OWA Mi Gia Ky
4504 W 1st St, Santa Ana, CA 92703, United States
This is a typical Vietnamese restaurant that offers many different popular Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. I wouldnt categorize this place as an authentic Chinese noodle house as the name implied. We ordered some noodles and they were actually better than we thought however. Specially for the price, the broth tasted great as well as the wonton. The place is across the street from My Trieu Chau which is a much more popular for Chinese noodles. This place is inside of a business plaza with plenty of parking spaces. The interior is clean and simple. It is an handicap friendly facility.
Orange Grill in Santa Ana
3301 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
I used to eat here often when my work was nearby and it first opened, and it was like 7 bucks for a huge combo meal. It was a huge hit with my coworkers.Havent come in years since when COVID first hit, but I decided to visit again lately.Obviously it cant be considered cheap food anymore, but I think the food is as good and satisfying as I remembered and I will continue to visit occasionally. One thing, orange grill if you are seeing this, I miss when the crunch roll was just arguably wastefully covered in tenpura flake, but it was so fun and crunchy and it was one of my favorite parts,I came twice in the past few months, dine in and take out, and both times it was just a small pinch of flakes already softened by moisture. That is the one think I might say is not as good as before.
Bite Mi Asian Kitchen
2775 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
I love this place, Ken is amazing and because of him, I would get food, bread and drinks here all the time with my family. Sadly my 3 trips a week have completely stopped because they dont serve Taro Milk Tea. It honestly depresses me to no end when I get promo and ads for Milk Tea and I see a Taro drink is in the promo. I think wow they finally have it! so I drive over or try to order online and this location still doesnt have it. Instead I have to drive miles away to another location just to get a Taro Milk Tea... Now Ive just stopped going to Tastea and Tastea related location all around. I even uninstalled the app and unsubscribe from the email listing so the disappointment I get from this place can stop.
Orimori Japanese Kitchen
2509 S Broadway k126, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
This was one of the coolest experiences, maybe ever. LolIts not actually a storefront(?), but seems to be this yellow warehouse with a little entry room that has some lockers on one side, a little desk for an attendant built into the wall, and a computer for orderingThe computer has menus for a couple dozen restaurants and your order, then wait for the order to finish and it acts like a doordash or Uber eats for pickup.I ordered sushi. My partners for Mexican food - everybody was happy ?I dunno if its just because we were there at 1 AM, but the parking was PACKED with food trucks that were obviously closed for the night. This place doesnt really *do* atmosphere, per say, but I suppose you could think of it like an Amazon warehouse pickup station.
Top other services in Santa Ana:
Brodard Express
Airport Terminal Services Inc, 18601 N Airport Way #205, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
My new favorite stop for a snack before flying out of John Wayne Airport. Brodards prepares dozens of little spring roll containers that you can pick up and take for under $10. Service is also quick and friendly - a small line shouldnt take too long to wait through. They have several spring roll options including a breakfast spring roll and eggplant, but the classic Grilled Pork Spring Rolls crunch factor and sweet, salty dip always hits the spot. While the baked goods and spring rolls are easily portable, there is plenty of seating to enjoy a full meal in this food court setting (by Gate 13) where Brodards Express sits.Their baked goods, which includes items like spinach feta pastry and croissants, is available right from the opening. If you need something heartier, Brodard Express also offers vermicelli bowls, salads, and rice dishes. Youve got plenty to choose from. For early travelers, only baked goods are available in the first hour of opening so bring a backup plan for breakfast or try out some bakery items. However, if youre looking for a meal after a long flight, this place closes shop by dinner time (6pm).Locals know the original restaurant located in the OC well, but for those of you who dont, you are in for a treat! It almost makes flying something I look forward to - almost :).
Acceptance Insurance
3033 S Bristol St Suite 121, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
Judith is fantastic! If I could describe her in just two words it would be WORLD CLASS.I Googled auto insurance offices near me and her office was one on the list. I called a total of 3 offices to inquire about a quote to insure my vehicles and Judith was call number two. Judith stood out from the other two with her genuine positive attitude and high energy she transmitted through the phone. Although one other company had zero broker fees I wasnt pleased with the tone of voice and that I was made feel like I was bothering the agent by asking for a quote.Judith followed up with me two times after my inquiry with the same great attitude and positive energy. I finally came in to meet her in person and put my insurance plan in force. She nearly forgot about me because she stopped following up for two weeks after the second time she had called me. But she remembered and was very pleased to meet me. She ended up taking care of my auto insurance needs in a timely manner. She made it a very smooth and easy transaction and at a very competitive price.Im a very satisfied client that will be doing business long-term with Judith. I will be referring my family and friends to her as well as anyone I hear looking for a professional agent who does everything for the betterment of her clients. If youre looking for a new auto insurance agent look no further and call Judith today!
