Noodles Fresh El Cerrito CA.Chinese Cuisine
10042 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
My family quite enjoys this place, and I got to go with them recently for my first time recently and I also enjoyed it. They have a good number of items that are vegetarian and can be made vegan, and also a good number of items that can be made gluten-free. There is a small subset of these that can be both vegan and gluten-free, which made me happy. One of these was the Vegetarian Stir-Fry Noodles, which I got. It was good, though, perhaps a bit bland. Maybe it was a misunderstanding with our server, because she said that the dish normally comes medium-spicy, and I said I was fine with medium-spicy, but there was zero spice to it at all, like they had omitted the chilis for some reason. Oh well ... nothing a little Sriracha (which they have) cant fix.Lots of options for noodle stir-frys, noodle soup bowls, and rice dishes. A little bit of something for everyone. Even a nice list of appetizers, too.Service was good, and our servers were attentive enough. I would come here again.

La Estrella Food Truck
10458 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
Ordered two wet burritos (al pastor and steak). The steak burrito was okay, the meat was lacking in flavor from being grilled or seasoned. If it wasnt for the rest of the ingredients the burrito would have been mediocre at best. The sauce on top of the burrito was good and flavorful. The al pastor burrito was really good. The whole thing was almost spilling out of the container. The meat was really good and flavorful with really good grilling flavor and seasoning. Next time I order, Ill get me another al pastor instead of steak.Update 10/29/2022: ordered another two Wet burritos one with AL Pastor and the other Carnitas. Both were great. The al pastor was seasoned well and tasted great. The carnitas meat was tasty with that deep fried taste and well seasoned and plenty of meat. I also ordered a California Super Burrito with fish. The burrito overall tasted good but the only thing I didnt like was that the fries tasted stake like it was sitting out for awhile under a heat lamp and there wasnt much fish in the burrito, I thought there would be a whole fish filet or two but instead the fish looked like it was chopped up into cubes. There was more fries than there was fish which was kind of annoying since I paid extra $3 for the fish and there was only a few cubes of the fish.

Ikes Love & Sandwiches
350 El Cerrito Plaza, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
As a long-time patron of Ike's, Im deeply disappointed by the recent decline in both portion sizes and quality. In the pre-pandemic era, Ike's sandwiches were renowned for their generous portions, often providing enough for two meals. However, my recent experiences have left me feeling like Ive received nothing more than a snack.Even opting for the gluten-free option, which one would expect to be of comparable size to other sandwiches, yielded a portion that was shockingly small. Comparing them to sandwiches from Safeway only exacerbates the disappointment.Furthermore, not only have the portions shrunk, but the quality has also noticeably declined. The ingredients no longer seem as fresh or flavorful as they once were. The sandwich I received today lacked the taste and satisfaction Ive come to expect from Ikes. While I initially noticed a reduction in size six months ago, the sandwiches I received today were even smaller than before. With prices exceeding $15, the value proposition has significantly diminished.Ikes, once known for its hearty sandwiches and reasonable prices, now leaves much to be desired. Unless portion sizes are restored to their former glory and the quality of ingredients improved, I can no longer justify the expense for what feels like an inadequate and lackluster meal.

Antojitos Guatemaltecos
11252 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
Went here a couple weeks ago, really good food, very reasonable prices for the quality. I've never had Guatemalan food, this was delicious. Had the rice tamale, desayuno chapin (with pork sausage), garnachas, and empanadas. Had enough to feed me and my parents for breakfast/lunch and even had left overs after. Rice tamale reminded me of Chinese rice tamale, flavorful and savory. Garnachas had a crunch to them (mini toasted tortilla underneath) and with the meat and pickled vegetables in each bite, it gave so much satisfaction. Empanadas we're on point. The desayuno chapin (breakfast) came with eggs, pork sausage, beans and there was something else but I forgot. Pork sausage was incredible. Also had Elote hot drink. Sweet corn hot drink that reminded me of Chinese Red bean soup (sweet). Very good especially on rainy day.Highlights: high quality food, you can taste the ingredients, so much love and care put into cooking and presentation. Service was great as well! Food came out on time and she even provided a box to carry my food in.Definitely going back again when I'm in the area. Thank you!!

