is worth going. Go before 3pm, otherwise you get the servers who are rude.

Pictures of musicians and artists alike fill up the interior walls of this place, very unique and interesting.The service was definitely good, thats what made me enjoy this place. The hostess, waitress, and the manager made me feel very welcome here, as they greeted me and kept checking on me asking if everything was okay with my order. The place is clean and well kept. Even the bathrooms were nice and clean. It is a spacious place with lots of seating and tables available.The place is somewhat hidden, its close the the Riverside Lowes, but not in the Lowes shopping center. Its located in the KFC shopping center area.I ordered the vegetarian pho and spring rolls. I cant say it was anything special, nothing that stood out per say, but definitely nothing wrong with it either. I did enjoy it, and I would come again for some pho! Its just that I am in love with different pho place, but I wanted to give this place a try, and Im glad I did...another local place to enjoy some pho!Check this place out for yourself, I enjoyed my time here.

This place is easily one of Riversides biggest secrets. The Upper Crust offers incredible homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts 7 days a week.I had the pastrami sandwich on a french roll with potato salad and carrot sticks. I wasnt sure if Id like the potato salad since Im not typically a fan and the owner didnt hesitate to offer me a sample to see if I liked it. I took a bite and was wowed by how delicious it was! It was fantastic, and thats saying a lot coming from me. They then told me they make it in-house fresh daily, along with the french rolls and other goodies.While I waited I chatted with the people who run the place and discovered theyve been serving up sandwiches here for 20 years! When my sandwich came out it was presented beautifully, and served with a smile. The pastrami itself was hot, juicy and full of flavor. The french roll was unexpectedly soft, fluffy and melded to the meat with melted cheese.Everything I had here oozed with tender love and care and the people inside were great. I cant wait to come back tomorrow after the Mission Inn and try more of their scrumptious sandwiches!

I have been coming here for years but haven't been here since before the pandemic. Just visited again today and had to leave a review. Food is good but I would refrain from ordering, or paying for any cooked food that is not readily available in the kitchen. We had paid in advance for a tray of panipopo and a tray of their yummy cooked muscles. However, when we got home from picking up the order, we discovered that the tray of panipopo -- was actually still raw -- i.e., the dough was still sticky and was not edible so we had to throw the whole tray out. The half size pan -- not the full size pan -- was filled with muscles but -- OMG -- it was not degutted or let alone cooked. Basically, someone had poured the raw muscles in the pan, followed by the coconut mix and literally handed it to us, raw. What the?? Unfortunately, we didnt figure this out until we got home and because we are extremely busy people, we never had time to go back and request a refund. Instead -- we just frequent other polynesian food markets in the OC and Long Beach.

UPDATE: The owner of this establishment is now trying to say that they never refused us service INSIDE the restaurant when in fact they did, never once was there a conversation about there being a waitlist or an option for us to wait for a seat inside and not all of the tables were full in the restaurant that day.When we went to this restaurant on Father's Day surprisingly it was no where as packed as other restaurants we tried going to that day, and we would have had no problem waiting in the car for a seat as our car did have AC to accommodate my younger sister.When we walked into the restaurant the host/owner looked at my sisters service animal and then proceeded to ask us how many people were in our party and we told him 5, immediately he told us we could not sit inside due to us having a dog (the dog is a fully trained service animal) and that we would have to sit outside on the patio.We explained to the host that the dog was a service animal and not a regular pet and he was very firm with us that they do not allow animals inside the restaurant and that they have to cater to other guests who MAY have allergy's which makes no sense because lots of people are pet owners and could potentially bring pet hair in on their clothes.So since we clearly weren't being heard out by the host and he wasn't understanding that my sisters dog was a service animal and he is there to alert her of her seizures, we decided to not cause a scene and immediately turned around and left.Previous Review: On June 16 at 1:40pm front host refused us service inside the restaurant due to my younger sister having a service dog he said that we could sit out on the patio but my sister suffers from seizures and can not be out in the heat for long periods of time and by law service dogs are aloud to go into any public area including the dining room. No exceptions because it is against the law.
