Gangnam Tofu House
3619 Thornton Ave, Fremont, CA 94536, United States
Originally from LA and whenever I’m in the mood for Korean food Gangnam Tofu is the spot! Tried other Korean restaurants in the Fremont/Newark area and none of them compare to the flavor and quality Gangnam Tofu provides. Delicious tofu soup, meats, and banchan!
Burma Bay Cafe
47966 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539, United States
If youre new to Burmese, I can best describe it like: if you cant decide what you wanted for dinner and had Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and some Indian food at the same time. ? My hubby hasnt had it more than once, so he was hesitant when I said I wanted to try this new San Jose spot that popped up on Doordash. I have since changed his mind on this cuisine. What we got delivered:Salt & pepper chickenBurmese style beef curryTea Leaf saladNan gyi dokPineapple fried riceThe Burmese Beef curry is tender like a proper pot roast, but this luscious curry flavor is unlike any other curries Ive tried before. This dish was hands down my favorite! The mouthwatering sauce was so delicious, I kept spooning it out of the to go container when the hubby wasnt looking. They didnt skimp on the amount of beef either, which surprised me. It always annoys me when I order curry, theres like 4 small pieces of meat with tons of sauce - not the case here!Everyone always recommends to try a tea leaf salad when you have Burmese. This is an unique salad with a ton of yummy crunchy ingredients you dont normally see in salads, and it deliciously compliments the tea leaf dressing. Worth a try if you havent before.Even though my hubby wanted pineapple fried rice (yum!) I wanted to try some noodles too. The nan gyi dok uses thick rice noodles that include a rich chicken curry, and a of different mix-ins! Ive never tried anything like this before, and its on my reorder list for next time! Also picky toddler approved. ???Salt / pepper chicken is my go to whenever I see it on any menu. This one had a really good spicy / sweet sauce that I loved, and the chicken was bite sized. I think it was our toddlers favorite since he kept stealing more fried chicken from my plate. The way Burma 3 packaged the food, theres no way any of your delivery drivers can tamper with the bag of food unnoticed, and thats something I really appreciated! Definitely will reorder again from here soon! Be sure to give them a try if you feel like having Asian fusion!

