Taco Bell
68509 E Palm Canyon Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234, United States
Ive been coming to this taco bell for 6 years. Ive ALWAYS had my service dog with me. I Asked that they open the restroom to wash my hands, a employ did. As I was, another employee came in with the door still open, yelling at me to get the dog out and isnt allowed. She was about 17 years old and Im 54. I nicely said he is my service animal and Ive been a customer longer than shes worked here, she told me she didnt care and now she doesnt have to service me and I was a liar that my dog wasnt a service dog. She then demanded too see PAPERWORK she also demanded what kind of TRICKS OR THINGS HE DOES I thought in my head, I can not communicate with this uneducated, disrespectful little girl so, I asked her to get her manager. She replied and putting her hand on her chest, looking at me as if I was stupid to ask such a question, she replied I ÀM THE MANAGER AND IF YOU DONT GET OUT, IM CALLING THE POLICE Wow, I was thinking what a shame, her customer service skills and attitude are definitely -0 . I cant even give it 1 star. Needles to say but, Iam, I called the taco bell by my house and spoke with that manager Maria, she handled it quite well and she should be given a raise. I was quite pleased . She should be a trainer for all taco bell restraunt s with a pay raise. The little girl with gross dusreoect should be lets go as an employee of taco bell to learn a valuable lesson. That girl was not wearing a name tag and told me she didnt have to tell me her name. I told her thats fine, that her character stands out loud and truly shines off her that people who come there regularly, Im sure gas already given her a name and probably should ask Gud to help her correct herself in becoming a nice young lady. Shame on her.

Stopped by around 9:30 pm on 12 May after hauling my 17ft trailer from New Mexico. Their dining area was closed but the drive thru was still open. I knocked on the door because I didnt want to maneuver the trailer through the drive thru. A gentleman pointed to the drive thru, and I replied by pointing to my trailer. He came to open the door but he said I had to use the drive thru. I asked if he really wanted me to maneuver the trailer through there. He then made a call over the headset and replied that theres nothing he can do because the manager said I had to use the drive thru. He mentioned the manager is female and she said that McDonalds is open so I could go there. I would have been happy to order something to go but it was a hard no from the manager. So I did what any sensible person would do with a craving for Taco Bell. I dragged the trailer through the drive thru. Im gonna get my Taco Bell, drive thru be damned!!After clearing the 9ft clearance bar, I approached the intercom and a female voice came over. I proceeded to order my Steak Power Burrito then made a wide turn to go to the window. The night manager definitely was not expecting that. ?From the receipt, her name is Anita. If there was a different female manager on shift then please reply and let me know. Dont want to put on blast the wrong person. I have also attached a picture of my rig and the receipt from that eventful night.Your move Taco Bell!

My husband and I went Saturday for the first time to this new restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the owner. Very clean and nice inside. We were told beer and wine are coming soon! We each ordered different hot dogs. I had the Chicago dog because I love relish and a little heat with the peppers. My husband had 2 kosher dogs with his own toppings. You can choose 3 toppings. Both of us loved our hot dogs. Ive already decided when I go back Ill order the kraut dog or the bacon wrapped one with the avocado (forgot the name but its the first one listed on the menu.) They also have chili. I also ordered the cole slaw which was crisp and cold and slightly sweet just like I like it. All of the dogs are either kosher all beef or Nathans all beef. Very high quality products are used. Please give this place a try. Free parking in the front.

Kpop Foodz - Korean Food

Hole in the wall Korean food place...with AUTHENTIC Korean food, I should add. Have missed good Bibimbap since moving from LA and close proximity to K Town...finally found it at K Pop. Owners work the kitchen and are extremely nice. Service is spotty only because they are in that opening phase...it will get better. If you like Korean fast food, K Pop is the perfect choice!