Super Slice Pizza
10180 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
I went in yesterday For the 1st time And got a Slice of pepperoni pizza. It was delicious. I love the fact that you can just get a slice and the slice was so huge, 2 people could have eaten it. I should have saved 1/2, but it was so good I ate it all. Next time Ill tell it to have and save half. The pepperoni was very fresh and good and I like the Taste of the sauce very much. The crust was thin and crisp and tasty . The gentleman who served me there, I assume its the owner, was very nice, helpful, Welcoming, friendly and informative. He answered all my questions. I forgot to ask him if they deliver yet.Someone, maybe him,was advertising by the side walk holding up a sign. Maybe about a week ago. I asked about it and he said they were trying to get that together but I dont know if they did yet. But its a very convenient location to get to. I thought the pizza was delicious and I hope more people hear about them and go there.

Bnh M Ba L Vietnamese Sandwich Deli
10174 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
If youre not Vietnamese read this review, because if you are Vietnamese in any way you already know this place is great... Friendly and fast folks working in this small store filled with Vietnamese / Asian snacks, drinks and the main focus is on tasty sandwiches! You know its good food and a great deal because its usually busy but the line moves very quickly. My favorite sandwich is the bacon, which is like a warm char siu /red around the edge of the meat, thick Sliced pork with the fat on it. Ive also had their BBQ char siu pork(red finely shredded pork) sandwich and their BBQ chicken sandwich, which is finely shredded chicken mixed with mild chicken like spices (dark yellow color). Those were both tasty but might not be what you think of as BBQ pork or BBQ chicken because they are so finely shredded. You can ask for the sandwich roll not to be toasted, which if youre eating it in your car I recommend because the crumbs will go everywhere if its toasted. Toasted or not its still a good and full sandwich with plenty of vegetables with the big bonus of having the sandwiches sliced green peppers not being too hot/spicy, unlike most Vietnamese sandwich stores. I havent tried the other sandwiches but the #2 seems very popular and as soon as I try others, I will list them here.A quick note about one of the other pre-made ready to go foods available besides the sandwiches, its their delicious raw young papaya (sliced thin strips) salad, because it is fresh and traditionally made, a very small percentage of humans might be a little bit allergic to the small quantity of natural latex like ingredients that can naturally occur in it. If you feel a tingling in your throat or breathing is affected stop eating it, even though it tastes So delicious.Lastly, I recommend everyone try a sandwich here. There are other food choices in this peppermint tree plaza strip mall but I think this is the best value for your dollar and it tastes delicious!!!

New Dumpling
10064 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
We went there when this place first opened and it was amazing and I went there today and got some takeout and it was just as amazing. For dipping sauce I mixed soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin. It might not be quite how they would do it in the restaurants but it was delightful. Over half the menu contains pork and a lot of the items are meat so if you have vegetarian or kosher preferences you might have a hard time there there are a few vegetarian items. I really enjoyed the scallion pancakes.

Brasil Bistro
11866 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
The best and the most authentic Brazilian food in the Bay Area! Anything you get will be exceptionally tasty and fresh; from vegetarian plates through chicken, pork or beef steaks to feijoadas and desserts. Also, amazing coxinhas and other pastries. And really great freshly squeezed juices! Very polite and friendly customer service over the phone as well as at the restaurant. We moved to the East Bay for many reasons and, believe or not, being close to Brazil Bistro was one of them :)Oh, they also sell Guarana Soda, Diet Guarana Soda and many other Brazilian products!

Rialto Cinemas Cerrito
10070 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
Literally a historical landmark with a friendly small family vibe where people can actually comfortably enjoy the entertainment of the cinematic experience they came to see. Ran by a group of all differently interesting personalites so insync with eachother that they effortlessly seem to manage and maintain ship to provide you the smooth stress free experience you expect to have on an special outing event like going out to the Movie theater used to and should still be. Their kitchen staff offers and skillfully provides an interesting array of food choices prepared with many varieties of classic and rarely used luxury ingridents cooked to delicious downhome perfection. The quaint cozy little side Bar area called The Scene has a classic relaxing fancy lounge atmosphere, with wine options served in real stemware. Most usually bar is tended by a distintly uniqe guy that gives the place a slight OG sportsbar edge as he draws you a nice full pint of different draft or lauger beers of choice. The scene menu even offers a small array of thoughtfully unique doeuvres like ricotta stuffed mushrooms or sauteed brussell sprots with prosciutto. So regardless if your alone, on a date or with family, the Rialto Cinemas is fun for all.
