Bonchon North Stockton
7840 West Ln Suite E-3, Stockton, CA 95210, United States
Update: Tuesday, August 15, 2023 PMIt's sad…this place has a lot of potential, but I've had issues the majority of the time. I've been served soggy chicken that was not fresh that I had to send back. Tonight I specified that my order be cooked fresh with extra sauce. The top few pieces of chicken did seem to be fresh but underneath, the drums were dried out and as hard as rocks! When I am paying good money, yes this stuff is expensive, I expect my dinner to be hot and fresh and cooked to order. Is that too much to ask?I don't know whether the employees don't care or whether the owner doesn't care. I don't know where the problem is from but I wish them luck. When I left around 7:30 PM there was not a soul in the restaurant! I wonder how long they're going to be a business?Kudos to the wait staff. They took good care of me!————————Update: 1/3/22No Bueno! No consistency here. Maybe it depends on who's cooking.Last time was good. The chicken was hot, fresh and crunchy. This time, even though I asked for my chicken to be hot and fresh, it was barely warm and certainly not crunchy! There was a language barrier between me and my server. I asked for my chicken to be hot and fresh and she thought I meant spicy. No… I said hot and fresh. I had to repeat it several times. The soup was OK.The floors under table number 22 are sticky as hell. I had to rinse the bottom of my shoes off when I got home. I had a hard time finding a place to put my feet under the table so they didn't stick to the floor. What's wrong with this restaurant? No ice tea! What country am I living in?The owner of this restaurant should do more hands-on management so he knows what's going on. They did not have much business tonight.I've given this restaurant several chances. A few times were good but most the time not so good. No more chances! Bye-bye————————Chicken is good. Expensive prices. The soup was OK. Good service

Crab City
7837 Stockton Blvd #500, Sacramento, CA 95823, United States
I took my mom for a mothers day treat, to this place for crabs and seafood - and we are very familiar with seafood boil and Lousiana style of seafood cajun boils. we go to this type of restaurant all the time. I requested the lemon sauce and the waitress, which I later learned was also the manager, told me that they were out of this sauce . we opted for the mix of sauces, and I asked the waitress if it was spicy, and she said that the sauce was mild, not spicy since they did not have the spicy option, only mild. I asked for a thai ice tea and my mom asked for a sangria. the drinks were not good: the thai ice tea was watery and almost not sweet and the sangria was mostly water and tasteless. when the boil came, it looked good, however it was very spicy and hot, so much that we needed to seep water along . I am ok with spicy - even though I prefer not too spicy- however my mom is not ok with it. I called the waitress and told her about the drinks, and that the food was excesively spicy and burning my mouth, and her response was quote: that the food was NOT spicy, was mild, and that no one complained before, so I felt like I was talking to a wall and that she was not really interested on my experience at the restaurant, whether good or bad. we ate the food because we were hungry- my mom ate little because it was to spicy for her, which was dissapointing. the waitress took off the drinks from the bill which I think was reasonable, however I do not think they care if you like the food or not. be prepared for very spicy food even if they say it is mild .

Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine
7840 West Ln Suite E-1, Stockton, CA 95210, United States
A beautiful and flavorful experience having to dine in!Ive came across Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine by Ubereats, it did not bold too well for me. Finding that the entrees and appetizers were the same ole fashion Chinese food. Then came across the hotpot banner in front of their door, I had to try it out one of these day.Met with a kind and gentle server with quick precision and wonderful customer service. I did not believe that one person could handle the floor when there was a mild busy night. The hotpot is to go for even if it may be a tad expensive. Having a group of 3-4 really helps with the price. We gotten the Szechuan hot pot (mild for my taste) but do beware it is spicy. The aroma, flavor and taste of the broth is to die for! There is the option of best of both world half Szechuan, half very down to earth mild and gentle broth. Each item, and the broth will be charged according to the price. Veggies are less costly $5-10, meats are about $10-16 each. There are a lot of options and a good proportions of side to include in the hotpot. Kobe briskets, regular briskets, fish, shrimp etc. Alot of veggies as well, in house dumplings, sauces, etc. The must try would be the quail eggs, Kobe beef and the angus beef in the hotpot. Topped off the the sesame garlic oil either dipped or mixed in the szechuan broth... With rice of course!Everything came out very fast, and gone in an instant. I would come here again just for the hotpot.Tip: if your burner runs out of fuel just ask for more.Thank you for the delicious meal.

