Beautiful Day
50949 Washington St STE 1A, La Quinta, CA 92253, United States
Went in thinking this is a cute little place and walked out amazed! The flavors are indescribable. So surprising and wonderful. The help was super nice. This is a family owned restaurant and it shows. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options as well as treats for the carnivore in you. We had lunch on the way to The River and just HAD to stop on the way back again. I will be sure to go OUT OF MY WAY to stop in here whenever I cross the Coachella Valley. Recommend the Smash Burger, Vegetarian Ruben, Falafel Bowl, Green Goddess Salad, and Flowers and Chutney! Cant wait to come back and try more flavors!

Food here is always great.Service is limited here. They want you to order on the kiosk regardless if employees are busy or not.The temperature in the restaurant is freezing. Google says it needs to be a least 45 degrees to see your breath. I CAN SEE MY BREATH as my son and I sit here every week in the morning for our weekly breakfast routine. Every day it gets colder! Today I can see my breath as we talked. It's too cold to enjoy your meal here! Please look into your store.. it's neglected in a warm welcoming environment!

Writing a review of a new restaurant the week it opens is not really a good idea, writing about a new PIZZA restaurant on the first Friday its open is a really bad idea. So I went back on the second Friday, just to compare. It wasnt a great experience either time, but it wasnt horrible either time. All-in- all I give the food a 4 and the overall service a 2+ or a 3-, but Im going to be generous and give a 4 overall, it was a Friday after all. And I think the next visit will be the real test. There are a wide variety of crusts, and I have to say, the electronic menus look great, but I had a little trouble grasping what was what and what the cost is. With most concepts like this (instant pizza, pick your ingredients) its pick a crust, plus pick ingredients, so much an ingredient. Here its hard to understand what a crust costs and what an ingredient costs. I think the $9.99 offering is a very thin 10 inch crust with sauce and cheese. I think. The problem is Im not sure. Every other crust seems to be a $2 up charge from there. And every ingredient is an $1 or more. They could use a more transparent pricing guide. The pizza itself is not bad, small, but these types of restaurants are not the traditional big pie for the family place. I will say they do offer a 16 alternative, but it appeared to me that it was baked in a separate roll though oven not the standard pizza oven, and I didnt have one to talk about. On my two occasions I will say the pie was ok. The amount of sauce and cheese on each was radically different. Friday one I liked pretty well, Friday 2 there was too much sauce and cheese. Typical of a new location, these pies are assembled as you walk along, and there are probably 4 or 5 different people doing the job, so until they get some experience its bound to be different.First night I ordered there at the restaurant it was a long wait, like an hour. The place was in the weeds, so ok, I understand. But it really wasnt that busy. They got out of order, and were auctioning off the finished pizza because generally their identification system was kind of lost. That said, I liked that pie the best.Second night I ordered from the app for pick-up. the pizza was ready pretty much the time I specified. Unfortunately, that was the one I like less. Like I said, lets see what the next one is like. Also got a salad. They are pre-packaged and not customizable at all. I got the garden salad both times and enjoyed it. In fact it was the best thing in the order.Tried a soft drink from their machine, which is one of those coke multiblend anything you want machines. They always sound like a good idea, but as is the general rule with them, the mix was out of spec, and the result was a cherry coke that was neither. Sorry coke you need to make them easier to balance. The location itself is nice, lots of seating (which in the age of COVID is good). Unfortunately they are not doing a great job of social distancing or limiting tables. They actually have a community table that has all its seats there.Lots of TVs which all had sports going. They do sell beer and wine. Very large patio, even that had tvs on it.Worth a try, will update when I have a chance.

Luna Grill La Quinta

Luna Grill is a favorite of ours. The food is oh so fresh and literally wants you coming back for more. Luna Grill is a family owned chain. Right as we walked in the door we were greeted like family members they hadnt seen for a while. The food came in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. If you have a chance to order the shrimp, take it. It literally melts in your mouth! The have it only for a short time. The team they have chosen for the La Quinta location is exceptional. Very attentive. I think each team member came by our table to thank us for coming in, asking if they could do more. The owner and GM happened to be there at that time as well. Both coming by and struck up a conversation. Luna Grill La Quinta gets 5+ Stars. A local restaurant with incredible quality food!!!

YES PLEASE
78065 Main St STE 100, La Quinta, CA 92253, United States
Located in Old La Quinta, YES PLEASE was an amazing post Day 1 of Coachella breakfast.I ordered their French Toast and Açaí Bowl, and my girlfriend ordered their Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. In summary, the food was delicious. The eggs on the sandwich were cooked perfectly, and the croissant itself was fluffy and very appealing before it was mercilessly devoured. Moving to the french toast, the caramelized brown sugar on top of the toasted bread was genius providing crème brûlée-like experience, providing a very satisfying crunch despite being absolutely smothered with syrup. As for the açaí bowl, the açaí smoothie base was thicker and SIGNIFICANTLY more flavorful than I've had throughout the state, I was a big fan. This has 100% made the list of desert faves for my getaways here.

