Pieology Pizzeria
9118 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91325, United States
I wouldn't even rate this place a 0 it should be negative . I have been here multiple times and hope it would get better but no the staff isn't working half of the time I have to repeat what I want multiple times because they have AirPods in . The pizza press is broken ?!? And they tell me I can't get the crust I want and the only one they have is more in price . I get it anyway because I drove here they throw no toppings on and I see my pizza done and I'm standing there thinking maybe they are grabbing the ranch I ordered but no the workers are all on break with 5 pizzas on the counter fully finished . They come back and use the same cutter on all 5 pizzas . Then after another 15 min of standing there looking at my fishes pizza they walk over and give me the wrong one then argue and tell me it's the one I ordered . Finally I get the right one and tell them I ordered a ranch and guess what no ranch and I just wasted a dollar it's not about the dollar but why can't they just tell me they have no ranch when I order ranch . This place is always I hope anyone higher up sees this review and does something about this awful establishment I wouldn't recommend anyone goes here can't believe it has 4.2 stars I have not had 1 good experience here and I have been here 4-5 times . One word AWFUL!!

Just watched an employee deal with a very rude, problematic customer with patience, politeness, and professionalism.Said customer repeatedly changed his order, demanded to know why changing the order changed the price, stayed up in the cashiers face, and even returned to the counter twice to change his order several minutes after placing it.The cashier, Ceasar, remained calm, polite, and even ensured all of the rude customers very ridiculous requests were met. Guy had the patience of a saint. In any case, the food is always good when I come here, orders are always correct, and the cashiers are always polite and engage with me.

Just called in about 5 minutes ago. This isn't my first rodeo with this restaurant. I've been a customer here since the previous owner that recently sold the business around last year. Since the restaurant has had a new owner the food has been very dry. The beef skewers are about 3 inches of length. Today was my last straw. I called in to make the usual order and the guy who answered was being very rude and asked me who I was and demanded to know who I was and what I wanted just because my phone number is unfamiliar to him and I was in complete shock because that is not the appropriate to ask. Extremely disappointed. I will never step foot there again nor will continue to recommend the place when I host.

Absolutely delicious! The pizza wasnt greasy, the dough was hearty, and the toppings were fresh. My partner and I had the vegetarian and it was loaded with a nice assortment of veggies that were cooked thoroughly but not mushy. We also had some of their tasty yogurt cucumber salad, which would go perfectly on a hot summer day. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant seems to be a well-loved staple of the community, I saw several regulars come in to talk to the main chef. New favorite pizza place!

We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. We are so glad we did!T got the ribeye sandwich. He really loved it!! Said it was pretty filling and the meat was really good. Came with fries as well that were nice and soft on the inside. Not the thin cut type of fries.I had the Make it yours salad. They have soo many toppings to choose from and are very generous with them. The fried eggplant was a highlight. The shishito peppers were too spicy for me. So many seeds!!! A highlight of the meal was the bread. I would just buy the bread even. It was perfectly toasted! I dont think Ive ever had bread more perfect than that. Lol. And I feel and sound like a bread fanatic but Im really not. The dressing they have is also amazing. Im not sure what it was though.T also got this Israeli drink that was amazing and so unique! Sounds like itd be weird but it wasnt.Service is excellent as well. They have high chairs in case you have little ones. The bathroom was nice and clean. Outdoor as well as indoor seating available. A little pricier than Id normally spend at $12 a salad without an added protein or fat like tuna / avocado but well worth it
Halal Biriyani Kabob House
9420 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
This place is fantastic! We never tried Afghan food before and wanted to try something commonly found in Afghanistan - when we went inside we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who walked us through the menu and gave their best recommendations. They recommended the bihari kabob for our intro to Afghan cuisine, and we wanted to try their chicken tikka masala because whenever it's on a menu anywhere, we always like to try. We got some garlic naan and cheese naan as well, and rasmalai for dessert. The bihari kabob was HEAVEN ON A PLATE. ORDER THIS! The meat was incredibly flavorful and better than any regular kebab you get elsewhere. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic as well! We have probably had close to 100 different chicken tikka masala's and they're all very different…some too spicy, some too tomatoey, but Biryani Kabob House's was VERY good. Very close to the best we've ever had - only one or two places we've been had better, and those were nicer sit-down Indian restaurants, which isn't really fair because it seems like this place focuses more on Pakistani cuisine. So overall, that was an excellent dish as well, and we would definitely order it again. The garlic naan and cheese naan were amazing! The cheese naan was on another level - you absolutely should get an order of it. It's addicting! And even the rasmalai for dessert was super good - it was actually homemade unlike so many other Indian and Pakistani restaurants that take the easy way out and buy desserts premade wholesale. I cannot stress how much you should be running to check this place out. You will be very happy with your meal!!

After stumbling upon Ronys Cafe on Google and seeing its stellar reviews, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try – and boy, were we glad we did! From the moment we walked in, Rony himself warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home.Ronys personal attention and helpfulness in explaining the menu made our experience even more enjoyable. We were impressed to learn that the food features organic ingredients with plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. The quality of the ingredients truly shone through in every bite, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. And lets not forget about the coffee – it was nothing short of phenomenal!Overall, our experience at Ronys Cafe was top-notch, and well definitely be returning for more. Vinh Loi Tofu
18625 Sherman Way #101, Reseda, CA 91335, United States
It has been so long since Ive had Pho.... After becoming vegetarian, Pho just wasnt on the menu. But, during a recent trip to LA, I almost stumbled across this totally unassuming diamond of a restaurant. If youre a fan of Pho, but meat aint your thing, you need to check this place out. Decor-wise, this place is every other strip-mall Asian place in LA. Theres nothing to really tell you how great their food is except a few reviews on the walls - which are easily discounted until you try the food. Thats where Vinh Loi shines! The Pho brought me back 30 years with all of the flavors and textures of a truly good bowl. It was a total joy and Im looking forwarding to returning.
