Tsing Tao Chinese Restaurant
711 W Shaw Ave #101, Clovis, CA 93612, United States
This should be 0 stars. I take a chance and go to this restaurant that somehow has good reviews. I was with my teenage son. I ask for an Arnold Palmer to drink which is ice tea mixed with lemonade. The server says we don't do that. I said do you serve tea and lemonade and both answers were yes, but she still refused to make me an Arnold Palmer. Then we order the orange chicken and lemon chicken lunch special, the chicken all breading!!!!! Unbelievable for what I am paying for this lunch. And then the 2nd server who I brought attention to this substandard food dismisses my concerns and made me feel like I was being ridiculous!!! The “fried rice” I ordered as a side was not fried rice, it was literally steamed rice mixed with a regularly cooked egg in it, no seasoning and no vegetables, please do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere!!!! I will never go there again and I would never recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.
Fleurichi Express Sushi
1936 Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, United States
After driving by and thru the intersection of Shaw and Clovis Avenues since 1990 on the northwest corner sits a culinary gem!! The establishment is the Fleurichi Express Sushi. Their address is 1936 Clovis Ave., Clovis, CA. When I first moved here[1990] the best Sushi was Yoshinos. Since that time many, many have opened and closed!! Since COVID, more and more restaurants have made themselves a current culture of take outs, drive thru's and home delivery, in an effort to remain a successful food establishment. From a former successful restaurants owner of 30 years, kudos to this mom and pop operation!! Don't make the same mistake I did. Get in there!! My first time taste was their Caterpillar Roll and Eel Sushi Roll!! Even the kids and grandkids said it was “the Bomb”. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars each for food, service and cleanliness(in place of atmosphere). Congratulations and continued success!!?Sincerely-Fred F., Clovis, CA
Panda Express

Im only giving one star because its the lowest possible I can give without giving any stars at all and still leaving a review. I cant believe how ridiculously rude the manager was. Annette, our server, however, was nothing but sweet and trying to help us validate a coupon that read, quote, 10% off your next 5 visits, but the manager would not honor the coupon and started to argue and get very angry when we tried to explain that the coupon said one thing, but she would not honor what it said. What upset me the most is how she handled the situation. You do not argue with the customers. You do not treat a customer the way she treated us. That was completely inappropriate and we will be contacting corporate and will not be returning.
Panda Express
3170 N Fowler Ave, Clovis, CA 93611, United States
Panda In Clovis, CA has the best Chinese-American Food around! I've NEVER had to wait more than 7 minutes and they've never gotten my order wrong. HOWEVER!!!....They DO NOT close at 9:30 as it says online. They DO NOT close at the time specified on the sign on the door. They START closing around an hour before those times. They begin mopping, phasing out entrees so all pans can be washed, they start carrying out the trash and rope off the areas as they clean then as not to be soiled again by we patrons. Want Orange Chicken and Chow Mein at 8:55? Good Luck! If they're out they're NOT GOING TO COOK SOME FOR YOU! Nope. That pan has been washed, dried and put up and won't be dirtied again til the next day. They move what food is left at about 8:45 to the front and you're told “This is it. This is what's left to choose from.” Want some Walnut Shrimp & Super Greens at 9:00 pm? Well TOO BAD!! You get one egg roll, 1/2 and order of fried rice & 1/2 an order of chow mein and some mushroom chicken! I've contacted the corporate office several times and get their sympathies and a promise to contact the owner or franchisee or who ever. If they're going to shut down menu items and start mopping where the customers stand, it's time to start closing at 9:00!! But something tells me this nonsense would start around 8:15!

Bowlzeye

Bowlzeye is great! I have had the country potato bowl, spicy teriyaki bowl, the nameless potato bowl, spicy garlic chicken bowl & the cowboy potato bowl. I order all my food with white meat only just because its a bit better in my opinion but other than that I make no more changes other than ordering extra sauce from time to time! Everything comes out hot and very fresh and always made right! They have never gave me the wrong food or forgotten something I have asked for. If you call to make a pickup order theyll tell you how long before it is ready, and the time they give is always very accurate. My favorite out of the potato bowls is the nameless. My least favorite is the one with barbeque. And both the spicy garlic chicken & the spicy teriyaki are very yummy but more often order the spicy garlic! Its great

Im highly allergic to shellfish, but this happens to be my daughters favorite place to eat, so I dont mind bringing them here, because it means the theyll actually eat veggies. My first visit here, I was going to just have a coke, since most everything on the menu contains shellfish in one form, or another. Then I spotted the Chinese Checken Salad. I asked the girl behind the counter if there was any shellfish in that particular dish. Her response floored me. She asked me a couple of questions about what I could, and couldnt eat, and then promptly disappeared into the kitchen. She returned carrying fresh, unopened ingredients from the back, and began to prepare said salad for me. Then she said, My dad has a shellfish allergy, too, He has to be very careful whenever he goes out to eat, so I know how careful you have to be. The simple fact that this young person took the time, and effort, to make ensure that there was almost no chance of my food coming into contact with any kind of shellfish, whatsoever, meant so much to me. The food, itself, was delicious, and the Chinese Chicken Salad has become one of my favorite dishes. But, its the superb customer service and attention to detail that make this place a wonderful place to eat.
Thai Season
135 W Shaw Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, United States
I've lived in Texas, New York and multiple parts of California, and have never had better drunken noodles than you get here. This small hole in the wall is owned by a small family — the parents and their son — and they have absolutely fantastic food.My partner and I frequently come here, and we always order drunken noodles. The man who runs the register and serves the food has made it a point to remember our order, and we love conversing with him whenever we have the opportunity. This has resulted in a very happy and welcoming atmosphere, and when dining there, it feels like not only am I going there for the food, but also to hang out with a friend for a little bit.Something you should be aware of is, though you can eat in, all the food is served in to-go containers. With its proximity to Fresno State (which I am a student of), I applaud this decision as it makes it very convenient to take the leftovers you'll probably have, but it also keeps overhead low, which allows for students like my partner and I to enjoy here. You do not sacrifice the quality of food despite the low prices compared to other Thai restaurants — around $15 a person, I want to say.

Not the best experience I have had in an Asian or Pho restaurant. My sons Pho was ok, but the noodles were starchy. I ordered a Korean BBQ beef plate, and the beef was fatty and not very appetizing. We ordered egg rolls to start and they were ok. They had more meat than veges, which it is just my preference to have more veges, but if you like a lot of meat you may like them. All in all I probably wouldnt go back.
Clovis Antique Mall
532 5th St, Clovis, CA 93612, United States
This is the best store out of the bunch! Not a lot of antiques but full of collectibles and memorabilia also really cool unique pieces! Best of all they have the sweetest most dedicated staff. Tom is such a delight! So is everyone else. I don't know his name but the older man that likes to hang out on the top floor is a breath of fresh air. I could listen to the witty staff all day. If you're having a bad day THIS is the place you want to be at! Lots to see and decent prices.