The Palms Cafe La Quinta
79255 CA-111 STE 6, La Quinta, CA 92253, United States
Gosh Im so confused with this. Reviews are great but wow was this place a miss on most fronts. Everything was fine, even when they placed my Efrain burger in front of me I was excited, I mean look at the photo!. Thats when things took a turn for the worst. Ill back up and mention that the server never asked how I wanted my burger prepared, which to me personally is typically a great sign. I always answer with Whatever the chef prefers anyway. Whelp, the burger was basically burned. Quality of the meat did taste fresh outside of being way way over cooked (yes, 2 ways is justifiable here). The brioche bun was stale, yes stale. Im not being a princess here but at the price point of 12.95 the bun being stale is a huge let down. Not to mention all typical diner ordered condiments which Im not really complaining about but okay, we have all tasted these pickles before and absolutely take away from any unique flavors like the cilantro chipotle mayo (which was a determining factor in my ordering of this burger). Nope, the entire burger tasted of stale bun, burnt meat, and the same (insert food vendor name here) pickles. Im sorry it seems like Im beating the place up but this was absolutely what happened here. Whats more, it took me flagging down someone in order to get an extra side of the cilantro chipotle mayo, the waiter actually sat down my check at that same time. At this point I was halfway through the burger and was never once asked how everything was or if I needed anything, nope, straight to heres your check now so get out. Obviouslt Im being dramatic with my words but that is exactly what happened. The fries, looked great but needed to be in the fryer a bit longer. Soggy for the most part. Anyway, what a sad sad place that suffers from mediocrity and a lack of caring. Based on the previous reviews I was under the impression this would be a place with a chef or chefs that cared about what they serve, I was strongly mistaken. If you want a very common place diner meal, by all means eat here. Otherwise there are a plethora of far superior options at even a couple of bucks less. Would like to try their breakfast though.

I had previously left a review earlier in the morning about my unhappiness about not being able to get the Kentucky Derby Pie that my family was so excited about getting. My brother-in-law had gone in about 2 weeks back wanting to buy or reserve the pie and was told there would be plenty and he couldnt reserve them. Today whenwent in they had taken reservations after all and were all sold out.I was very happy and appreciative to get a very quick response from the owner apologizing and offering to make things right by finding a way to get us a pie Monday. Since customer service and giving guest satisfaction has been my life for so very long I am probably even more happy than most people that they reached out so quickly to rectify this situation!! Obviously they have made a dedicated customer out of me! And I havent even tried their pie yet! Thank you Jimmy!

LGs Prime Steakhouse

We went for Thanksgiving reservation made. Ordered drinks and appetizers, having been there before I knew the menu well. I asked to have the waiter check for a specific red wine to have with my meal. Meal items did not come out in order or as Ordered. Example salad came WAY late drinks didnt come till AFTER meal despite being reminded FOUR times!! The waiter at another table noticed the totally terrible service and took it upon his self to help us one more than one occasion. There were three of us the meal was over 500 dollars which was no problem at all however I was utterly shocked by the waiter and his total lack of decoram. He didnt know the menu didnt make proper corrections and when asked about what happened made excuses such as i must not of heard you, um seriously you didnt hear the whole drink order or the two other detailed conversations about wine; and to top it off several tables around us got everything they ordered in order and even left before us. I had a young child with me but thank goodness she is so well behaved but even at her age of 8 she saw things werent right. We had dirty and done dishes all over the table NEVER being picked up unless asked to do so MULTIPLE times per plate. Oh and dont get me stayed on how many times we had to ask for water!! Such an utter disappointment. When he brought the check I didnt even look I just handed him my card I was over it to say the least. He looked at me like he was waiting for something when I didnt open the check. When I signed I noticed the drinks were comped which honestly I didnt think was enough. I have never had such poor service there totally ruined the experience for us to a point I may never dine in here again, what a shame. Worse for the waiter cause Im very very well know for over tipping especially on holidays. I went in with the intent of tipping the bill amount cause I can with the holidays people struggle and instead left bummed. The only reason we didnt cook this year was because I had just undergone two serious surgeries two weeks before and I really needed something to lift my spirits, thank God for the good company.

Worst service ever, almost to the point were we felt discriminated against, I have an accent and my daughter in-law is Asian. They seated us in a corner and we asked if we can move because of the sun and the baby they said no all the tables are booked, 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon I highly doubted that. Then we waited probably 20/30min for service until I asked someone if we can order drinks, drinks took forever. Never had a waiter come over to ask if we want to order food or more drinks we had to waive someone down ever time . Food was mediocre and when I waived one of the hostesses over to ask for a plate for my granddaughter she replied to me with WHAT!!! It was not in her job. We really felt it was not just a case of bad service or badly trained staff but a little discrimination because we were not local or American. They were more concerned about the stroller blocking a random door incase of a emergency on the patio.Only person that was doing his work was the gentleman clearing the tables and providing water, we had to flag him down and ask him to send over a waitress over 2/3 times.Funny thing is they have a little note on the table how they proud themselves on customer service, you will need to do better and start training your staff.
