I will start with customer view. Yuck. The front of house is a reflection of the back of house. Since I waited forever for an order, I didnt consume, I had time to enjoy the view. Attached are pics of the filthy lobby. Bend over and pick up the trash or at least sweep it up. A hot soapy mop will also help.What was most entertaining to me was the ss 1/8 lid on the floor that approx was walked by, over and sidestepped about 33 times as I sat there. I started counting after I took the lobby pics so I could be off by 3 to 5 employees. The team of at least 9 crewmembers were having a good time. When I was given my order I let the young lady know that there was a trip n fall hazard and approx how many people I watched and video stepping over it. I was just snapping pics at first but decided to change to video. Well good luck with safety and getting a cleaning crew in there.

Great atmosphere, amazingly friendly and welcoming staff, fair coffee.There just seems to be a lack of knowledge surrounding the traditional espresso coffee wares(which I realize is slightly a matter of opinion). I was given a dry cappuccino when asking for a macchiato and had to clarify a few times what was even meant by macchiato.The black coffee was not as light a roast as I would like but that is purely a matter of taste so no fault there. It wasnt bitter or under extracted so I cant fault the personal decision to select this coffee, nor would I want to. The massive diversity in roasting is what makes discovering new shops so exciting.The blueberry muffin was very good. Not overly sweet, medium density, subtle blueberry flavor which actually paired quite well with the black coffee.Was able to try the nitro coffee on my way out which was very good for those who like the texture this process brings but want a more nuanced coffee experience.Overall Ill be returning to this shop mainly because a.they are in a dry area for decent shops and b. The staff is worth the return trip making any other shortcomings easy to overlook.

Ive eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants, but the food Ive had from Goi is the best Thai food Ive ever eaten. It may be the best food Ive ever eaten, period. The flavors are vibrant and scrumptious. Ive had several dishes there now, and every dish has been spectacular. The beef basil grapow is a particular favorite.The service is good, and the staff are friendly. The chef (who I believe is also the owner) is a cheerful woman who frequently comes out to check on and converse with her customers.Im not a vegetarian, but I have family who are. There are plenty of wonderful vegetarian options that even non-vegetarians will love, and many of the non-vegetarian dishes can be made vegetarian on request.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I anticipated it being just another average strip mall restaurant, however upon entering the restaurant its well appointed and decorated and smells great. Its a bit more formal than we expected, but thats a good thing. The menu has a wide variety of items, including many vegetarian items. The food was spectacular, the service was good and we left very full and very happy. Highly recommend.
In-N-Out Burger

Let me start by saying I absolutely love In-N-Out burger. However, for the first time in my 30+ years of going, I had a negative experience. I went to the In-N-Out in Murieta on my way home from a trip in San Diego. Im a picky eater, and I like my burgers plain. I ordered my burger this way as I have on over 1000 trips to In-N-Out. The first issue is that our order seemed to take a very long time to come out. Several orders after it came out before ours. Then, when I went to eat my burger, I noticed it had what appeared to be spread on it. When I pulled the bun off, it was obvious theyd accidentally put spread on it. That was not the issue they are human. The issue is that instead of making a new burger, they just wiped it off. So I approached the counter and asked for a new burger, and the employee at the counter said they would get a new one that were cery helpful. However, when she told the young lady on prep, I wanted a new burger. She looked directly at me and rolled her eyes. I get it. Im annoying asking for what I paid for. Then, instead of making my burger, which is very easy since it requires no prep. She left me standing there for 5 minutes waiting for my replacement burger. This incident will not change my opinion of In-N-Out. Id just ask the manager to speak with his employee about customer service. While I wasnt, the employee should remember some people order burgers without certain ingredients due to allergies.

