Seoul Komtang(S.K.T)
A 3170 Santa Rita Rd Ste 2, Pleasanton, CA 94566, United States
Tri valley is lacking in terms of Korean restaurants with the creamy Ox tail soup (Seolleongtang). This restaurant showed up as a potential option. Ordered the oxtail soup with brisket, and it wasnt bad, but not amazing. They had generous green onion…. But left wishing the green onions were cut fresh that morning, broth was creamier, and wish they had Yangpa Jjangajji as a small dish.Overall- glad to have tried it (next time I’ll try other dishes), but I am still in search of a gooood Seolleongtang place.
California Pizza
1328 Stoneridge Mall Rd, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
This CPK is located in the Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton. Usually parking is not an issue. The restaurant is crowded during peak hours. Service has been generally good. They have a good choice for vegetarians, there are a good selection of soups. Salad and a few appetizers. The warm bread with butter is very good. They make spicy chipotle with pizza with Avocado pretty good. Its tasty and not heavy. They have good cocktails which go well with the pizza and appetizers. All in all, great restaurant to visit during non peak hours.

Bocado Un Petit Bistro

WowI can say more. WOW. This place is what downtown Pleasanton has been missing for years! Not just a coffee/tea Creperie. It is a smaller scale Bistro, but keeping things REAL. Enough to try atleast every week let alone daily great 4 Barrel mochas and Iced Lattes! And yes they do have non dairy alije oatmilk.Zomething or niche about this place. It must be Fusion as they have even Ceviche to Paninis cold desserts changed often. Have you every tried Overnight Oats?? One had lemon curd inside-just enough and topped with real fresh berries. Not just two or three kinds but when we went 4! Wow.Attention to detail is not for just fine dining. Here everything seems to be checked by this Chef of multi cuisine. They even had fresh baked items that are NOT supplied by Sysco! This little place. Once it will be found out by residents/Locals. Watch out theyre be lines.3 months gone by and the food is still level and delicious. We have tried almost half of the menu by now and it just seems Spot On.Tea person especially Afternoon Tea. But this Chef owner seems to have it all. Changed me back to Coffee from Hot Tea in over a decade.Minority owned and LGBT Friendly. It seems welcoming. Front door open and the decor unique. One wall is like a beau mural in the tropics jungle and the crystal chandaliers and skylight take you somewhere else. Nice tables outside and great location just off the main street USA and great to get away afternoon for a cup of java. Smoothest cup I have ever had in years. Puts Peets behind for us.Nice! The salmon crepe is called a unique name and lives up to that. They are NOT chinsey or cheap with the amount of smoked.pescado.They even have a plain pb&j for the little ones. What Bitro does that ? Alot of homemade or raher I say Chef made design from Aioli to fresh made whipped cream. Crepe mix. Not too sweet so you can try savory and the Grande Marnier and banana and nutella. My other diner enjoys the plain with Lemonatta and sucre. Will definitely tell a co worker. Neighbors and those who appreciate clean FRESH food with flair and photo styled different tastes from around the world. My fave is the Thai chicken crepe. SO Good. My mouth waters as of this write. My other diner craves the curried chicken salad with fresh grapes on mini croissants. Just enough! Dont leave without a coffee to.go. And a dessert. Plan not to share. Its just seems so good not to. Yum yums. Its about Time Pleasanton. Bocado onward!
Pho Queen
1807 Santa Rita Rd ste f, Pleasanton, CA 94566, United States
I've been searching for a good pho place in the East Bay forever… And look no further! I love the queen. Service is excellent… The owner is sweet and hard-working. The environment and atmosphere is clean and pleasant. But as of all the food is delicious authentic Vietnamese food portions are excellent… You must try this place for yourself and see!Oops … I meant to take a picture of the food when it came out, but it was so delicious. This is all that is left ???
Truva Mediterranean Grill
4501 Hopyard Rd D3, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
I have never been to a better Mediterranean restaurant than this!I ordered the lentil soup and Greek salad. The soup was warm and creamy, the perfect combination for comfort. The Greek salad is what all Greek salads should be. It was tangy and crisp, the vegetables adding the perfect flavor. The meal also came with pita bread and their famous homemade bread. Perfect for dipping in the soup or hummus or eating just plain. The people were very respectful and helpful, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing.Perfect place for food and comfort.
