I love this place. Finally, an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that is clean. They take care of the tiniest details to perfection. Even their water is filtered and accentuated with lime and oranges. The service is incredible. They are attentive. I don’t see them standing around, spacing out. They scan the room to see who needs help. I’ve been to other Vietnamese restaurants and I’ve been ignored. I had to call the restaurant while in there to get them to service me. As a Vietnamese person, I adore and appreciate this restaurant!!!!! It’s a hidden gem.

So I have to start with the fact that Ive recently been to their Newport Beach location and really enjoyed the food and location. So I thought Id visit their location in Woodland Hills. To start, I thought they had several wild caught options. The worker told me that they only have 2 wild caught options, the ahi ahi tuna, and cant recall the other. I was too disappointed to even listen when I heard her say 2. Because I asked her why the menus dont indicate which dishes are wild caught. Then, as we are ordered, the cooks shout no more white rice. Thats what I love to have with my fish! How does a restaurant run out of RICE??? Thats beyond embarrassing. Its like McDonalds running out of fries. Then, we get a text that our food is ready only to find our its not and that their system went down and texted everyone that their food was ready when it wasnt. They asked us and everyone else for a receipt, but we didnt select the option to have the kiosk print a receipt. After checking a couple more times, 2 of our 3 dishes were ready, and they said they would bring us the 3rd dish. The sea bass I ordered was overcooked and stiff. The dining room was a mess. Many tables had trash or dishes on them, etc. This location just seems so poorly run. After having just been to their NB location, I would have thought that these 2 locations cant be the same company!! Just a mess of a location.

This place is awful. The baristas are young and inexperienced in customer service and conflict resolution. I saw the way they let a white women cut in front of 6 people of color. The young people of color had been patiently waiting their turn. When the woman arrived, she attempted to cut them all in line. One of the young women in the group brought this to the cashiers attention. She let him (I believe his name was Alonso) know that the group had been waiting their first. The white woman acknowledged that they had been there first. The cashier took the order from one of the young people in the group, then let the white women cut. He said he did this because the group of 6 had formed in a place the line typically doesnt form. He said it is common knowledge that the line would form a different way. It was his job to manage the situation. Instead of making it better, he belittled the group of young folks. The line is not defined by a sign or by stickers on the floor. I am so disappointed in this location. I am curious to know why this young man made the decision that he did. It looks and smells like racial discrimination. Either that or he simple does not have the training to be alone at this location. I will not be coming to this location again! I do not support unjust treatment of anyone!!!

* UPDATE * 11-5-2018After I wrote the review, the owner / manager contact me. He told me I misread the menu. Its KELP noodles and not KALE noodles. My mistake. Sorry. So I change the stars from 3 stars to 4 stars.---------------------------I do food delivery at UCLA and Santa Monica areas. I always get food orders from Sweetfin all the time.So I thought give them a try. I been to other similar places though. So I be comparing this place to other places.I order this from Postmates.Pro - Good size if you get a large. It taste really good. :)Con - not as big selection of toppings as other places and some cost extra for other kinds of toppings. The only major complaint I have, I asked for kale noodles. I thought I give it a try. But instead they gave me a different kind of noodles. I was disappointed. :(Overall - if you not too picky and dont mind the selection, this is a good place to grab something to eat.
