It is good to have a local Vietnamese restaurant in El Sobrante. Ive had several dishes here and they are all good. My recommendations are the Pho and the Bun (vermicelli) dishes. I do come after heavy traffic hours so it helps as the owner is also the chef, I believe.My understanding is that pre-pandemic, they were bustling and now post-pandemic, they are needing your support and patronage.

One of the best spots for Pho in the Richmond area. They serve plenty of authentic Vietnamese dishes: pho noodle soup, vermicelli, and rice.My favorite is definitely the Bun Bo Hue. The soup is very authentic, with all the ingredients such as chili oil, lemongrass, banana flower, fish and shrimp sauce, and spices. With all the other pho houses cutting corners, Cam Hong is still sticking with originals: pork blood curd, bone-in pork hock, beef shank,must-try and Hue pork meatloaf. It is as good as those at the San Jose V-town. Make sure to ask for house-made chili oil sauce on the side. The service is fast and the staff is friendly and polite. The restaurant has its own parking lot. Parking is plentiful. For a good eat in the neighborhood, Cam Hong is definitely a great choice.

The food here is great! I had the best pork bun mi Ive ever had in my life here; the bread was fresh and soft, the sauce on the sandwich (kewpie mixed with something tangy and delicious) married perfectly with the other ingredients, and there was a generous portion of pork. The egg rolls were really good, and my kids loved their rice plate. Highly recommend!!

If youre looking for a caterer for the Brazilian Room, Cafe Soleil is the best. I would recommend them to any friend, family, acquaintance, or business.We contracted with them a year in advance for an April 2022 wedding, and they have been NOTHING short of spectacular. They are truly special because we decided to self-plan our wedding, and I did not come across another caterer so willing help me make it happen!It wasnt just advice and years of wisdom they provided. Jen and Cecy offered extra supplies like beautiful chargers, vases, table number holders, candle holders - all at no charge because they have the items on-hand and do wedding so often! The other caterers I talked to were so transactional and would charge for any thing or service you needed from them. That wasnt the case with Jen/Cecy. Theres such a human touch with them.The food is amazing, thats a given. But my favorite part was when Jen let us come in and create our tablescape together. She let us play with different utensils, charger colors, vases, and put them on the table! Through that process, we transformed our vague vision of a reception into a reality.Cecy, the event manager, responds basically immediately. You can call, email her, and shell remind you when youve forgotten something. Jen, the owner, has been in the food biz for many years making her exceptionally adept at doing weddings, and Cecy has been a wedding planner for many years prior to Soleil.I havent even had my wedding yet, but I know itll be nothing short of perfect from seeing how Cafe Soleil works its magic. Happy to be a reference for them any time.

This food place is not Chineese nor Vietnamese its called Asian fusion food, its a combo of both Worlds by Hispanic Cooks who have Worked in those Type of Restaurants and learned there Recipes and Styles and gave it there own twist or version, food has flavor and taste, so go out and try something thats different.
