Exceeding my expectations - Michelle.I just changed my review, from 1 (-10 is what they deserved) to a 5 star now. My reviews are not based on a 1 time visit, they are based on an average of 30 visits or more.In this case, 3 months, basically daily. I changed ny review mainly because of one employee, Michelle. She has always been great, fantastic. Consistently very friendly, efficient, competent and on top.I gave it a try again after 3 months after not going there anymore. And now the store has improved a lot. There is a new manager now too, Ben is his name. Very friendly, very competent. Because of him, I also see how much more seriously the employees take their job, and are now friendlier too, and the place is much cleaner with a better vibe.So happy my favorite store is back and on the up again. It took a lot for me to go back. Thats definitely thanks to Michelle for me personally, for making my orders the way she did every day.OLD REVIEW.When this place opened, it was great. I came everey day single day for 2 months. It was great. Then management changed I believe, definitely a few of the great employees left and then it was a different store. It was awful. This last summer and fall. This was my previous review. I gave it a 1, because a -10 was not available.EVERY SONGLE TIME I get upset. Now Im done. Not returning. The staff is SO RUDE, mean, careless and lazy. At times even provocative. And they ignore you. Especially if youre nice. The worst staff. Unbelievable. VERY POOR manager with hiring and training. The place is disgusting too!!!! There is never one single spot cleaned up, food and trash on the floor and it stays that way for hours. Ive bene bringing clients, friends and new business people and it just embarrassing, from the service to the place. I even have to make up excuses for why the place is so awful. Thats it. Not coming here anymore for a few months.

It is one of the high end North Indian restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills. You will end up lying a minimum of $30-50 per person in here. I like the regular menu more than the buffet. I am a vegetarian and I love some of their appetizers and main entries. I usually have visited once every few months and the menu does keep changing for good. It’s a classic ambience and they have a decent bar with many cocktails and mock-tails. Desserts are nice as well. Overall a good dining experience if you keep the money part aside.

Delicious food and very inexpensive. Before I came, I didnt like the idea of a vegetarian restaurant, but their food is so good that I forgot the meat wasnt real! Great location with easy parking. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Sandwich - Olympic Blvd.

The hummus is good, but they are way overpriced. This is basically a fast food mediterranean diner, so the price has to reflect that but they charge as if they are a much higher end restaurant. This neighborhood has a lot of competition in Jewish, Kosher and Middle Eastern food and that specific location has a history of restaurants opening and closing and I feel the restaurants before them that closed did so cause they too were too expensive.I bought a small take home plastic container of hummus for about 10 bucks. You can buy the same container of Hummus for half - about 5 bucks at Whole foods or at any one of the various Israeli or Jewish supermarkets in the area like Samys on Fairfax that has their own label homemade tasting Hummus thats very good.We live in a time where many people just want to order take away or take out and eat at home and Mediterranean food offers a healthy and relatively cheap option.I believe that people going to Dr. Sandwich arent looking for a high end dining experience but rather for fast and cheap healthy tasty food for the whole family.Ive seen so many restaurants like Dr. Sandwich with good Middle Eastern food fail and close over the last few years cause their prices were too high for this area and after the initial curiosity the customer base dwindled.Ive gone to Dr. Sandwich 3 times and the place was always empty.I think their food is solid and hope they stay in the neighborhood so I hope they lower the price of their food by 25-30 % - especially their take out foods like their Hummus containers - so that they will be competitive and not eventually close.

Vegan croissants!! And amazing ones, at that! Ive been dying to visit Chaumont Vegan for a while and was not at all disappointed when I did. We came on a Sunday morning around 10:30am for breakfast and something sweet. It wasnt too busy and we had no problem securing a table outside. The staff was very friendly and patient in explaining what all the amazing goodies were. It was tough not to get one of everything! What we ordered: egg & cheese croissant sandwich (loved it), zaatar argane pizza (loved it, comes with cheese on top), zaatar croissant (pass - love zaatar but didnt wow me on a croissant), matcha croissant (loved it - favorite sweet one), and almond croissant (loved it). Plus a soy milk matcha latte for me!We also got a few to go (because why not? ;)) - pain au chocolat, earl gray croissant, and chocolate orange croissant. All of them were great. The only part of the experience I didnt like was receiving my matcha latte in a paper take-away cup despite the fact that we were dining on the spot, and got plates and cutlery with our food.FYI there are parking garages around Beverly Hills that allow you to park for free for the first 2 hours (win). Also expect typical LA prices - this spot isnt cheap, unless youre stopping by for a single croissant (but who has that kind of self control?!).Will I visit again? YOU BET.

This restaurant is an absolute favorite of mine! Not only do they offer a delightful array of vegetarian options, but their selection of sushi, meat, and fish dishes is equally impressive. The service here is great, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The food is so incredibly delicious that I couldnt resist indulging without pausing to snap pictures of everything. If you ever get the opportunity, make sure to try their tuna crispy rice – they are simply amazing! And lets not forget about their exceptional hamachi plate!I cant recommend this place enough.
Blasteran

I had the pleasure of dining at Blasteran with five of my vegetarian friends last week, and we were all blown away by the incredible food and atmosphere. The classic veggie-forward American menu with some Indonesian dishes was absolutely delicious, and the unfussy setting was just perfect for a casual night out.As a vegetarian myself, I always appreciate when restaurants go above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs, and Blasteran definitely did not disappoint. From the flavorful vegetable skewers to the perfectly cooked tempeh, every dish was bursting with flavor and packed with fresh, wholesome ingredients. The service was also exceptional - our waiter was attentive and friendly, and made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I highly recommend Blasteran to anyone looking for a delicious vegetarian meal in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful evening!Best regards,George AntonP.S. The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills
9705 S Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States
Although the staff was not that forthright about seeing if we had any questions, once they did make first contact, I was astounded by their expertise about the wide selection. I bought 3 rounds of camembert and 0.5 lbs of smoked scamorza, which is a south italian cows milk cheese. I also asked for an employee (possibly the owner?) to recommend two triple cream cheeses to me, and I bought the one that I liked more after taste testing them. All of the cheeses have been exceptional so far --definitely worth the high prices. When I asked for a moderately priced cheese, one person behind the counter commented with refreshing honesty that nothing here is moderately priced. However, as much comes with the territory of Beverly Hills. Notably, the cheeses were wrapped in butcher paper, which I liked because I think it helps the cheeses to breath and to keep fresh.I withhold one star because almost many of the cheeses lacked price tags, names, or descriptions, which made me feel somewhat at the mercy of the employees limited time and advice. Although I was told the name of my triple cream once, I wish that they had offered to write it down for me, because its foreign syllables left my brain nearly as quickly as it entered them, and I would have loved to research the cheese so that I can buy more in the future. When I asked why they didnt label the cheeses, one employee remarked that they did so in the past but had to remove the labels since they were posted on cheese markers that penetrated the wrapping, apparently violating health codes. However, I dont understand why they cant label the cheeses with regular labels, like at other cheese stores.
