Hung My Vi Restaurant
15348 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
We have been regular visitors of Hung My Vi, and our most recent visit has left us with a positive impression. My favorite go-to dish is the special dry noodle and wonton, while my husband loves the braised duck noodle. The special dry noodle and wonton comes with an abundance of green onions, chives, meat, organ meats, seafood, and a savory sauce, all served alongside a side of soup. The braised duck noodle, on the other hand, showcases a tender duck leg and dry shitake mushroom, immersed in a rich and flavorful broth, accompanied by pickled vegetables. However, one minor inconsistency weve noticed is that the portion of noodles tends to vary.Sometimes we receive a more generous serving, while other times it is slightly less, despite ordering the same small size bowl.During our most recent visit, we encountered newly hired servers who exuded energy and displayed a keen attention to detail. Their service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Moreover, we find that the dishes at Hung My Vi are reasonably priced, offering good value for the quality and taste.

La Casa Brito Mexican Restaurant
6618 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Terrible experience, and the first and last time I will ever order from this establishment.I placed an order through Uber Eats for the first time today, and chose Casa Brito based on the recommendation of some friends who had eaten there recently.I ordered Quesadilla de Huevos, which the Uber Eats online menu stated contained eggs, cheese, chorizo, sour cream, and guacamole. When the order arrived, it looked great. The disappointment came when I took my first bite and discovered that there was zero chorizo in the dish. Okay, I thought, maybe its my mistake. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish. So, I hopped back on to the Uber Eats website to double check my order. Nope, not my mistake. Theres my confirmation of what I ordered: Quesadilla de Huevos, with eggs, cheese, CHORIZO, sour cream, and guac. So, now Im a little bummed, but figure maybe the issue is with how Uber displays the restaurants menu. Maybe chorizo wasnt actually part of the deal. So, I call the restaurant directly. Speak to a very pleasant and patient female server, and ask, Does the dish come with chorizo? Why, yes, yes, it does. She puts me on hold and speaks to the owner/ manager - also the cook. After several back and forth exchanges, she tells me that the owner says that I got what I ordered. I insist that my confirmation included chorizo, and she tells me that the owner is essentially insisting that I am wrong - not that there was any miscommunication, not that the menu or website might be wrong, but I am and that I got what I ordered. Now, Im getting rather pissed off. Orders wrong, okay, that happens sometimes. Just admit, maybe apologize and offer a credit or a replacement, but no. For the owner to insist its MY fault? The server on the phone offers a replacement meal, and I tell her quite frankly that Im afraid of the possibility of spit ending up in it, given how rude the owner is being. She tells me not to worry about that. Cant say enough about how nice she is about the whole thing.I take a couple pictures from my computer screen, showing the order (and its ingredients), and hop in my car for a drive to Westminster. When I arrive at the restaurant, Im greeted by the very nice and patient server I spoke with on the phone. Behind the grill is the owner, who comes around the grill, ostensibly, to speak to me.I open up the food, begin explaining the issue, and he tosses his hands up and walks away from me, insisting again in Spanish that I am simply wrong and that I got what I ordered. He is impossibly rude about this, raising his voice, waving me off, and, since I know just enough Spanish, I realize hes also cussing about me under his breath. The staff is clearly embarrassed by the way hes acting and keeps trying to calm him. I show the server the pics from the computer, the food itself, that clearly this isnt what I ordered. I keep trying to talk to the owner, but he just keeps dismissing me, wont look at the pictures, etc. He snidely tells me that he knows his own menu. At that point, I pick up a menu off the counter and put it next to my commuter confirmation screen. The descriptions of what I ordered ARE IDENTICAL.Finally realizing that he is indeed wrong, he begins apologizing and backtracking, blaming Uber - who got the order exactly right, per his own menu. The servers had bagged a new order for me by then, but I was so disgusted that I told the owner to keep the food and my money. I told him that the food mistake should have been a trivial thing, but his treatment of me was bullsh*t.Worst customer service Ive had in years, and possibly ever. Servers, great. Owner, a compete jackass.

Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ
7132-A Garden Grove Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
The dinner was pretty good. My daughter and I shared the No. 3, which had 2 fried shrimps, a little bowl of rice, crab rangoons, cream cheese wontons, 2 bread pockets, and a baby egg roll. The crab rangoons and wontons feel like they could have more filling. The breads have a nice texture to the bite. My friends daughter likes to fill them with rice and dip them in soy sauce. The bbq bowl was good. Im not sure if it matters, but they dont have chicken here. The options were turkey, pork (I dont eat it), beef, and lamb. They have a good variety of veggies. I did wish they had jalapeños and water chestnuts. You can pour your sauces into your bowl. Im not sure what strong means, but theres that option, medium, and mild, along with oil, curry, lemon, etc. I do love it that they give us the option to pour as much chili oil into our food after we cook it. I did wish we can cook it into our food,, but but its ok. Ill take it. We also get the option of adding noodles into our food too upon request. Theyre also the good (I would like to say theyre lo-mein) noodles and not the lame spaghetti type noodles Ive had at other Mongolian Bbqs. I was told you could add rice too from my friend, but I could be wrong as I was in the middle of picking out my food selection while she was telling me all this. First time here and Ive passed by it a few times before, but never have gone until a friend invited us to go here. I liked the idea that its a sit down restaurant after creating your dish and the gentleman cooks it for you. My friend told me it gets pretty busy here even during the weekdays. We came here at 7 on a Wednesday and surprisingly it was just one other family and it so happened to be my friends inlaws! Nice welcoming people that work there. Very attentive to your needs. The inside of the restaurant looks clean and had nice lighting. My daughter said the restroom is a little far and the light flickers, might need to get that checked. If only they were open sooner, I would love to take my boyfriend here. Their fortune cookies are good and they actually make sense compared to some random nonsense Ive seen at other places - for example, You are a flower in the sky.. some mumbo jumbo like that. I got one that said that I would witness a miracle. Well lets hope I do! Thank you all again for your service. Well be back!

Sunny Side Cafe
2940 Westminster Blvd., Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
Sunny Side Café: Where Breakfast Dreams Come True! You've got to experience Sunny Side Café! It has a hometown diner charm with upscale modern allure.I had the Eggs Benedict, which is usually a dicey proposition. Too often eggs end up rubbery, and you have small portions that leave you hungry. But not here! Picture this – a harmonious blend of perfectly poached eggs nestled atop a bed of savory breakfast ham, adorned with lemon-infused hollandaise sauce, and just a hint of paprika to tantalize your taste buds.My brother had the Sunrise Breakfast Burrito which was bursting with the goodness of fluffy eggs, crispy hashbrowns, and a melange of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, all enveloping savory sausage, its a flavor explosion you wont soon forget. Now, lets talk ambiance. Sunny Side Café strikes the perfect balance between cozy familiarity and modern sophistication. The staff, especially the waitresses, are nothing short of phenomenal – embodying the epitome of friendliness and efficiency with the warmth and hospitality that feels like a warm embrace from your favorite auntie or your beloved mom.And the music is the perfect backdrop to your dining experience – upbeat and cheerful without being overpowering, creating just the right atmosphere to start your day on a high note.In conclusion, dining at Sunnyside Café is not just a meal – its an experience. From the impeccable food to the inviting ambiance and exceptional service, every aspect is meticulously curated to ensure you feel pampered and satisfied. So, if youre craving the best breakfast youll ever encounter, look no further than Sunnyside Café. Your taste buds will thank you!I am glad we stumbled onto this place. We will be sure to return here the next time we visit Long Beach!

Noks Kitchen

This restaurant was on my list for a minute. Finally I got to try. My family and I got there on a Saturday round 11:40am. The restaurant was almost full. We ordered lemongrass chicken which was perfectly fried. Bbq mix combo ( the sausage was delicious and homemade which I heard from other customers). Ka Tee Gai which is chicken curry noodle soup ( I think added the lime juice can balance the flavors of the dish) it was not spicy and more on the sweet side. We also ordered a Lard Ribye which was also good. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice. Oh! The presentation of the dishes were amazing too. We will come back next time.

Yamas Teriyaki
13102-B, 13102 Goldenwest St #13102-B, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Came here today for the first time, was craving teriyaki but did not want to pay $13+ A BOWL with barely any meat on it at more known food chains. What attracted me to this place was the amount of good reviews. Upon walking in, it was super clean..the guy taking my order was very nice & helpful. Ordered two plates (chicken/beef & another with chicken/beef/shrimp) and got a side of wontons for $24, the food/meat is hooked up & super good! The salad & fruit on my plate was fresh, the food looked just as amazing as it tasted. I also saw they have very affordable lunch specials.Definitely satisfied my teriyaki craving, will be coming back! Can't wait! Found my new teriyaki spot!!
