Chicken Dijon - Mediterranean Restaurant Cateri...

I never intended on leaving a public negative review, but the response you left on my friends review about our experience was so disappointing that it prompted me to do so. In my opinion, if it takes you a year to respond, you may as well not respond at all. You said we should have reached out instead of leaving a bad review... we did. We sent emails and none of them were responded to. Nobody claimed to have gotten food poisoning symptoms within 2 hours, that was your own assumption. Im also going to go ahead and make an assumption that youre not a qualified physician to tell someone whether or not they experienced food poisoning symptoms... one year after the fact. Your review helps nobody, sir or maam, neither did your response. Saying youre a family business doesnt make you above criticism, thats a cop out. Your store had a B rating at the time, a bug was in my food, and the grape leaves were likely old or simply not held at the proper temperature. I appreciate that youre a small family business, but you have the same responsibility as a corporate chain restaurant to maintain food quality standards and fix the root of the issue rather than blame your guest for the method in which they brought the issue to your attention. Thanks for listening, looking forward to your response.

Ikes Love & Sandwiches

Drove by looking for Which wich but didnt realize they closed. As I rolled up, decided to give it a shot. Was hungry, and didnt want to drive anywhere else in rush hour traffic. I was starving. I guess they just opened a week ago?First. This sandwich is not a traditional sandwich. Its very hearty. (at least the one I got) It reminded me something someone would make for you in a Chicago hot dog place.A little pricey but thats the price way pay now to live in LA unfortunately. The sandwich cost me just over $13. Sandwich Only) Comparing it to other sammich shops in the area, I was hoping it would be just a bit bigger for the price. Usually for $12 of food, Im eating it over 2 meals. That being said. The size and taste were right. As I sit here developing food coma deciding what to write.Their menu is HUUUGE. And its all crazy options you probably havent seen before. Im not one who likes to see a ton of things with different ingredients then have it customized to what I want. So I had the default version of 240.Madison Bumgarner. With the Dutch Crunch bread. First time having it. Delish. Not spicy at all tho for me. But still really good. They have a vegetarian menu too.Im just gonna keep this simple and try not to overhype it. Try it out. I liked it a lot and cant wait to try out the rest of the sandwiches. There were at leat 6 I know Im coming back for over the new few months lol. I will have to pace myself tho. Sammiches are in the double digits... And I have to prepare for the weight gain lol. I wish them success and I hope their quality stays the same for years to come.Staff was great. The girl at the register knew her sandwiches and had great recommendations.Ill be back. With friends.

Nomad Eatery

This place sucks! We stopped by before goung to the movies. I was immediately enchanted with the decorum. Very small on the inside, with beautiful repurposed wooden tables, and candle holders. Fresh herbs sitting in pots on the bar, even the water glasses were made from old cut and polished wine bottles. Very cute and clever in my opinion. We were seated promptly, and after a few minutes, the dazed bar tender stopped by to take out order (not the best sign, to me) and ordered two coffees, two desserts, one appetizer, and one Irish coffee. Coffee was stale, our flat bread pizza was burnt, dripping with grease, and needed to be salted, the chocolate mousse topped with wipped cream was grainy and tasted of burned butter, and the caramel apple fondue consisted of a half an apple and an grainy caramel sauce. Waitstaff was unattentive, and seemed spacy, we were served our coffe without sugar milk or spoons. We requested sugar from three different people and were finally brought some splenda... :| after asking for a fourth time the bar tender said he would see if he could find some sugar and eventually brought some to the table. Normally I wouldnt rate so poorly, but out total bill was $57. I expect better food and service for such a price. I will not be back, and I will not recommend this place to my friends.

Petit Caf
630 N Pacific Coast Hwy #3a, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
Customer response: Thanks for your response Mr. Owner- You may use Basmati rice but I consumed daily at home. As you should know there are many brands of basmati rice namely, Aahu Barah, Royal White Basmati and Mother basmati just a name a few. I have been eating at your place for several years now and not knew. As a matter of fact twice on Oct 28. For lunch I had Full chicken kabob with rice-pick up order with rice WHICH was NOT cooked and crunchy in the middle. For dinner, I walked in and ordered Full Shrimp scampi and this time I skipped the rice and substitute with salad and vegetables. FYI- Your cooked forgot to give me the salad and too late when I realized it at home. You should take this as a way to improve and not be defensive. Eat the rice yourself randomly and you would know cooked rice vs. crunchy. I be back and try ordering again and keep you posted if things have improved. Thanks for listening. Sent you pictures of the basmati that we use at home. Hope this helps.Basmati rice not cooked in the middle. Rice should not be crunchy. It should be better steamed. A true basmati rice is long grain rice and what they use is short broken grain?