The Creperie Cafe

Food:During a visit to the area with my fiancé and a friend, we decided to check out this cute cafe for breakfast. Drawn by their online reviews and the promise of crepes, we were not disappointed. Their menu offers a delightful assortment of coffee, drinks, crepes, and paninis. A standout feature was their eco-friendly edible drink cups, which I found incredibly cool and innovative.I ordered a London Fog, which was delicious and perfectly brewed. My friend opted for a chai latte, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We both chose savory crepes; I went for the smoked salmon crepe, which was superbly delicious, while my friend had the veggie crepe. The crepes were generously cheesy, hearty, and filling, making for a satisfying breakfast.Service:The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, checking in on us regularly and even providing some hot sauce upon request. Their friendly and accommodating approach added to the overall positive experience.Ambiance:The cafe boasts a charming and cozy atmosphere with art adorning the walls. A notable feature is the garage door that opens up, creating an inviting space where we could comfortably sit with our dog. The place had a relaxed vibe with many patrons working on their laptops, making it a great spot for both casual dining and getting some work done.Overall:Seaside Creperie is a delightful breakfast spot that I would highly recommend. The combination of tasty drinks, hearty crepes, and excellent service makes it a must-visit if you're in the area. The eco-friendly practices and dog-friendly environment are added bonuses that enhance the overall experience. I look forward to returning and trying their sweet crepes next time!
Habibiz
46560 Fremont Blvd STE 101, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
*100% Zabiha Halal Chinese Restaurant*My mom and I have a tradition. Once a week, after work we drive to a restaurant and enjoy our meal in the car; we have a car date. So when I heard about a Zabiha Halal Chinese restaurant, OF COURSE, I had to drop everything and run (read: drive) to it! Anyone that knows me knows that I don't drive further than Dublin ? so my going to Fremont for a restaurant was one of the wildest things I have done in quite a while!I came across multiple posts with positive reviews about the food at Habibiz and obviously that contributed to the formation my impromptu early dinner date with my mom.We got there at the right(est) time as moments after we entered, the queue began getting long after us.The restaurant was clean and it gives a typical Chinese restaurant see-what-you-eat vibe, with the food neatly set up for display. After deep consideration, we decided what we were going to get. We got two boxes; one with fried rice and one with chowmein. Both, my mom and I are Chicken gals so we opted for that protein. We ordered orange chicken, chili chicken dry and a chicken gravy dish with vegetables that was hot and sour (I forgot to ask what's it called). We also got a couple of egg rolls and a side of fried fish. The portions are really good and the price? THE BEST!The food lived up to the hype! It was absolutely delicious and while everything was so so good, I had a few favorites; the chili chicken (dry), chowmein and the fish were absolutely yummy! My mom loved the orange chicken!Okay, now that we have the food review out of the way, I want to make a special mention of the fact that the owner has made a masjid right next to the restaurant and I think that's wonderful! We weren't sure if we could use the masjid since some work was being done inside and coincidentally, we met with the owner right outside the masjid. Brother informed us that a few final touches were being made but the masjid was open and guided us inside. I would like to end this long overdue post with something a brother working at the masjid said. He said that we had food for the body and the soul at the same place and I think that's a wonderful thought.
Always Cool BBQ
6008 Stevenson Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
I stopped by recently with a friend for dinner and to be quite honest there werent a lot of options in which i wanted to try (if you enjoy chinese street food/style bbq along with internal organs (gizzards/ligaments/hearts) options then this would be a good spot for you) otherwise there were some sparing seafood/noodle dishes along with rice, veggies, side dishes.i personally tried the beef kabobs, abalone w/vermicelli, squid neck, and fish tofu. my friend ordered fried rice with pineapple and crispy fried chicken with egg yolk - to which i tried and didnt really enjoy. but props to the crispy fried chicken with egg yolk you can really taste the salted egg. vs. the fried rice with pineapple - wasnt super flavorful and didnt look too appetizing.id say that the beef kabobs, abalone w/vermicelli, squid neck, and fish tofu were a pretty safe option to order and the flavor was pretty good. i think this is a spot in which id stop by again every now and then but not a spot id go to consistently! if youre in the area id recommend trying it at least once esp if you enjoy eating internal organs!tips:- karaoke bar is right next door- easy ordering through the phone- great for big groups and larger parties- very aesthetically pleasing along with lots of fun decorations around the place- parking lot available

Five Grains Noodle House ()
34129 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94555, United States
Celebrated my daughter’s birthday by recommendation on last Sunday. We came in around 2:30pm and no issue with parking. We ordered the original and pepper spicy snakehead fish filet noodles, and braised beef noodles for the family. After knowing that it was my daughter’s birthday, sever gave us a side dish and sesame balls which we really appreciated. Fish was fresh and tasty. Beef was soft The noodles soup came with 2 quail eggs, soft tofu and frozen tofu. We liked the Buddha fruits tea which is the only restaurant offered here I think. Highly recommended.

Momo & Kebab
37100 Fremont Blvd Suite K, Fremont, CA 94536, United States
I had never tried momos before and felt it was a good thing to do for my try something new every week resolution. The free chai at the restaurant's entrance is an excellent hospitality measure and put a smile on my face straightaway. The chai was very flavorful with a simple hint of cardamom. Our server was very kind and welcoming, always smiling and attentive. The food arrived promptly after we ordered, hot, and steaming. We ordered both paneer and veggie filled momos. Both were decently spiced and palatable. We tried both the soup variant and pan fried variant. The soup was not very appetizing and detracted from the momo flavor after it had soaked into the wrapping. The pan fried ones were much more appetizing and went well with the spicy sauce. One thing that was disappointing was that many of the momos had burst or broken easily upon being picked up by chopsticks. Given how thick the wrapping was, I had hoped that it would hold up better. The chow mein was actually pretty quite well done. There were crispy veggies, perfectly cooked noodles, and nicely balanced seasoning. Surprisingly I enjoyed it more than the momos.Regarding the spicy sauce provided in the bright red squeeze bottles. The flavor was ok, a little sweet, a little spicy. But I'm not sure if was just generic store bought or home made. There was nothing special about it. The same goes for the tomato dipping sauce provided with the fried momos. There were noticeable roasted tomato and spicy heat notes, but there were too much peel and stems that made the texture wanting.