We randomly found 8 Bit Brewing off Yelp since we were in the area just visiting for the day and needed some food. Big beer lovers so we had to stop in and check out what was offered here - we were extremely happy we did!- PARKING -Large parking lot, no need to worry about finding a spot here!- SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT -You order your beers and food at the bar. Theyll serve you your beer immediately, and will give you a buzzer when your food is ready for pick-up on the counter. If youre sitting inside, its self seating. If youre sitting outside, theyll guide you out. Theres a main dining/brewery side, and the other is the arcade portion. High tables and bar seating is still available on the arcade side, just limited. A good variety of old school games here, as well as some newer installations. I love their art wall that people have curated to their specific beers - super cool decor!- FOOD/DRINK -They ran out of Schnitzel, which I wasnt extremely interested in initially, but when I found out they didnt have anymore, I felt like I had to try it the next time I came back!Tater Tot Poutine ($16.50): I absolutely LOVE tater tots - sometimes more than fries! You dont see Poutine offerings much at places, so we hopped on this opportunity. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the crispy tots, to the decadent Duck Confit Gravy, and the cheesy Mozzarella. Really great portion to share as well!Animal Style Brat (~$15?): Exactly what it sounds like. Think In-N-Out Animal Style Fries but on a Bratwurst. Really great snap from the brat, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. Fries on the side were nice and crispy - but not as crispy as the Tots!Mario Tart: BooBerry Boneyard ($8.00): If you like Sours, youll love this!!! Deliciously tart and sweet, super easy to drink - maybe TOO easy; I drank this way faster than I should have!Cyberfunk ($8.00): I dont usually like DIPAs but make it a Sour DIPA with these flavors and Im all for it. A great flavor from start to finish.8bit Michelada (Taster): Not my favorite rendition of a Michelada. I felt like there was more Tomato taste than any beer or their serrano mix taste. I did appreciate they were willing to serve a taster portion of this though!- OVERALL -A great spot to hang out, grab a beer, eat some grub, and play some games. Lots of large tables outside for your bigger parties, or smaller tables for a nice date.

Staying in a cottage, needed some items and this place was perfect. Not only did we get our supplies, but we got some hot fresh made soups (lentil and lobster bisque). Both soups exceeded anything Ive ever bought at a supermarket. Consistency was great, flavor was great and they come in multiple sizes. Their sandwiches were reasonably priced and also quite good.Barons reminded me of Whole Foods in many ways. Tons of healthy food choices and a lot of smaller companies that have great products that are environmentally friendly.Place was super clean and getting in and out without a hassle. Drove back up to La Cresta and we are ready for breakfast tomorrow. I recall seeing one in San Diego in North Park, so this may be included into the grocery needs rotation.

Not very pleased with our first experience at The Chefs Grille. The service was not very good, it took about an hour to get our food after we ordered, then on top of it, they got two of our orders wrong. After eating, we ordered dessert, but we were barely finished eating our dessert when we were asked to leave because they had another party coming in, yet there were other tables available. Considering we were there for two hours, and it took an hour to get our food, not to mention dessert afterwards, I felt like we were rushed out right after our dessert. So I would say that the customer service was not very good. Find another place to eat where you are treated better as a customer.Chef Marty,
I do appreciate your response, thank you. Being in business and dealing with customer service myself, I understand that when a customer is not satisfied, we listen, diffuse, and try to make things right, (even if we feel that the customer is wrong), as this will often create some of our most loyal customers because they feel like they are being heard and their concerns are being addressed. We don't try and place the blame on them.
The fact that you knew what my review was in reference to, tells me that you were aware of the problem, as my name was neither on the reservation or the credit card used to pay for our bill. We appear to have a difference of opinion as to how long it took to receive our order, and as for the mistakes on our order, you addressed one, but I had actually ordered short ribs and got pot roast instead, but for the sake of time I chose not to return it. We were NOT made aware of or “communicated” in any way about a time request on our table. As a matter of fact we were not even told about that until they started picking up our dishes as we were finishing our desserts. We do plan on returning to your establishment in the future, as we know that first impressions may not always create an accurate representation of an establishment. We hope to have a better experience. Thank You