The Hummus Factory
1570-L Rosecrans Ave, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
I came in for lunch on 4/11/2023. The place looks a little depressing with dirty walls and minimal decor. When I walked in there was no one at the counter to greet me. There was someone prepping food but they didn't acknowledge me, not even when they had to walk past me at the counter to go out and deliver the food. When she came back she manned the register and took my order.I think it's a one man show.Good thing there were only 2 other people dining at the time.I ordered the chicken kabob plate that came with rice, salad, hummus, and a really good garlic sauce. It also came with a side of sad, dry pita that definitely came out of a bargain bag.The total was $22Generous portion of just ok, flavorless chicken served with a big pile of brown rice. The chicken tasted like very plain chicken and was over cooked.Hummus was good but the garlic sauce was the best thing on the plate.Walked through the service hall to get to the bathroom after and everything was so grungy and grossDefinitely not coming back.

What an unforgettable dining experience at Bruxie Chickens new location in El Segundo! This was our first time ever trying this restaurant, and we were blown away by the mouthwatering delights that awaited us.The star of the show was undoubtedly the Hot Honey Tenders and Chicken and Waffles. The flavors were out of this world! The combination of perfectly crispy chicken tenders drizzled with delectable hot honey and the fluffy waffles was a match made in culinary heaven. Each bite was a burst of pure joy, and we couldnt get enough. But thats not all; the Roxy sauce deserves its own round of applause. The Original Rinaldis Deli & Cafe
323 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
Looking for a great sandwich? This is the place. Rinaldis is consistently delicious. Every sandwich I tried is really good, and ordering the same one again is consistent to the one before. I always get a large because I think I will eat half and then the other half later, but its hard to stop eating, its so good.Over time, Ive had the Fireman, Godfather, Reuben, Turkey Meatballs and Beadnik Basil Pesto Chicken. The fireman is pastrami with pickles, mustard and cheese. Yum! Godfather looks more like an open faced sandwich. Its blanketed with melted cheese. After you eat it, you are super happy and need a nap.I recommend doing your best in saving some of the meatball sub for later. After it sits and the bread soaks up even more of the sauce, it becomes this mushy extra layer, but the bread itself holds up/you can still pick it up without making too much of a mess. The Reuben is a light version of the Fireman. It comes on Rye bread. Super good!Beadnik Basil Pesto Chicken has a generous layer of pesto, without overpowering the chicken and mixed with the cheese its a sandwich version of Chicken Pesto Alfredo pasta. The chips selection is excellent.

Brewport Tap House
204 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States
This was our second time coming to this place, with a few years in between visits. The first time was amazing. This time, not so much, unfortunately. The food was awful - practically inedible (but Im not the kind of person who will send something back, Ill just avoid going back to a place that makes the food so poorly). I had the spicy chicken sandwich, which was way overcooked, and the flavor was just... off. It wasnt spicy, it tasted kinda spoiled to be honest (not the meat itself, which was the consistency of leather; the sauce they had on it was not good). The salad was a messy, mostly rotten pile of baby spinach and kale, with so much dressing that it was also inedible. Now, on to the beer. My partner and I are a big fan of beer, and usually order flights wherever we go. We got a few beers here that were great, but unfortunately several of them tasted like line cleaner - I guess they dont do an initial pour off the taps when they open for the day? (We were there at lunchtime on a Friday, and the place was almost empty). One of the beers in particular, Mother Earths Milk Truck Latte Stout on nitro, was not right at all. Ive had this beer before, both on nitro and canned, and its rich, creamy, and delicious (and way better on nitro). This beer tasted watered down, and even when I let the glass sit for a minute, the color was completely off. I dont know what they did to the beer to make it come out like that, but it was literally undrinkable - it had the line cleaner taste too, like some of the other ones.Overall the visit was very disappointing, as I love the concept of a self-serve tap house, but at least when you get a flight in a brewery, the server will pour off the foam (not an option here, unless you want to pay to throw away beer), and get rid of the line-cleaner-stank that happens when lines sit with beer in them overnight.