Pad Thai Restaurant
12620 Westminster Ave Ste.A, Santa Ana, CA 92706, United States
Not worth the amount of food for price. $18 for a lunch special with paid thai and shrimp. Literally $2 more for shrimp and i got 1 shrimp lol. The service was lousy and the place looked old and dingy. My food was sitting on counter I asked if that was my order and the gentleman said yes but you have to pay first. I was still waiting on my Thai Tea to be served. When I told him im going to pay he begin to raise his voice at me and gave me an attitude. I told him its not like im walking towards the door i simply asked if that was my food. Im paying with card. Not the customer service I was hoping for the first time being at this establishment with that customer service plus the food quality wasent that great I wont ever be back! Id rather save my money and go to another thai place. Was really hoping this place would Excel my expectations as it does have 4.9 reviews ...idk from where.
new york slice deli oc
2138 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
We were looking for a place to get pastrami on our way to the beach, and Im so glad we took a chance here. I saw from the reviews they were new and wasnt sure. Well, let me tell you, I am a fan! Not only were all the sandwiches phenomenal, the staff was so warm and inviting. You can tell they take a great pride in their shop and product. We had the pastrami on a baguette, the suga Mama (chefs kiss ?, my favorite), and the Italian grinder (also fantastic). This will definitely become our regular spot to stop in and grab a sandwich on our way to the beach. The only bad thing, but not a reflection of the owner because I dont think these are made in house, was the black and white cookie. These were so disappointing, they tasted off, very off. Other than the sad cookie, the experience made me want to be a regular! Try it, youll love it.
Koco Sushi
715 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Just went here for the first time tonight. I dont know of the other places to compare this place to, because were from out of town.Anyways, we went to dine in. There were 4 of us. A couple of people ordered sushi (Disney and blooming), I got the Koco BBQ mix plate, and my son got the salmon teriyaki bowl. The people who got the sushi said it was really good. My Koco BBQ mix plate was just their bowls but with a miso soup, and it was really good. My son also inhaled his salmon teriyaki bowl.We also ordered Boba. One person got the Thai Tea Boba, and I got the Taro. Both were really good. The service was good and the establishment was clean. The lady that seated us, took our order,They gave us complimentary edamame that was good, and Ive actually never had it before. It was a nice snack while waiting for them to fresh make our food, which does take a few minutes but totally worth it and preferred by us.
And Broth
201 E 4th St Unit 127, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Admittedly, we arrived a bit late 7:10pm or so on a Tuesday night. We were told that broth had been sold out for the day and that only the BBH sandwich was left to be ordered. We ordered 2 BBH sandwiches to go. I asked to skip the cilantro and chili oil for one of the sandwiches and staff confirmed that they were able to accommodate this request. Operations appeared slow, clunky, and inefficient - maybe staff will need more training or time to learn the operations. Took over 20 minutes to get two sandwiches. They definitely had other orders to prepare but they also weren't slammed with customers or anything. When we finally picked up the sandwiches… they weren't to go. So the staff member at the front packed it for us and assured me that one of the sandwiches had skipped the cilantro and chili oil as I had requested. This was obviously not the case when I bit into my sandwich. The bun was pretty nice actually, crispy outside and soft enough with a bit of chewiness as you'd expect from a baguette. The meats were moist and seasoned nicely. The bun had some butter and spread that I could distinctly taste, complemented the meats, and prevented the bun from getting too soggy too quickly. Pickled onions helped balance the richness. But the dipping broth was spicy and of course each mouthful of sandwich was overpowered by the cilantro that I had requested to not be in it. The mint in there however was a lovely flavour. Service-wise, didn't seem like most of the staff really wanted to be there. Maybe everyone was having a hard day. Hope they will continue to improve and operations will smooth out. For now, I don't have much incentive to return.