Brunch 101
68718 E Palm Canyon Dr STE 101, Cathedral City, CA 92234, United States
Im going to be critical only because of the prices: Food is very simple but fresh. My chicken for my Sante Fe Salad was very over seasoned I had to fight the urge to sneeze with each bite. Good salad overall though. Salsa spice level was perfect although very salty too. Cotija cheese was sloppily put in my salad as globs instead of it being finely spread when its freshly grated. The steak looked decent & the potatoes with it were very flavorful. The French Toast looked amazing. My brother in law ate a hearty amount & hes a featherweight class. We did wait 25 minutes to be seated despite coming early. Then as my parties dining experience went on It made sense on the long table turnover. Bus boy comes to take plates and offers trays only to forget them. I had to get up & ask myself after 15 mins & then another 10 mins to tell them we were ready for the check. Which should have been obvious 15 mins prior when they got the take home boxes.TL;DR- Food is decent but I expect more for the inflated prices. Prices dont line up with the experience. Very small restaurant. Staff needs to be more aware of table times and turnover so parties arent waiting on servers to dismiss. Over seasoning but overall forgiveable. Place seems more suited for daytime drinking but thats obvious from the name.

Trader Joes
67720 E Palm Canyon Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234, United States
We are visiting from South Orange County. We visit Palm Springs often and have for years. Whenever we are here our first stop is always Trader Joe's. One of the great things about TJs is that they are consistently clean, well stocked and super friendly. You can always find the items you like here. The produce is fresh and beautiful. We grilled some salmon the other night that we purchased here. It was perfection! What most people (that don't shop here) don't realize is that TJs is so inexpensive. I get it. It LOOKS expensive. And the quality of the food would be much higher priced anywhere else. But it's very competitively priced. I paid the same amount per pound for TJs salmon that I would have paid at any other chain grocery store. But the quality of the seafood at TJs is just so much better. Give it a try. Seriously. The staff is always nice and if there's a wait they always open more register. Always. One last thing. If you are trying to improve the way you eat and want quality, start here. I wouldn't know how to feed my family without Trader Joe's.

Trilussa

Last night, I ordered a meal to go. I ordered the “Build Your Own Pasta” and chose mussels and clams with penne pasta, but I wanted to switch the sauce to a pink sauce or “vodka rosé sauce without the bacon.” I understand that my order can be confusing and it can be handled differently every time. I've had where the chef refuses to cook it that way, where there's an extra charge, and more. I've been flexible with however the establishment wants to handle it. But, they always found a way to accommodate. But, last night was the worst. First, the hostess was trying to charge me for two separate plates for my one plate. Then, she says, “Yeah, we can't do that.” with no alternative. Then, I suggested if I could JUST have the sauce on the side. I ended up ordering my plate plus the side of sauce. They told me that it would be ready in 25 mins (I get there in 35 mins). When I went to pick up my food, I waited an additional 15 minutes because the food was still not ready. That's when I noticed the check. I was charged $18 for a side of “vodka rosé” sauce! $18!!!!! That is ridiculous!!! Especially when the “vodka rosé” plate was $18.95, which included pasta!!!!! And I was never ONCE told about the cost of the sauce!! THEN…. Before I left, I checked the order. I was missing an entire meal (fettuccine chicken Alfredo), and the hostess informed us that the chef missed it on the ticket. So, I had to wait another 15 minutes for the chef to make the forgotten meal. In that time, no apologies were made, no accommodations, nothing! Prior to posting, I tried contacting them through email, but it automatically blocks you when trying to send one. It's been very frustrating!!! After all this, I left them a $15 tip ONLY because I had to pay before I got my meal. I just want to make this clear. This review was based SOLEY on customer service and not the food.

