Taco Bell
9180 Whittier Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
Its a shame how the quality of the food has really diminished here. This used to be a good place, but already 3 times Ive come, the food just isnt made right, wrong food is made and some doesnt even look appealing to eat. The cooks making the food seem like they dont like their job or dont wanna do the work, all the sauces are on one side only, the salad on the other end and very little meat. If I get a chalupa or a gordita, Id like everything spread across, not in piles on each end of it and more than 6 pieces of chicken or steak would be nice too. I remember it was all a steady measurement for each thing and was supposed to be spread across, not just clumped in. I may just go to a further one instead, no wonder this one is about 80% of the time empty.

This restaurant is the reason I wont become a vegetarian! The restaurant is dimly lit, with white tablecloths and napkins. The ambiance has remained the same since my first visit here, in 1983. This restaurant does not disappoint. My favorite is the filet mignon and let me suggest combining the sour cream dressing with a bit of French dressing! Yum! I prefer sitting in the main dinning room and if you arrive around 5:00 pm, seating is not a problem. You can also make reservations. Two thumbs up for quality of food and service!

Then came The Original Pizza Presto, which has blown any other pizza joint out of the water. The pizza is great, the crust is just right, and the toppings are fresh. Thats the one thing that massively stands out. Yes, the freshness of the toppings matters. If youre going to invest your hard-earned bucks, I would rather spend them here. The staff is fantastic, and they continue to deliver top-notch service. Missing out on Presto is a huge disservice. This is the spot for pizza. Yes, they have more on the menu. In-N-Out Burger
9070 Whittier Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
So first of all full disclosure, my boyfriend and I are east coasters so we came in with high hopes from all the hype people talk about here. Honestly I'm a little disappointed with the taste level of what we ate (double cheeseburger/cheeseburger/fries). If reviewing fully on taste I would say it's pretty average (3/5) because the patty is really thin (I'm a thick patty person) and the fries were very meh, kind of bland and not that crispy. However the vegetables in the burger (lettuce, tomato, onion) definitely tasted fresh which was nice, and the home sauce tasted pretty good. Based on taste of just the classics (burger and fries), I would say it's average at best compared to other chains and burgers I've had. But the customer service was very nice and friendly so I think that raises the restaurant's quality a bit, and apparently the items on the secret menu are supposed to be better (although personally I don't think you should have to order off of a secret menu to taste something good). Overall I probably wouldn't go here again if I had the choice but I suppose if the experience is important to you then by all means go for it.
Seor Gs & B
4923 Rosemead Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
Of course I always save my five stars because I dont believe Ive been to a five star yet. But very impressed the young ma who helped us was very humble very cordial. And to start off Senor Gs had a sign on the door that read No Mask No Service so big plus then he waited for a minutes and told the waitress we were dining in and said she would be with us in a minute, then a young asked the same question and then let us know he was taking our temperature ? big plus. He then asked us to go around to the patio ?big plus. Two other parties having lunch. Very Clean and tables well spaced out. The plates were never handles twice and either were the cups. The needed napkins were place and orders taken correctly. Came around the a few times to see how we were doing but not to many to annoy us or increase the coronavirus anxiety. Picked Up the need plates brought rhe check. Very politely face it down and picked up as my kid was finishing her meal. It was a very Safe, comfortable and filling experience.

The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. Here the shared parking is available at the back.Vegetarian options are also offered on their menu, and they provide convenient to-go service. The beef Koobideh kabob was especially outstanding, highly recommended!
Curry Hut - Express Indian Food
8838 Whittier Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
One of the best Indian fast food in San Gabriel Valleys. The food is always fresh, delicious and the portions are huge. My favorite dishes includes the Chicken Tikka Masala, goat curry, veggie korma, and spinach with cheese. My go to dish is the chicken tikka masala. If they can win me here, i am forever sold. Curry Hut wins! The entrees mentioned have been cooked and ready to serve. The naan is amazing and is always made fresh to order.I would consider this fast food, the fact that the food is already prepared. But, there is a menu with other delicious offerings that is cooked to order. My favorite is Tandoori chicken, there is a wait, but well worth it. The seating capacity very limited, but when there is a table a available. I would sit down, watch Bollywood hip hop videos and enjoy my food. The customer service here is excellent, there is an incident where my chicken tikka masala was not “hot” enough for me. I asked the server to warm it up a little more. She gladly heated up the food and added more to my plentiful order. Then, when I was almost done eating, she also gave me a small order to go. I am happy that they really care for their customers.

La Monarca Bakery & Cafe
6001 Rosemead Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
The various cakes and pastries are delicious. My problem with this location is the customer service. A few months ago we placed an online order for a plate of 2 specific styles of cookies and an order of pan de Muertos. When we arrived they did not have our order ready. They said they cant do our order of cookies because they only do it one way. If thats the case then why do we have that option online? And the order of pan de Muertos had to be done last minute because they sold our order to a walk in customer ahead of us. We let that incident slide and recently ordered a guava cake and a large rosca for a birthday party 3 days in advance. When we arrived to pick up our order, there were no cakes in the bakery. They told us they didnt have the cake, which was obvious, and didnt offer up any explanation. They didnt even have the courtesy to call earlier in the day to let us know they didnt have our cake. They said all they could do was to give us a refund. Well of course youre going to give us a refund. The cashier, Guiliana, who was helping us was very rude. She couldnt look us in the eye. She tried giving us a medium size rosca when we ordered a large and she said with attitude, your receipt says meduim which was a lie, we quickly pulled out the reciept and showed another employee where it says large. The other employee, I dont know his name, and told Guiliana to hand us the large. My whole thing is, if you messed up someones order try and make it right somehow. Lets say we had ordered a medium rosca, then to make up for the error why wouldnt you give us a large instead. Why are you antagonistic with us the customers?
