Pieology Pizzeria Apple Valley, CA
12218 Apple Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
We came into the restaurant right at noon to an empty dining room area aside from a single patron already seated. We walked up to the counter where I made eye contact with Daniel who immediately looked down at what I assumeTo be an online order he was very slowly preparing. We then waited another 3 minutes quietly as he then placed that pizza in the oven, still not one word or acknowledgment. Finally he walked over to where we were, and another potential customer was now waiting behind us. My daughter says “hi” when he still didn't reply and then grabs another slip completely ignoring us and then starts to prepare another pizza. Not a “hello” or “I'll be with you in a moment” absolutely nothing. Daniel certainly needs to be overseen and properly trained to have basic customer service and I wouldn't recommend he be at the front of any establishment until he can in the very least acknowledge a 5 year old girls kind “hello”, let alone do his mindless job of being coached step by step by a customer as to how to prepare a pizza. With all of that said; we went elsewhere and will not return.
Nekter Juice Bar
18165 CA-18 Suite 2, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
Went here to try for the first time today in the late afternoon and did not leave disappointed. Upon entering the store (which was nice and clean) I was immediately greeted by staff. I got a Berry Banana Burst smoothie and enjoyed it. I see a few complaints pertaining to lack of flavor, and I can see why that might be said, but personally I don't like overly sweet smoothies (which I feel are what Juice It Up or Jamba Juice serve). Don't get me wrong, I love both, but I think Nekter falls under a healthier category in my opinion. If you read the ingredients they use common ingredients like cashew milk and agave nectar, which are less sweet than sugar and/or the juice that is added to smoothies ar Juice it Up or Jamba Juice. Of the other things they have, I noticed açaí bowls, chia parfaits, and a few different types of their own blend of vegan coconut crème ice cream. I would definitely go back and recommended this for those that want a healthy refreshing post workout snack or even just something light during the day.

Halleluiah BBQ
21920 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
Man oh Man, this place is soo Good ??So Im six month pregnant and I took an afternoon nap and had a dreamy craving. I was stuffing my face with some soul food and I woke up to realize ? it was all a dream. I was devastated ?. And living in the HD I havent herd of many soul food places . i was slightly hopless. ? so I googled with faith and came across Halleuiah BBQ. I quickly got ready to bust this mission to satisfy my pregnacy cravings. As I get to the restaurant and before I even open the door oh man the delicious smoky smell that radiated through the slightly cracked door was heavenly. I was greated by friendly faces and good vibes ?. It was 3 or 4 young men working the kitchen and counter. I ordered a family dinner combo with ribs, brisket and chicken with sides. greens ? ? Mac and cheese, BBQ beans and a pulled chicken sandwich. I finally took my first bite of my sandwich and it was sooo satisfying so smokey peppery and sweet. It was an explanation of flavor in my mouth. If you have ever had a craving so intense that is finally satisfied with exactly what you want this was my experience here at Hallelujah BBQ ?. The greens were soo yummy savory smoky and slight hint of sweet ?. BBQ beans were definitely home made. The brisket was sooo tender and juicy smothered in home made BBQ sauce to die for. My dad had the ribs he had no complaints. I definitely recommend this place ? 110% I will definitely be back to satisfy my soul with this delicious ? ? food.
Spirit River Caf
16020 Apple Valley Rd b4, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
One of the best joints in Apple Valley! As if this review they are open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. They are located in the plaza at the corner of AV Rd. and Hwy 18. They are in the plaza with the statue of Roy Rogers horse Trigger out front. As a side not this horse sculpture is huge and can be seen AV Road as your landmark of where to find Spirit River. This is the original sculpture from the Roy Rogers museum. It is my understanding someone was offended by the horses sculpted anatomy and it was removed prior to displaying it here. There was a newspaper article about this not too long ago. Lol.Seating is a bit limited but they have outdoor seating with heaters as well. Service and the food as been always great for our family. One of our favorites is the chicken fried steak meal. It is absolutely large in size and enough for two people! The gravy is also delicious and we usually get the gravy on the side. You have your choice of country potatoes or hash browns, eggs, toast or biscuits and gravy. The gravy also comes with large slices of sausage which also adds to the flavor.Be prepared to wait during breakfast time, but even then its not too bad unless you are a very large party. I believe there are no reservations so first come first serve.Staff is always nice and friendly. They accept credit card, cash etc. I dont believe Apple Pay but could be wrong.I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.I support Apple Valley businesses who show integrity and great service! Support our town!
