Costly but good Asian restaurant.
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
18101 Chatsworth St SUITE A, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
Used to go here all the time, love the Thai Basil Shrimp, but after some employee turnover, they suddenly are competing for the we are tirelessly trying to make sure you never step foot in our restaurant again awards. The Thai Basil shrimp or chicken used to be pretty consistent, but then started this pattern of sometimes its good, sometimes its pretty awful, guess it depends on who does the cooking. The third to the last time I came here my friend and I waited for like 15 minutes after we ordered and no food, mind you it takes all of 45 seconds to stir fry this dish. I walked to the counter and said, did you all forget me? The blond haired manager was very nice and apologetic and gave me 2 coupon cards for 2 free meals, but when we got the food, lack of noodles and very oily. The second to last time I came here with one of the coupon cards, and again, like 15 minutes to get the food, lack of noodles and really oily. Today I said to myself, going back with the last coupon, Ill just order something else. So I get in line behind 1, I repeat, one customer who is ordering. I am standing behind this guy for 5 minutes, then I say, excuse me, but could I please order? They have 3 cashiers. The girl at the cash register says, excuse me, Im the cashier today. But the rest of the employees, including the manager are well aware your like waiting forever, but dont seem to care. And you know why they dont care? Because their entire focus at that store is on the post mates and uber eats customers. In all 3 cases theres hardly anybody in the dining room, but they are working away filling orders and putting them in to go plastic bags. So thats their deal: screw the in store customer, if they dont like it they can go somewhere else. So if you go to this store you can count on a guaranteed long wait for not so good food. The entire crew at this store should go to Habit Burger and just watch the show, those people get it when it comes to great customer service experience.
Good Pho You
10648 Balboa Blvd, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
In the shadow of Granada Hills faded grandeur, where sunshine glares through dusty windows and buildings wear their age like weary frowns, I embarked on a quest for comfort: a steaming bowl of pho. Elder parents in tow, lured by the siren song of slurpable noodles and fragrant broth, we ventured into a hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese joint boasting of good Google reviews.Alas, the promise of warmth dissipated along with the non-existent air conditioning. The cavernous space, empty yet oddly oppressive, welcomed us with stifling heat and the flickering neon glow of fluorescent lights. Two friendly young women manned the cash register, a beacon of hospitality in the dimly lit interior.Optimism clung to us, fueled by the anticipation of fragrant broths and springy rice noodles. We ordered generously, two steaming bowls of pho, a sizzling plate of Cha Gio (those Vietnamese spring rolls you know and love), and a comforting beef rice dish. Senior menus, a small victory in the realm of escalating appetites, shaved a modest four dollars off each pho, a welcome reprieve. Then, the first domino: no lettuce wraps for the Cha Gio. Just the lonely dip, staring vacantly at the vibrant tapestry of shredded carrots, mint, and basil. Strike one.The pho arrived, generous in portion, but sadly lacking the ethereal depth of truly great bowls. The noodles, competent but uninspired, swam in a broth that whispered more of blandness than nuanced spice. We shared, slurped, and enjoyed, fueled by the joy of family and the fleeting thrill of gluttony. The beef rice followed, another melody of edible but unexceptional. Flavors played it safe, nothing to write home about or send carrier pigeons to announce a culinary revelation. Still, we ate, the portions dwindling, content with the quiet company and the gentle comfort of a familiar cuisine. But then, as if the universe conspired against our humble feast, the bill arrived. The senior discount, vanished! Apparently, in the culinary code of this particular establishment, sharing was not caring. Eight precious dollars, pilfered by a policy as baffling as it was petty. We grumbled internally, choosing silent smiles over festive conflict. Arguing during Christmas season, even against gastronomic injustice, seemed less appealing than a swift escape. So we paid, thanked the world for the lukewarm experience, and wished them a very happy new year. As we stepped back into the sun-drenched streets, the warmth felt somehow different, tinged with the disappointment of a culinary letdown. The pho, it turned out, was just a footnote in the fading landscape of Granada Hills, a reminder that good eats, like true warmth, arent always easy to find in the shadows. This, my friends, is a critics lament, a ballad of acceptable noodles and misplaced discounts sung under the unforgiving spotlight of a forgotten suburb. And while the memory of that pho may fade with time, the lesson it taught will linger: in the vast culinary landscape, the search for truly great flavors, like the pursuit of true warmth, is a journey worth taking, even if it sometimes leads to empty bowls and chilly hearts.
Panda Express
18080 Chatsworth St #b, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
I like to come to get my food here after work whenever I have no time to prepare; unfortunately, every time I come here, there is this skinny Hispanic man, probably 5'3” to 5'4”, wears a rectangle black-framed eyeglasses and he acts like he is the boss ( he is also sometimes the cook) is EXTREMELY STINGY in serving food. I once heard him instructing the other lady, telling her in Spanish not to put much into the meal she was preparing, so she returned some of the servings. But I noticed he would put a lot of servings to his ethnicity or “his people.” When it comes to other customers, he never smiles, never greets, and always acts irritated. I do not know if it is the franchise policy of this place to be stingy in their food serving because when I go to other Panda, they are generous with their serving, especially when closing time is near.To that Hispanic man, if you have personal issues or are not happy with your job, it is about time to reconsider your other options. To the franchise owner of this Panda Express Chatsworth, Granada Hills, please reeducate and re-evaluate your staff of customer service and serving. This Panda Express is EXTREMELY STINGY IN FOOD PORTION.Hong Kong Express is way better than your serving policy.
SUSHIRAW

