Never order soup through drive through. You order a bowl thinking youll get a big bowl of soup like inside restaurant when you order. But nope, you get a cup size soup for almost$7. Not worth it. I asked the gal at the window thinking she got me the wrong size, she said, no thats the bowl and cup size is smaller... Like a condiment size cup!Its ridiculously different serving size than what you would normally get at the restaurant.I dont care if the soup cost$7. But I expect soup to be bowl size for$7.

Wow! I was determined to find other places that had dry noodle in this special style, and was so happy that me and my family found this on yelp! They call this Mazeman, and some of the places I tried, I kept thinking, I wish there was more variety, in case a family member doesn't really eat this style of noodles. Well I don't have to look any further, as this place has plenty to choose from. Not only was there Mazeman, there was Ramen, and even rice bowls!. I'm not quite sure how the service is in this place, but when I took my order the person helping was nice and patient.FoodSo since it was our first time, and they had so many items we decided to try a few different dishes. Had to try the Deluxe Mazeman. Maybe I have never ordered this to go, but it was an awesome experience. There were instructions on the bowl itself on how to get your Mazeman ready to eat. You have to first heat it up, then add the egg they have for you (it's cooked a bit) and mix everything up. Then you add the vinegar provided, enjoy and add some rice in the end to finish all the ingredients. The squid appetizer and the chicken they have is so good as well. The place was in a bit of an unexpected location, but it wasn't too hard to find. It was clean inside and looked modern. I cant wait to come back and try more of the different food that they have. Until next time!

Boiling Point
1370 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
I ordered seafood and my friend ordered beef soup. At bottom of my soup I found 1.5x1.5cm plastic.Manager said SORRY and took off my bill. I only paid my friends$20.52. manager did not tell me why the plastic sheet was in the soup. Even manager said sorry, but I think all customers must know why? Is SOP issue? Kitchen cook soup in a plastic bag? All customers drick plastic soup?Customers will get cancer . On myway out we saw a police at outside of restaurant. We were thinking to report to police but police was too busy talking to a small group of people.I strongly suggest all customers stop to eat food from this restaurant till manager find out why the plastic in soup. HamaHippo Korean Kitchen
2219 N Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92835, United States
I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Mama Hippo, a Korean restaurant that completely won me over with its culinary authenticity and warm hospitality. The standout dish for me was definitely the galbi, which was exceptionally tender and fresh, melting perfectly with each bite. The banchan selection was a pleasant surprise, offering a different variety each day I visited, always fresh and flavorful, enhancing the overall meal. The soondubu jjigae deserves special mention for its exquisite taste. It was wonderfully hearty and comforting, with just the right amount of spice and silkiness in the tofu that it was hard not to crave more. What added to the charm of Mama Hippo was the cleanliness of the place, including a welcoming and well-maintained entrance that set a positive tone right from the start. The staff, particularly the ladies serving, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience feel more like a meal at a friends home rather than a restaurant. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every part of the meal was enjoyable. If youre looking for authentic Korean cuisine served in a friendly atmosphere, Mama Hippo is a must-visit. Its a place where the food and the people leave you with a warm heart and a satisfied palate.

