Simple, homey Vietnamese restaurant. The food is delicious, very affordable. The broth is clean tasting without the extra fat. Generous portions and vegetables are all fresh and highy quality meats. Service is warm and welcoming. Plenty of parking.

Got the special beef pho and pork garlic noodles. The broth has depth and flavor, definitely the best one Ive had at any Vietnamese restaurant. Garlic noodles had the right amount of butter to coat the noodles to keep it from being dry and the garlic wasnt overpowering. Both the beef and pork were tender and cooked to perfection. It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back!

Wow, after going to another location in Las Vegas that blew me away, I had to come to another location in the original state to see how it was. Easy to say that I was blown away.A huge glass window outside the restaurant gives a great view of chefs preparing dumplings and xiao long baos. The menu is a sheet where you can mark off what dishes you want. These dishes are brought out as they are ready, which leads to a nice experience of having a steady stream of new foods at different times. The menu is pictured below. I'll go through the dishes I had.String beans with garlic. This is the one veggie dish I highly recommend getting. If you love garlic, this dish will delight your tastebuds with crunch, sautéed beans in a ton of garlic.Vegan baos. These buns are about the size of your palm. They're stuffed with spinach and mushrooms, but the real star is the bun itself, a delicious, soft, pillowy bread.Chicken jidori bao. These are similar to the vegan buns but a chicken “meatball” is inside! Very flavorful.Wontons in spicy sauce. This is it. This is the best dish I had. The wontons are soft, packed with meat and flavor, and in an amazing sweet and spicy sauce. This is the one to get!!Shrimp and pork Xiao long bao. These soup dumplings have a lot of soup and so much flavor as well. I highly recommend getting these! They go great with the sauces on the side.Dumplings. These are pretty good and the best bang for buck (most food for price).Noodles in sesame sauce. The noodles are fresh, bouncy, and in a simple, sesame sauce, topped with green onions and crushed peanuts. It's very nice to break up all the dumpling and baos with a simple noodle dish.Overall, I loved the restaurant and would come here again in a heartbeat! Amazing experience with great service and even better food.

Ordered Summer Rolls and PhoSummer Rolls came first, which is great cuz I hate when places bring it after they give me the main meal. I was expecting a peanut sauce, but instead got a different, very light sauce. Dont know what it was. It didnt taste bad, but I was looking for the thicker sauce, so I used the hoisen sauce they provided. The pho, I liked that I could choose 3 meats. However when it came, the meats were essentially stacked right in top of each other in their respective categories. So a slab of brisket and a slab or rare flank. The flank wasnt as bad to peel apart. The brisket though, I picked up in bundles. The broth was rather bland. They gave a hard to squeeze lemon, and 3 pieces of jalapeño which one of them seemed to only be the outer skin. After putting those and the bean sprouts into the broth, I only tasted bean sprouts.Overall, area is new and they are giving it a rich atmosphere (in a not so rich city). Its nice atmosphere though, but food, I probably wont come often.P.s. they have ube cheese cake the size of a macaron and overpriced which I thought was funny.

I went to this place based on the Google reviews. The food was fine, but I am disappointed with the portion and the way that they upsold the dish that I ordered.I ordered pad krapaw with sliced chicken breast. The waitress told me that it came with ground chicken breast and that I needed to pay an additional $2.00 if I wanted sliced chicken breast. If, according to her, the ground chicken was chicken breast, why should I pay more just because I wanted sliced chicken breast instead of ground chicken breast. This is the reason why I dont want ground chicken, because it is ground and it could be anything, but the real thing. Then, when I finally got my order, the chicken was cut in paper thin slices. Very thin slices spreaded on the plate just to make it look like it was a fair portion, but it was not.The thinner the slices, the less flavor, because thin pieces of chicken cant absorb the seasoning and spices as well as a thicker slice of chicken. Not only that, a thin slice of chicken can easily be overcooked, and it will just ruin the meal.I dont think that I might go back because I dont want to pay an additional $2.00 for such a small portion of chicken; plus the way they cut the chicken just to make more profit is not something that I would like to try again.

Title: Declining Quality and Unpleasant Customer ServiceRating: ★★☆☆☆I have been a regular customer at 85 Degree Bakery for our breakfasts, but I am disappointed to say that the overall experience has been declining lately. This review is not meant to discourage others from visiting, but rather to express my concerns and hope for improvements.Lets start with the food. While the bakery used to offer delicious and freshly baked goods, the quality seems to have deteriorated over time. The once-fluffy pastries and breads now lack the same freshness and flavor that made them so appealing. Its disheartening to see a place that was once known for its exceptional baked goods fall short in this area.Furthermore, the coffee, which used to be a highlight of our visits, has also lost its charm. The flavor has become inconsistent, and the overall quality has noticeably declined. Its disappointing to receive a mediocre cup of coffee when we used to rely on 85 Degree Bakery for a satisfying start to our day.Another aspect that needs serious attention is the customer service. The staffs behavior has been quite disappointing, as their attitude towards customers can sometimes be outright rude. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere is essential for any establishment, and it is unfortunate that this crucial aspect seems to be neglected. Improved training and an emphasis on customer satisfaction would greatly benefit the overall experience.I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns into consideration and works towards restoring the quality of their food and coffee. Additionally, addressing the issue of customer service should be a priority. 85 Degree Bakery has the potential to be a top-notch establishment once again, but it requires a concerted effort to regain its former glory. While I may not be returning as frequently until I see improvements, I encourage others to give it a try and make their own judgment. There are still some redeeming qualities, such as the cozy ambiance and a wide variety of baked goods to choose from. However, until significant changes are made, I cannot confidently recommend 85 Degree Bakery as a top choice for breakfast or coffee.