Time Thai Kitchen Pleasanton
929 Main St ste c, Pleasanton, CA 94566, United States
I’ve tried various Thai restaurants from California to the Midwest and so far this is the hidden gem. From the soups to the fried rice. Even though I make good oven baked fried chicken, the fried chicken here looks impressive and will be the next thing I order. Overall, the restaurant is a cozy, cool and welcoming atmosphere in a pretty, quaint town. I’d recommend this place to anyone, especially those with great taste. 10/10.
Pocket Sushi
4747 Hopyard Rd #5, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
No hot Tea, nor Brown Rice, oh well, trying to Keep It Healthy, but such is Life, atleast they have SEVERAL Options and very unique, even a Soy Wrapper instead of Rice! Very cool idea. AND non Sushi items like GREAT TEMPURA including Beet, and Mushroom and Carrot, unlike some other Sushi or Japanese Cafe/Rest.s. TASTY and my other diner VERY TASTY but best of all...AFFORDABLE! Limited days and hours, but was able to dine outside away from folk with a breeze and bottled japanese green Tea Cold or room temp. Even canned from vending machines (Okinawa) Coffee! Same. But very diff. and even Korigage Chicken and great sauces but mostly mayo based. You can even build your own! We had Calif roll with REAL Crab, not Krab for only 3 U.S. Dollars more. Give it a try even if you dont do Susi. One person or small fam/group at a time during Pandem., to order but they prefer you to Mobile Order primary.
BentoLicious
4833 Hopyard Rd E3, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
I am thoroughly impressed with this place. I didn't feel like having panda express or Greek or my usual lean cuisine. I searched on Yelp to see what was available and this place was one of the recommendation. I had the railroad bento lunch with sides. Earlier before I came here, I called to see what was available as the sides because it did not show on their website or anywhere else. I called and the gentleman on the phone said I need to come in because I am new. I didn't know what it meant until I arrived. I am definitely impressed with how they care about the customers during the pandemic. They keep their customers in line… Literally… From each other and keep a distance where the hot plate and where the customers are standing. It appears that the sides change each day. One or two items are different each day I'm guessing. I guess I will have to return next time to try the other dishes. The price is decent, the quality is definitely A+.Highly recommended: get the Thai iced tea before it sells out. I got there around 12:20pm and three customer ahead of me bought the last the last drop of the Thai iced tea. If you are too late for the Thai iced tea, try the sarsaparilla soda. It's not a typical sarsaparilla I'm used to but it does change things up with your lunch in a good way.Price: A +Service: A +Quality: A +It's pretty moot at this point if I'm commenting about returning because I'm definitely coming back to try the other items on their menu.
CloudDish
2693 Stoneridge Dr #101, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
The service at this restaurant is extremely bad. It was a mistake they made by not serving us a dish we ordered but they claimed us to have bad attitude and even yelled at us…. I have never experienced this kind of awful service at any Bay Area restaurant. Also there are health concerns as well, the dishes/spoons were not cleaned at all and dirty. Their floor is dirty with dripped soup… I have found human hair in my soup and the wood mushroom is inedible.I would say I will never came here ever again. This is not the way you ever treat your customers.
Father Johnsons International Cuisine
4375 Foothill Rd, Pleasanton, CA 94588, United States
I had an interesting experience the second time I visited this restaurant. My party and I sat at the same booth as we did last time, to get the same waiter, but instead we were greeted by someone else. He was a little off-putting, but I can’t put my finger on why. Something about his smile just gave me the shivers. When I inquired about the previous waiter, he told me not to worry about it. What a strange man.Last time I ordered the mac and cheese, it was very good, but I wanted to try something new so I ordered the “Meat-Plate”. I dont remember seeing it on the menu last time but I was curious. The strange waiter smiled at me disconcertingly when I ordered it. He wouldnt tell me what was in the “Meat-Plate”. He said it was a surprise. Definitely a strange man. The meat tasted a little bit like pork, but had a strange ineffable quality. It might have been some exotic animal or something like that. Either way I never tried it before and I don’t think I will again. I didnt know what the man meant about it being a surprise and I forgot to ask him before I left.I also had the sodium hydroxide water. That was excellent. It paired nicely with the biochemical soup I had for lunch. (That can be found at Everly’s Everything Eatery. (legally this time!))When I went back again, the “Meat-Plate” wasn’t on the menu. It must have been seasonal. The first and third times I went were quite enjoyable. I recommend sitting at a table, not a booth though to avoid that waiter. But honestly, I would go again and I probably will. Also interesting, the next day, when I was looking through the newspaper, I found an article about the nice waiter from before. Apparently, he had been murdered! The police found a few of his body parts in the meat locker, frozen! I wonder where the rest of him went…You should definitely eat here, but sit at a table.