I didnt make a post about it before because i thought it was a one time thing, i gave almost a year to give this place another chance just to be called and told they would not serve me because i got food poisoning from their restaurant and i called to tell them i did, to let them know, and they told me they were sorry and to call in to order from now on. Well tried ordering today and as we were about to leave i received a phone call of them cancelling my order and telling me they take food poisoning very seriously here which is why they will no longer be serving me. Just doesnt really make sense but ok. They did refund me but we never diacussed me never ordering from there again, me and my husband both got food poisoning i would never lie about this it is a serious thing which is why i brought it to the restaurants attention in the first place. clearly nothing has changed nor were they gonna change anything to begin with which is why they fired me as a client. Your waitress even said that another client complained about the mushrooms tasting funky and agreed that it could be that. Be Better. Be Healthy. Do Better.

This place is amazing for anything Asian fusion. I was excited when they first opened and have noticed that they have gotten better with service and product offerings in comparison to other locations such as tracy where their menu is dismal compared to the stockton one. I have gone and asked for suggested drinks and if I have questions regarding certain flavors they are eager to explain tastes and preferences so definitely a place to ask for help and try new things without judgment! Their food items are delicious especially the popcorn chicken that had an amazing price and great portions I have also tried the broccoli beef but that was a negative for me. They provide mobile ordering but their site is not as informative as in person ordering. Throughout this pandemic they have executed even better service by providing hand sanitizer, proper visible guidelines and procedures (tables are set up as order pick up stations making it less physical contact between customer and employee with each order having a name on a sticky note ensuring prompt service). Precovid times their bathroom was always messy so with the restroom being closed for the moment I do not see it as a negative thing or a hindrance. Overall I would suggest this location to friends and would definitely stop by again.

First time here and the food was outstanding. We didn't know they have happy hour so we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We ordered the Banh Mi Fries (fries with grilled pork, veg and spicy sauce) were absolutely delicious. The pork was very flavorful and well cooked. The fried artichokes were also part of happy hour. The dipping sauce set off the flavor in the breading used to fried the artichokes. For entrees we had the lobster roll (with house aioli sauce). A very unique take on a New England classic. The lobster was fresh and tender. The fried rice dish with fried egg and Chinese sausage was a star dish. Excellent flavors all around. Eric was a very accommodating and helpful server. The atmosphere is beautiful. When we arrived they were playing country music which didn't fit the vibe, but it was later changed (thankfully) to something more fitting. Can't wait to come back.

Just great. The vibe, the food, & the service was perfect. - 1st experience.. Left a five star after this.2nd experience - Wasnt very busy, the place was half empty, yet had a 20 minute wait to be seated. Just a few minutes before our listed name, which we posted at 11:17pm, was called, a pushy bunch of Asian kids and their Brazilian friend showed up and acted like they were somebody and insisted on being sat. Watching this started to make my blood boil. The Asian kid who thought he was tough had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and then lit it while standing in the entrance doorway which is 7 or 8 feet, at most, to some of the tables. This place is already small so that made it worse. My meal was delicious, the beer was not the coldest however, and my lady who loves Japanese culture and food said the beef in her dish was overcooked and she likes her meat well done. Once our rushed experience was over, even though they werent half full at that point and they close at 1am, the group of four kids were at the host stand which we were sitting behind, attempting to get their bill lowered, speaking in Japanese which my lady understands, telling the host that they could not afford the check of the items that they ordered, all the while the smoker lit up another cigarette standing at the door, which was 7 or 8 feet from our table which is directly behind the host stand. So, with all this in mind, I am lowering my 5 star review to a 2 star review. Their tip also dropped from 20 percent to 15 percent to 12.5 percent and they were a few seconds away from just a 10% tip.Run your business properly. Know the laws (no cigarettes in food based establishments) and Dont expect USA citizens to put up with your bad guests ignorance and B.S.This makes us sad that we cant even experience mediocrity. Does not make sense to us.
