Not worth the amount of food for price. $18 for a lunch special with paid thai and shrimp. Literally $2 more for shrimp and i got 1 shrimp lol. The service was lousy and the place looked old and dingy. My food was sitting on counter I asked if that was my order and the gentleman said yes but you have to pay first. I was still waiting on my Thai Tea to be served. When I told him im going to pay he begin to raise his voice at me and gave me an attitude. I told him its not like im walking towards the door i simply asked if that was my food. Im paying with card. Not the customer service I was hoping for the first time being at this establishment with that customer service plus the food quality wasent that great I wont ever be back! Id rather save my money and go to another thai place. Was really hoping this place would Excel my expectations as it does have 4.9 reviews ...idk from where.
Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ
7132-A Garden Grove Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
The dinner was pretty good. My daughter and I shared the No. 3, which had 2 fried shrimps, a little bowl of rice, crab rangoons, cream cheese wontons, 2 bread pockets, and a baby egg roll. The crab rangoons and wontons feel like they could have more filling. The breads have a nice texture to the bite. My friends daughter likes to fill them with rice and dip them in soy sauce. The bbq bowl was good. Im not sure if it matters, but they dont have chicken here. The options were turkey, pork (I dont eat it), beef, and lamb. They have a good variety of veggies. I did wish they had jalapeños and water chestnuts. You can pour your sauces into your bowl. Im not sure what strong means, but theres that option, medium, and mild, along with oil, curry, lemon, etc. I do love it that they give us the option to pour as much chili oil into our food after we cook it. I did wish we can cook it into our food,, but but its ok. Ill take it. We also get the option of adding noodles into our food too upon request. Theyre also the good (I would like to say theyre lo-mein) noodles and not the lame spaghetti type noodles Ive had at other Mongolian Bbqs. I was told you could add rice too from my friend, but I could be wrong as I was in the middle of picking out my food selection while she was telling me all this. First time here and Ive passed by it a few times before, but never have gone until a friend invited us to go here. I liked the idea that its a sit down restaurant after creating your dish and the gentleman cooks it for you. My friend told me it gets pretty busy here even during the weekdays. We came here at 7 on a Wednesday and surprisingly it was just one other family and it so happened to be my friends inlaws! Nice welcoming people that work there. Very attentive to your needs. The inside of the restaurant looks clean and had nice lighting. My daughter said the restroom is a little far and the light flickers, might need to get that checked. If only they were open sooner, I would love to take my boyfriend here. Their fortune cookies are good and they actually make sense compared to some random nonsense Ive seen at other places - for example, You are a flower in the sky.. some mumbo jumbo like that. I got one that said that I would witness a miracle. Well lets hope I do! Thank you all again for your service. Well be back!

I was in Westminster today and wondered if there were any good vegetarian places nearby. Turns out Little Saigon is a thing in Westminster and if anybody knows vegetarian its the Vietnamese. There were too many vegetarian Vietnamese restaurants to choose from, but this place stood out among them because it was sushi. Great! I was actually in the mood for sushi and I hadnt had vegetarian sushi in maybe a decade. The place was a little easy to miss so I double checked street view and managed to figure out where it was. It was in the afternoon when I went and it wasnt super busy; the vibe was extremely chilled out and cozy due to the small space and selection of music. They were playing what sounded like city pop on the speakers and between that and my server wearing a Street Fighter shirt I immediately got the impression that this was a hip place. I was glad to have come here even before I ordered.I ordered a miso soup and the crunchy roll. The roll was huge and delicious. The miso soup was a bit lacking; it didnt have the richness or saltiness I am used to with miso soup, which was disappointing, but it might be because it doesnt have bonito in it. Still, I think vegan miso soup could still be a little more flavorful than this was. I was mostly full on just the roll and soup but I hadnt eaten all day and I was enjoying the company of my server so I decided to hang out for a little while longer and I ordered a hand roll, which was pretty good.I definitely want to come back to this place. Itd be a great place to bring my girlfriend. I wish I lived a little closer, though; its a bit out of the way but if Im ever in the area again Im definitely stopping by.
Dai Sushi
16492 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
So, I gotta tell you about this awesome place I tried out called Dai Sushi. Let me start by saying, the people there are just amazing! Super friendly and attentive, they kept coming around to refill our water without us even asking. It felt like we were being treated like sushi royalty! Now, lets talk about the real star of the show - their sushi! Man, oh man, was it fresh and amazing! Each piece was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. The sashimi was so delicate and melt-in-your-mouth, and the maki rolls were like little pieces of art. I swear the chef must be a sushi wizard or something! And guess what? It wont break the bank! The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and experience they offered. You get to enjoy top-notch sushi without draining your wallet. Its a win-win!But wait, theres more! The vibe inside Dai Sushi was cozy and inviting. Its the kind of place where you can kick back and enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether youre hanging out with friends or celebrating something special, this place fits the bill.To sum it all up, Dai Sushi totally won my heart. The super nice people, the fantastic sushi, and the great prices make it a spot Ill definitely be coming back to. So, if youre a sushi lover like me, do yourself a favor and give Dai Sushi a shot. Trust me, you wont be disappointed!
Thanh Do Restaurant

If you want to experience what a Vietnamese meal looks like, dont skip this place. This restaurant serves food in the style of northern Vietnam, which is very cool. Ive always wanted to try North Vietnamese food but havent had a chance until today. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered a lot of food for 2, but everything was delicious except for the tofu and lemongrass. It was a little salty for me, and they do provide a free dessert at the end of your meal. I will come back again for sure..P/s: the parking is difficult to get in- out and quite small.
Pho 101
8031 Edinger Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Kiddy corner from Bella Terra, this roomy pho restaurant feels like the new and modern complex across the street. It’s clean and the pho was both very filling and tasty. The medium was HUGE and you get to select up to 4 meat/fillings (like tofu) - I got the rare beef, brisket and tofu. I couldn’t finish the medium because it was so much. I can’t imagine what the large would be like. I’ll be back.
Dawa kitchen
12506 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92843, United States
The problem is place is very small for such a big appetite. Lol we arrived there not long before they opened. You had to add yourself on the waiting list. They seat you pretty fast but waiting for the waitress was a little longer . Because it was a small place, it filled up pretty fast. Inside is clean, great environment. We ordered beef belly, Dawa chicken, chicken katsu with curry and mundo.Mundo. my favorite ... beef belly!!!! ?? oh em gee!!! That was thr best mix I ever had. Very simple on a hot plate. !! Hubby enjoyed the curry katsu. This place is a must visit for foodies ❤️. Our bill came out about $85 .. well worth it.
Hong Kong Express

I've came here several times even before it became tik tok famous, i hadn't visited in a while because it never stood out to me. However recently people have been talking about it so i wanted to check it out again. There is always a line usually around 7 or more people and average wait time is probably about 10 to 15 minutes to order. The prices are a little higher than other Chinese food restaurants that I've been too but not too bad. There is only about 4 tables and place is small so probably not the best idea to eat there especially since everyone who is in line to order is starting at you and your food. They have good selection and they pack your plate, we ordered a combo 3 and 2 of us shared it, by the time we were done we still had a full plate the portions are big. The taste is not bad, the orange chicken was my favorite. However after eating this we both felt sick to our stomachs i felt like maybe too much msg, the customer service is good they are friendly and nice. Over all if you're in the area, hungry and don't mind waiting it's a good place but if you're looking for good Chinese food i wouldn't come here especially cause of the wait and the after effects.
