Panera Bread
4685 First St, Livermore, CA 94551, United States
I really like this place. It is one of the quietest restaurants in Livermore. The menu is the same as for any other Panera, with sandwiches, salads, and soups. Service is very fast. But it really shines for the peacefulness of the dining area.
Green Leafs & Bananas

Just terrible!!! I wouldnt go back to that place if it was the only restaurant open. They charged my wife and I about $37 for two drinks and two (pre made) wraps that had no taste and made me wonder how old it was. They have been sitting in a refrigerator case for who knows how long. They didnt seem to make the wraps there. ALL of their wraps are pre-made. Like another reviewer said, no different than a gas station sandwich. After just reading some of the other reviews its obvious that the owner doesnt care about quality to make some changes. Save your money and pick another place in the food court.

This review is exclusively about the boba at this location. Ive ordered it twice and I was so impressed that I had to leave a review. My Expectations:If Im being honest, I wasnt expecting much for a place that boba appears to be only a side item amongst several in an extensive menu. I was actually apprehensive because of the claims of quality ingredients, like organic milk. Since most out-of-the-way spots like this tend to skimp on the ingredients to reduce overhead and maximize the margins due to scarce customers. I had a bad experience in the same plaza at the fish market when I bought a whole order of sturgeon and catfish that I had to throw away because it had gone bad by the time I made it home. I was happy to say that I was dead wrong! My Experience:Both times I came, there were several customers enjoying their food, hinting at this place being an out of the way gem as opposed to a risky experience. I ordered the brown sugar boba, a favorite of mine, and definitely a hit or miss item. This time it was an absolute hit. The organic milk was delicious and easier on my stomach, and I had a very pleasant ride home enjoying my drink. I was so impressed that had I not been driving, I would have probably left a review even though it was based off one experience. My second experience was equally inspiring when I ordered my strawberry kiwi smoothie. Everything from the consistency to each flavor filled sip was just how I wished it would be. I can confidently say this place is worth coming to just for the boba. I couldnt even wait to reach home and began to dictate this review to my phone as I drove. Sorry not sorry. Cant wait to come back again for some more. Easy five stars!
Sais T Restaurant Livermore

The best tasting Chinese food Ive had in Bay Area in last few years !!All the positive reviews here are so on point. Good portion of food, at a very reasonable price, and taste that will not disappoint.I cant comment much on the ambience since I didnt dine in, but the lady who greeted me was very sweet. We ordered basil chicken with rice, chicken fried rice and fried shrimp. All of it was delicious !Definitely my future go to restaurant.FYI : The online menu does not mention Chefs Specials which has so many additional dishes like Salt and pepper fish. You can call the restaurant and find if a dish you want is available, and you can even ask her for customizations.

This is one of my favorite cuisines and this place definitely hits the spot. I ordered so many things such as Wings Zaap, Khao Koa Moo, Kana Moo Krob, Boat noodle soup and Pad See Ew. Everything was so good. Service is phenomenal and energy in the restaurant is very positive and uplifting. Highly recommended for everyone who loves good authentic Thai food.
Wingen Bakery

We've been here twice and both times it was just not that great. The first time we had bread pudding and a pastrami sandwich. The bread pudding was dry. It didn't seem dried out, but like the bread had never actually been saturated with the egg and milk liquid. The flavor was ok, but the portion was tiny. Like the size of a deck of cards. We specifically asked about the size before we ordered it and were told it was a large portion, so that was a disappointment. The pastrami sandwich was nothing special. No unique flavors, and the bread is cut so thin and saturated with butter or oil that it doesn't even matter whether it's homemade or not. It almost seemed like it had been pressed to help it brown faster. What a waste to cut fresh bread thin and then press it.Nothing comes with sides, so I was thinking about ordering a salad, but the person at the register said the bread pudding was a large enough serving that my bf and I could probably just split the salad that came as a side with his order. When I saw how small the salad was, I feel like maybe she just wanted to save me $5. So I let him have his tiny salad and ate my sandwich with no side. This place has great reviews so I thought maybe it was a fluke. We went back a second time and I got the turkey sandwich that's supposed to come on baguette, but unfortunately they were out, so it was the grease saturated, thin sliced bread again. Again, there was nothing at all special or unique about the sandwich. Literally just a warmed up deli meat grilled sandwich with cheese, Mayo and mustard. My bf got an egg sandwich and added avocado that was fine, but not any better than the egg sandwiches he makes every morning from my homemade bread. We also ordered coffee. It was very acidic, to the point where I added all the cream they gave me and it was still sour. I'm hoping someone just measured the grounds incorrectly and it doesn't usually taste like that. The owner very kindly exchanged it for a latte, which was very good.I wasn't going to leave a review because I wasn't sure if I was being over critical, but I went to a different sandwich place recently and they did all the things I was thinking could be done better. Their sandwiches have unique sauces and flavors. They have a few side choices you can purchase. They cut their bread to more like 3/4-1”. The grilled bread was lightly buttered. I ate it saying “OMG this is so good!” Instead of wondering why I paid $14 for a sandwich I could have made better at home. I also made bread pudding recently and my bf couldn't believe how good it was, since the bread pudding at Wingen bakery is the only one he had ever tried. It's not supposed to be dry. So I decided it was worth posting. I'd like to support local businesses, not tear them down, so I hope this didn't come across as too harsh.
The Essence Redefining Indian Food