Captains Fish Tacos
12218 Apple Valley Rd #105, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
We have been here before and were satisfied with the food and service. Until today. I ordered my food online for pickup, and they gave a number to call if you had additional needs with your order. Im disabled, and wanted to have my order brought out to the vehicle. So I called the number, from the parking lot, at the time my food was supposed to be ready. The girl behind the counter asked me what I needed, I stated I was there to pickup an order, she responded what do you want to order and I said I already ordered, I am here to pickup...she responded so you want to order for pickup? So, I raised my voice so she could hear me, and she HUNG UP ON ME.I had to get out of the car, go inside, and they had music blaring over the speakers, and was basically ignored for 10 minutes. By the time time they got to me (no one else in there except gig drivers) I finally got my order, but I said something about her hanging up on me, and she said well you started yelling, well, yeah, because you cant hear me...I said turn down the music and start listening to your customers, and as I was walking out, I heard her mocking me to her coworkers. So I turned right back around and gave her the bird.I would have never posted this, even after all that. Until I got home, and feasted on absolute garbage. The fries were overcooked and stale, the meat and fish were scarce, and after this experience, Ill never be back. Nor will anyone I know.EDIT: I contacted the owner, and was given a refund. She was extremely apologetic, and said she would deal with it.
Organic Fusion Teahouse & Cafe
20162 U.S Hwy 18 Ste. I-J, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
First time trying this restaurant and even though I live in Big Bear, I will find reasons to come down just to eat and drink here. I had the vegetarian chow mein to eat. The noodles were perfectly cooked, flavored just right. The selection of vegetables made for a substantial meal. My friends enjoyed the fried rice with shrimp, and a beef soup bowl. We each had different Boba beverages and all were delicious! I will be bringing my husband back later next week. So good!
Las Brisas Restaurant
21919 CA-18, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
Bad on Valentunes Day 2024. I dont think we ever walked out of a restaurant once we were seated, but we did last night. Weve been here 4 or 5 times in the past couple years. Food was always ok not excellent, but we would come for the ambiance, the friendly service and the nice patio with kitty cats that came up to our table. There is always a wait for a table here, even if there are empty tables . Ok, so we waited about 20 minutes and got a table by the fire pit. The lady who seated us took off in a hurry and expected my 73 year old husband with a cane and his arm in a cast to follow her like lightening. She seemed irritated my husband lagged behind. Not off to a great start. We asked the server why the menu had changed and was so limited. She impatiently told us its Valentines Day and thats what they have available and walked off. Lasts years menu was a full menu, so this was disappointing and we were having difficulty choosing what we wanted from such limited choices. I understand some restaurants have a more limited menu on busy holidays and unfortunately they didnt have anything listed we wanted. My husband politely asked for mild salsa and instead of the server kindly obliging as other servers always have, she told us it was mild. It was fairly spicy, too hot for us. It seemed this server truly didnt like our presence, as if perhaps she was our enemy in a past life. ? We are never rude customers and respect the difficulty of a servers job, but at this point, I suggested to my husband that we find a friendlier place to eat, so that is what we did. Our evening was salvaged by a different place with friendly service, good food and a full menu.
Pho Belwood
21520 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
The Pho is amazing new spot, a must go. The soups are delicious, customizable (vegan or vegetarian options too) and really great if youre extra hungry! The owner is super kind, helpful and is on a mission for great customer service and healthy MSG free meals for our community. I cant rave enough about how great my experience and food was; even our waiter was the kindest waiter Ive met. Im so glad I stumbled onto this new restaurant after the day I had.