All About Pho
100 S Harbor Blvd Suite B, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
I'm so happy that Fullerton has a great premium Pho spot in the Downtown area. It was previously occupied by Cha2o and has been closed for construction for months! I was driving by one day and saw that they had a “Now Open” sign. Not really knowing what to expect other than knowing that it was a pho spot, I came in with minimal expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was very surprised with the interior and the open kitchen layout. I was told by the servers that every piece of furniture including the plates/bowls were imported from Vietnam. At the front, they even have a contactless pickup where you enter a code and the box that holds your order will open up. Their pho offerings are definitely on the premium side but I believe the pricing and value is more than fair as the portions are very generous. Their broth is fantastic, and I believe they spend 48 hours making the broth. Usually I get very thirsty after consuming a bowl of pho due to the saltiness, but it was not the case here. They're also one of the few places here that offer an option of thin or thick noodles for their pho. I've been here twice so far and I've always had a pleasant dining experience. I definitely want to come back and try their other appetizers and pho when I get the chance.Oh by the way, did I mention that they have cool robo servers and that they have a mouth wash station next to the restroom sinks? How thoughtful!|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Located on the corner of S. Harbor Blvd. and W. Commonwealth Ave.-You can enter through the front entrance on the corner of S. Harbor Blvd. & W. Santa Fe Ave. or you can park at the SOCO Parking Structure and walk to the location in about 3-5 minutes|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Roasted Bone Marrow ($15.00) - I originally wanted to try the Naked Eggs appetizer but I was told that they ran out for the day so I shall try it the next time. I went with the next appetizer I had in mind which was the roasted bone marrow. I've had a couple of bone marrow dishes at other vietnamese fusion places before and while it's very tasty, it usually comes at a ridiculous price point. Therefore, I was honestly surprised that we got (2) large bone marrows that had a lot of fillings! For once, I actually had enough bone marrow to scrape off for all the bread slices. The provided bread is fantastic and toasted to crispy perfection. Definitely a decadent and rich appetizer before devouring your pho.Pho Tai Wagyu ($19.00) - Feeling a bit fancy so decided to go with this option with the choice of thick noodles. You have the choice of having the meat rare, medium or well done. I went with the medium option as I don't like it when my meat is too well done. I figured it would still cook a little while it sits in the broth. The wagyu was extremely tender and the amount of meat given was great! I was low key afraid I was only going to get a couple of pieces.Pho Le Xua ($19.00) - If you can't decide which meats you want, I highly recommend going with this option. I went with the choice of thin noodles. Like I mentioned, they are extremely generous with their meats and it was honestly hard to pick a favorite meat. I think I'm probably never going to deviate from this bowl. The meat off the bone slid off super easy.Matcha Coconut ($6.00) - loved the combination of both flavors and how it wasn't overly sweet. If you need something refreshing with a kick of caffeine, this is for you.Herbal Tea ($4.00) - This definitely cooled me down from the summer heat. Love the cup that it comes with. It's slightly sweetened.Salted Lemonade Soda ($5.00) - I was intrigued by the thought of a salty lemonade so I decided to try it out. Super refreshing and light. I liked how the salty flavor didn't overpower the lemonade.

Zhangliang Spicy Hotpot (Rowland Heights)
1380 Fullerton Rd #104, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
Somewhat different style of hotpot, if it can be considered this. An apt description of what kind of restaurant this is, is more of a create your own bowl place, where you just grab the various toppings/veggies/noodles/beef in whatever magnitude and order you want. However, note, theres a procedure that you need to do, which is not written anywhere or how to do anything here. The staff either dont really speak English, or they have a low mumble voice, either or, its very hard to communicate with them. They are also pretty rude and brash on the procedure of things and gets frustrated pretty quickly when you dont understand what theyre saying. You are supposed to sign up on the Yelp pad to get seated, though based on observation, they have no one coming out to seat anyone, even with tables empty. If you sign on the pad and find your own table, since youll need a place to sit after giving your order to them to cook, theyll get pretty pissy.Other than that, the food is priced at $13.99 per pound for soup bowls and $14.99 for bowl mix. What I find somewhat scummy is that the scale isnt rated so your end price also includes the bowls weight, which itself isnt light. The food itself was alright, they had some interesting toppings, which I didnt grab. Note that the Traditional Pork Bone broth has to come with some level of spice, which is suspicious, as if you had a traditional bone pork broth, you would want to let your clientele to taste the many hour simmered broth...unless they used powder to make their base and then use spicy oil to help cover that fact.Im not sure if Ill come back here again, even though the food was alright, as I think youll have a better experience elsewhere.
