Ha Bnh Restaurant
14472 Brookhurst St, Garden Grove, CA 92843, United States
This restaurant is one of the better Vietnamese restaurant in terms ofquality of food, decor, and central air. The quality of food is top notch.Among my favorite dishes are:* Egg rolls (made crispy with crab meat, they sell single piece for $1.25)* Spring rolls (very tasty but, at $4 for 2 is a little pricey)* Pho (excellent always but they dont have filet mignon beef* Bun Cha Hanoi (big portion, nice carmalized meat, plentiful lettuce.)* Chinese soupbowls (They make authentic cantonese style soups)The room decor is always clean and with nice air conditioning, which is lacking in many other cheap pho eateries. The service is sometimes shaky. Most servers are good except for one mid 30s guy with a crew cut hair who always charged me up little things (just him), little thing like 25 cent for more lemons, or 40 cent for white onions, or $1 for pho broth. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars due to that annoying server.
Oc & Lau Restaurant

This place is in high demand, so plan ahead. We arrived for Saturday evening dinner and the line was just too long to wait, so we went to another great local eatery. We arrived again at opening on Sunday morning and there was already a line outside, but we got in quickly. When I see a lot of Vietnamese at a Vietnamese restaurant, you know youve found a great place. I had the beef with egg noodles (see photo) and the other pic was from my groups hotpot ingredients. The food is as good as it looks!
Ph Nam nh Restaurant

Classic Vietnamese food at simple family style restaurant. Far enough away from the overly touristy section of Harbor Blvd, prices are a bit cheaper than a competing it Vietnamese restaurant nearer to the other hotels. Great service and great food.

A few months ago, I asked one of my vietnamese coworker where the best pho is and he mentioned Pho86 in Garden Grove. Living in Southbay, it was a long drive for me and couldnt find the time to drop by.Fast forward three days ago, in our small community hospital ER when we received an amazing amount of food from your restaurant and I finally got to try your pho. We all agreed, that it is probably one of the best pho that we have ever had.Thank you for supporting us. It has brightened up our night in these hard times and it meant so much more to us than what you guys can imagine. I hope to visit the restaurant finally once the fight is over.Sincerely,An ED Nurse.

Deliciously gooooood!Tam, female service staff, was friendly and attentive to our table’s need with drinks and refills of vegetables. We were having a BAD experience at this Pho restaurant and poor service quality. First of all, we arrived first, sat at the table first and ordered before the next table for a long time. But then the server brought food to the next table before us. I could see that he had brought our food to them by mistake, by the expressions on the faces of the customers next to us. They were confused but still ate what was supposed to be ours. Then he brought out our food, of course, a lot of things were missing in it. My friends wanted special pho with large noodles and a bowl of rich/fatty broth, but they forgot and we expected that by observing what they were doing, so not really surprised. They are very UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL towards customers, as we did not receive a single apology after all, at least after he brought the wrong food there should have been an apology for the omission to their customers, but there was also no apology and his attitude was very superficial. Besides that, I did notice that the guests at the table next to us were brought water when they all finished eating. Anyways so many aspects to speak up about their lack of professionalism.
New Trieu Chau Restaurant

One of my favorite asian chinese vietnamese restaurants. My favorite dish pork bone soup. Its a tender pork bone simmered couple hours adn savory soup. Crispy noodle with gravy is excellent. Fried rice also good. Weekend always busy, but it turns really fast so dont worry for waiting line. The server is friendly, but just extra caution with their english. Highly recommend

The food is really good here and the prices are very reasonable. All sorts of people come here, not just Vietnamese, even an on-duty officer for his dinner break. Its one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to.
Pho Tuan Canh restaurant

I was craving a Beef Phở and made the mistake of going to a place known on the internet for Chicken phở. I ordered my usual special Beef ($12) phở with the rare (raw) beef on the side, but I was refused! When they brought out my bowl I found that the rare beef already in the bowl was of a different cut than all the other rare beef in all other restaurants! It was more chewy too. Interestinly, on the menu was extra portion of rare beef for a whopping $6. I usually like to marinate the raw beef on the side plate with hoisin sauce, sriracha, and cook it with a generous squeeze of lime, before dipping it in the hot broth. But I was not willing to pay $6 for a separate order of rare beef that was of an unsual cut from the cow. And the cut of raw beef here was probably not appropriate to be placed on the side to be marinated and dipping by the eater any way.The broth itself was too salty--too much MSG, and too oily. You can see the little circles of fat on the surface.Oh, and water was not free. $0.75 for a 10oz bottle and a cup of ice.If I ever crave Chicken phở, I might satisfy my curiosity here next time, but never again Beef phở.