My family and I discovered this gem by accident and we were so happy we did. The atmosphere and the staff were so welcoming and the aromas had us excited to begin our taste journey. There were only three of us so we ordered two appetizers. The Chili Paneer was delicious. The right balance of heat and sweet. The Samosa Chaat was another favorite. We ordered papadam, rice, and Naan, we all agreed it was the best Naan we'd ever had. We tried two curries, the Ambala Chicken Curry and the Desi Goat curry. The chicken curry had pieces on and off the bone the heat slowly built but in a pleasant way that allowed you to taste everything. There was a delay in the goat curry because they had run out, but they made some fresh, I was told were great, especially as they got to the bottom of the bowl. At this point, although full, we couldn't not try a dessert. Not knowing what we were ordering we ordered the Rasmali. Four little round white cakes arrived at the table with a milky saffron topping and some chopped pistachios. I'm not sure how to describe the cake texture, but it was delicious. We can't wait to go back!
Tacos la Potranca Livermore

Today we had the worst experience. I called to ask if they served breakfast in spanish the girl answered with excuse me? So I asked in English if they had breakfast & she replied yes with attitude. So my family of 8 was visiting from outside the area. We arrive & started to order our food items the cashier wich I am sure was the same on the phone had the worst attitude. My 1st time with bad experience ?. As she took the order she double charged for our drinks. There was an Horchata that was also ordered & she started to argue I did not charge you I did not hear you ordered I said yes we did check the order & the receipt & sure enough there it was she didnt even apologize at all she continue with the attitude & said I have to take the next order I will get the rest of your missing drinks when I can. Blew me away. Also the Menudo was so salty & If I am not mistaken is from the can. I highly recommend this place because I always have good service & the food is good. Our oder was likec$160.00. Idk if I will be back. A customer complained about the menudo being very bad salty. We should be refunded the $16.00 for the disgusting menudo & service. Or at least an apology. That cashier needs to go take her attitude somewhere else.

Absolutely best customer service I have experienced at any restaurant. The lady that welcomed we was so enthusiastic and kind and kept saying it was an honor and a pleasure to have me in the restaurant. On top of the stellar service, the food was excellent. Got the mixed platter and hummus, very delicious meal. They gave me a complimentary lentil soup when I came in and that was very good. Going to come back soon. Great job Petra!
The Press an Artisan Cafe

Great place to get some breakfast and coffee or lunch. Downtown location in Livermore is very nice. Located a couple doors down from the Livermore Movie Theater. Its not a big location just like their Pleasanton location. Its not as cozy as Pleasanton but offers a clean modern look. Because of the hard surfaces and small area its very loud in there. Not the best place for an intimate conversation. They offer great coffee sources from Chromatic Coffee Co. Great tasting espresso based drinks and love their cold brew. Breakfast is amazing. They have popular trendy items like avocado toast that is topped with a hard boiled egg very good. Also the curdled egg on grits is amazing. Tasty and simple. They have specials that are seasonal. Everyone I have tried has been really great. Also offer brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. I had the French toast and it was some of the best I have had. They offer sandwiches for lunch served with a side salad. Good deal and great quality ingredients. Its usually crowded and a very busy spot. They have a bit of outside seating but not a ton. Make sure to not mind a little bit of a crowded meal not a ton of room. Great place.