Salsas Restaurant
69020 E Palm Canyon Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234, United States
Salsas Restaurant - MediocreAfter reading all the rave reviews, we thought we'd try out Salsas Restaurant (111 and Date Palm, Cat City). Before we even ordered, we had some serious doubts about this place. We almost left before being seated. If you like ultra bright coffee shop lighting, tables and decor coupled with a noise level so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, much less talk to one another, then this just might be your place. The service was friendly but rather slow considering how small the place is. Although Salsas touts their seafood lineup, I wanted to order the same standard dish I've eaten at countless Mexican restaurants here in SoCal, just to get a feel for how good their food is. (It's not the specialties that make a solid restaurant, it's how well they can do the basics.)I ordered chicken enchiladas verde with beans and rice and a margarita to drink. Unfortunately, only one style of beans are offered here, the standard greasy refried type. Once the plate arrived, I was certainly surprised. Their version of this dish was placing three finger-diameter enchiladas stuffed with nothing but shredded chicken side by side, sprinkling a bit of Munster cheese over them and then trenching all three with a tasteless green sauce. It didn't appear they'd even tried to bake the sauce and cheese onto the enchiladas! It was the most boring plate I'd been served in a long time. Ive bought better verde sauce out of a supermarket bottle. (Actually, they should have tried that. They'd have gotten better results.). Even the refried beans were absolutely tasteless! Just sort of pale, flesh-colored paste. The rice was serviceable and the “salad” that was supposed to come with the plate consisted of a tiny bit of shredded lettuce dropped on its corner, half a small tomato and a slice of cucumber. It was more like a plate garnish than a salad. Remember, this is all going on under interrogation strength lights and the din of the room.Thinking well maybe my plate is a one-off (it can happen), I asked my husband how his food was. The same. Edible but CERTAINLY unremarkable. So we ate our food pretty much in silence (since we couldn't hear each other anyway), paid the bill and left. I will say as positives, the three generations margarita was quite good and well worth the $9.00. And even with that one drink and two dinners, we still got out of there just under $40.00. So their pricing is not bad. But ya get what ya pay for.If any of this sounds appealing to you, by all means please go for it. But for us, there's just too many FAR superior, reasonably priced Mexican restaurants to choose from - even with a mile of this place. So I very seriously doubt we'll be going back. But we tried it. Ya live and learn.

We’re in town from San Diego for a couple of days to hike around Joshua tree so of course we were hungry when we got back and found this nice restaurant near our hotel at the Hilton Doubletree. The service was awesome and the food was amazing. I highly recommend it! The beef flautas were delicious and my vegetarian wife got a wonderful bean quesadilla!

Memos Sushi
68 655 Ramon Rd A, Cathedral City, CA 92234, United States
This is one of the best sushi places in the whole Coachella Valley. It's family owned and operated, it's a hidden gem! PLEASE NOTE!!! The reviews of the 1 star, are not really reviews. I eat at this place once a week, they have signs posted on each table explaining the credit card processing fee. I don't understand why people complain for paying for their own processing fee, AMPM does it, and most establishments are moving towards, passing the credit card fees on to their clients and that's okay! We as consumers need to understand that a business has so many bills, (Rent, business Insurance, Workers comp, payroll fees, sales tax, income tax) and the list goes on. Why do we give them bad reviews when all they are trying to do is provide a good service? A 4% surcharge on my own bill for using my own credit card is NOT a big deal! Memo's sushi has not increased their prices since Memo took over this business. There's sushi restaurants that are charging $18.95 per roll, yet Memo still keeps his prices low and all he does is pass on the credit card fees to us. I feel that this is a fair trade off. Let's stop complaining over cents and start supporting the local business owners that have been hit severely hard cause of COVID! It's either that or we tell Memo to raise his prices and cover the cost of processing credit cards. STOP COMPLAINING!!!! A $75 bill cost you a $3 processing fee on your card…. Your complaining over $3!!!???? Really?? Am I understanding this correctly that a consumer can't pay a $3 fee for your OWN credit card! Then do yourself a favor and stay home! Otherwise if your reading this review, support your local restaurants and don't give bad reviews for $3!!!?!!!!! Thank you Memo for your good food and service, don't worry about these snowbirds and non- locals, and Canadians!!! Keep providing your good food and good service and like I said I don't mind paying my own credit card processing!
