I am visiting from Oregon with my grandma and I needed a place to make a drink the was kinda custom I called about 20 places that claimed to make custom smoothies, then I called BZ fruits& juices inc and was told yes we can! And of course. I am visiting for 14 days and I have been in everyday for this smoothie! They know my drink and have keep the ingredients stocked, no matter what and have even keep ingredients set aside knowning I'll be in!I hands down will visit every time I am in town. They care about their customers and their experience while visiting. I am even planning to come back soon just off the experience they have providedThey are nice professional and family OWNED and OPERATED!! Which honestly makes this place all the better to visit. The store is clean and I mean spotless! The outside is clean as well there was no site of trash outside of a trash can! Everything is made right in front of you, meaning you can customize it to your like from start to finish. There isn't a bad thing to say about this business in my opinion! I hope you stop in and try something and support a local family owned business !

Putting this into perspective:This is a smaller place with less traffic than a usual restaurant.I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of bacon Mac n cheese. The pulled pork was good not to dry with a very good smokey taste. The sandwich bread didnt have spread and it was a little dry, but Ill give them credit for using a light amount of BBQ sauce.I hate BBQ sauce because people soak their food in it and it defeats the purpose. Here they use it well.Sandwich was $7 and it left me satisfied. However, the bacon Mac n cheese was okay. They do have a nice spicy kick to them but they are not creamy enough. Mac n cheese needs to be thick and creamy (the cheese portion). This side is pretty small with a price tag of $3... Its hard to defend the price based on the flavor alone.I tried my friends fries that he ordered with his chili cheeseburger. The fries were over seasoned and tastes like Lawrys seasoning salt. The ambience of the restaurant is modern industrial meets rustic old people. Service was good and friendly. Clearly this BBQ restaurant was designed with a bar at its core. They have local brewed beers with a $7 price tag for 16oz a little pricey, but it is local beer...If you are in the area, and really in the mood for BBQ then try it out. Yet, this place is not a must-have.
Bay Pok La Puente

My daughter ordered via Uber Eats, but the way her order was prepared is clearly the restaurant's fault. We were delivered a completely incorrect order. We ordered two pokè bowls, one of them being all tuna. We recieved only one bowl with what looks like the kitchen sink of pokè, we don't even know what. Maybe it's octopus with some saucy citrus, corn, and soy beans? Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. It was unappetizing and it's not what a pokè bowl should be expected to be. We are also missing other items, and now my two kids can't eat whet they expected for dinner. It seems like they just threw whatever they had left 20 minutes before closing. Never again. Yes, we are hangry.
Mariscos ROCAMAR
15424 Fairgrove Ave, La Puente, CA 91744, United States
Came to this place because I was invited. How ever this is like the saying of dont judge a book by its cover. From the outside it doesnt look so great. But once you open the doors and walk in its an entirely different world. This place is very clean, Art Deco is rustic and very ranch like. The servers were very easy going but enthusiastic at the same time (Great service from their part). The food was something that I did not expect. We got some shrimp cucarachas (roaches) and the way these thing are prepared is just an exciting party of flavor ready to explode in your mouth. They were delicious. Also tried the carne asada plate, comes with a side of rice, beans, and a small salad. The beef itself was very very flavorful and juicy. We also had a michelada and even this thing come with an excellent presentation that will not only enchant your eyes but leave your taste buds wanting more.Over all the food Is definitely something I would expect from a high end restaurant that might be overlooking the beach out somewhere expensive. But its not. Its in our neighborhood and its definitely a jewel in itself. I would recommend you go try this place.

I just moved to this area and wanted to try several italian restaurants to find my new favorite. I prefer to order online and carry out. They offer this service and it was very easy to navigate their website and place my order. The only thing is I wish they would add descriptions of each item and whats included in them, especially the sandwiches. The food was ready quickly and the staff was very friendly and professional. My food was piping hot and there was no sauce spilling out into the bag making a mess (which typically happens more often than not with italian food ?). I was impressed with the generous portions. I ordered half sizes of the ravioli and blackened chicken fettuccini and they were both still enough to make 2 meals each for me! So, Ill have lots of leftovers. They give FREE BREAD which is a huge plus. They were the softest, freshest garlic rolls that just melt in your mouth. I have to give major props to their red sauce recipe. It is legitimately one of the best pasta sauces Ive ever tasted. It has such a rich and deep flavor, with the slightest peppery finish that just lingers on your palate in the best way. I also am obsessed with their blackened chicken. The spice level is perfect and seriously addictive. Normally at other places I just get the chicken for the protein, but my focus is on the pasta. This time my focus was definitely on that chicken. Highly recommend this place. I love supporting independent / small businesses in general, but this one seriously deserves a try based on the amazing flavors alone. But the portions/speed/prices/cleanliness all exceeded my expectations.

Im always late for work too..Not just in the morning, but whenever Im out n about in the afternoon still not ready..Its like the Driver thru is more important than us people who order ahead..I would even order like 10 minutes before getting there n have to wait like 3 or 5 minutes when I get there.. I have seen many others go through what Im going through too..This needs to be fixed..I come here alot before heading to work. I was watching her before she took my order she was friendly n in a friendly way flirty, n I was giggling too. Pizza Supreme

To preface this If I could leave a zero star review I would. I usually have a pleasant experience when I come here. This time they had me waiting 45 minutes inside the restaurant for an order of 1 pizza I placed for pickup, they told me that they had put the wrong pizza in the oven on the first go. Understandable, the man offered me a beer or soda to make up for the mistake so I wasn't too upset. Until I got home and bit into the pizza, it was completely raw & doughy in the center. DISGUSTING!! I couldn't finish the pizza so I had to throw it in the trash. If you're going to keep me waiting for so long at least make sure my food is cooked. I would've been better off just getting a frozen pizza and making it at home, definitely not worth the 25 dollars I spent on takeout.
Crazy RockN Sushi - La Puente

I decided to give this place a try with a friend after trying one of their other locations a while back in Hollywood. We got there when doors opened at 11:30 AM, and was offered to dine in, but their patio was not open, so we ended up having to order to go since we did not feel safe to eat indoors. They said that they didn't have enough staff to open the patio, which is understandable, but I thought that during this pandemic that they would end up seating people outside first before inside. We did attempt to take a seat, but I still personally didn't feel safe enough to eat inside. I believe overall the food is decent, but the person who was helping us take our order, just didn't really seem to really care. It was like well you order if you want, if not I'm going to do my own thing. Even when our order was ready, the person knew we were waiting outside, but no one came out to let us know our order was ready. This was my first experience at this place, but it makes me not want to visit again.FoodThe food was decent though. The salmon sashimi we ordered tasted fresh, the rolls were decent, I have just one thing to say about the sauce. Those things are HARD to open. It is the sweet sauce you put on your rolls, along with the spicy mayo. All of the small packets we had, it was impossible to open. Note that you must also ask for Wasabi. Also the Alaskan, and Dragon roll, just to note has a LOT of rice.Overall it was just a mediocre experience for me personally. I would have definitely gave it at least 4 stars if not for my ordering experience. If you do come, just remember that they do have a Happy Hour that is BOGO 50% off, which I had to search myself. Their Togo chopsticks are pretty good quality, far better then other restaurants I've been to, but that alone will not get me to come back. I hope others will have a better experience.

[5-STAR RECOMMENDATION] This restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian and meat dishes. My favorite is the Vegetable Korma. I also enjoyed eating the Tandoori Chicken (lunch buffet on Sundays). I would highly recommend checking this place out.