The worst place I have ever been. Horrible service, and food was ok at best. I had three children with me, hands full with popcorn, jackets and knick-knacks after movies. The server didnt offer to help. We were given a table in the back, right next to the service/kitchen area and the restroom hall. The server missed one of the items we ordered, then argued with me it was my fault and I had not ordered that item. He never checked on us to see if we needed anything. He forgot to bring our drinks (water and juice), and I had to ask twice before hed get them, and thats with only two other tables busy in the whole house. I would let it all slide, if it werent for the attitude. My 4-year-old daughter and her friend got into the hallway behind our table, and she accidentally broke a ceramic mug that was on some wall stand there (??.) I know, I know, 4-year-olds are supposed to sit glued to their chairs and not move, ever... We apologized several times, and my daughter got upset with what she had done, but it wasnt enough. The hostess told her to go sit on your chair rather rudely, and my daughter started crying. It was supposed to be a fun day for her. Instead, she was in tears for good ten minutes. If you want attitude, rudeness, and sour faces, Sushi Raw is just the place to go.

Rococo Ramen

A solid ramen. It was probably the most thick, creamy, and rich ramen Ive eaten yet, and Im Asian lol so thats saying something. Service is good and food came within 15 minutes. The location isnt terrible. Its close to a neighborhood and a large shopping plaza. Sorta sketchy but not bad. If youre looking for modern, chill ramen restaurant, this is a solid choice.
Lolas Baja Tacos
17027 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
This one star review is because of the poor service I received from the management and not because of the food.We had a $3.00 off coupon we wanted to use which was on any appetizer. In fact, we were motivated to place an order because of the coupon. So we placed an order. I went to pick up the order but forgot the coupon at home. When I went there, the manager wouldn't allow the discount without the actual paper coupon. I apologized for forgetting it and I got a family member to text me the image of the coupon. The manager still wouldn't allow it. I said I'm 20 minutes away and they still wouldn't give me the discount. I had placed a $60 worth of order and they wouldn't give me the $3.00 off. It's not like I was ordering just an appetizer, it was a full dinner. Instead they let me cancel the order, lose the sale and left the food on their counter. Granted, I could have gone home and picked up the coupon, but it was a 40 min roundtrip and it wasn't worth it. I was still considering to get the order and just forget about the coupon but the principle of it all bothered me. The manager's attitude didn't make sense to me considering the situation. This was really a frustrating experience because this could have been easily a win win situation, but it ended up in a lose lose.A word of advice! DON'T FORGET YOUR COUPON!
Poke-Ya
10650 Balboa Blvd A, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
God rest in peace the old management, old asian dude that owned fruttino. Smalls used to include 3 scoops of protein and COST $8.95. Theyre $15 for a small now WITH TWO SCOOPS. You hear that? Less food for a higher price. Respectfully go out of business with your bad investment. If youre literally going to charge double, you can give double selfish. Okay shrinkflation, (this started in 2019) Lolas fish tacos have sustained the same price for inflation. Personally, fresh fish prices have stayed the same of the past few years so please enlighten me on the price inflation... Less food and a higher price. Ill go to teriyakiya now thank you. Keep posting jobs and not hiring people nearby. Literally only seen women or asians women work here, nothing outside of either besides one asian dude over the course of maybe 6 years since 2017- 2018ish? Cmon selective equal hiring opportunities! Poor portions and servings.
Vincenzos Pizza Granada Hills
11045 Balboa Blvd, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
Im not understanding these positive reviews if its based on quality. I took a bite of the pizza fresh out of the oven when I got into my car so it was not because I didnt eat it fresh. If Dave portnoy came here, hed probably give it a 3.2. Honestly taste like a microwave DiGiorno self-rising crust pizza. This is no way a New York style pizza. The crust was thick and doughy and bland (Not thin crispy). The cheese does not taste fresh and it is gummy. And the sauce literally tastes like ragu out of a jar has a ketchup feel. I want to support this local business but honestly it tastes like they dont care about the ingredients. They need to revamp their pizza by starting out with just a good plain cheese. I hope they read this and decide to take action because youre getting competition like Prime and Joes Pizza that are soon coming to Granada hills/Northridge area that could steal the customers for a good quality pizza. By the way, it was way overpriced for what it was. I paid just over $30 for a plain large cheese pizza. I really hope they decide to change the quality because I would have paid $30 for a great quality pizza, not for this it should be around $23 though. Good luck!

Nice place to do sone errands if you’re on the way home, groceries, bank, and other small restaurants located in this area. Island Pacific just opened (Asian Supermarket) with small eatery inside (wish they put more space for dining).
