I came to this Thai place that I have been coming for many years, and today, the waitress misunderstood our drink orders and had an attitude. All that needed to be done was to change it, and not give her customers a hard time. To avoid any confrontation with her, I did not acknowledge her when she brought our food out. She got upset I didnt say thank you after she brought our food to the table. So she said it to herself, very sarcastically. I asked her what was her problem, she replied that I did not order the Thai tea. I told her I want to speak with the owner and she said she was the owner. I dont understand, how this lady messed up a drink order from a long time customer, who always gets the same Thai Tea drink every time shes there. But there is a guy in Yelp who posted the same problem he had with her, that very same day. If she is the owner I feel sorry for the customers. She finally kicked me out of the place, all because of a misunderstanding over a drink order, which was her fault. Thru the years, I have brought a lot of people to this place. I cant believe something as simple as a drink mix up, which was her mistake, would cause bad customer service. She lacks good customer service skills and understanding.

I was in California on business and we were having a craving for Pho, so after a bit of a search we found a few places, we happened on Montebello Pho & Sandwich. Initially the GPS didnt do us any favors and got us lost twice saying we were at the address, but it is a little behind where the GPS sent us. We almost gave up but then eventually figured it out and I am so glad we did.Montebello Pho & Sandwich is one of the best Pho restaurants I have been to while I was in California!!! First off, I had never seen a Pho place with a drive thru, that was amazing!!! The menu was quite different than what Im used to in Canada at a Pho place, but it still had all the staple items you would expect ... The service was great and the owners were very friendly. I found eating on the outdoor patio while the sun was setting was such a nicer experience than Im used to for a Pho restaurant.We shared a few starters and each got a meal and no one was disappointed with what they got. The bubble tea was tasty and was a nice completion to the already great meal.All and all next time I go back to California I hope I get to stop in for another meal. 5/5 for sure !!!

To start off. The food isn't that bad but you know what is? The cashier named Lily. She had the most disgusting attitude I have ever seen. Does this girl even know what customer service is? I accidentally grabbed the wrong change during my transaction and she very rudely screamed at me. I let her know it was a mistake and she held onto her attitude some more. After some exchange of words, she tried to snatch my food AFTER I had already paid for it. The level of disrespect this employee had was through the roof. She should be fired immediately. @pandaexpress do better.

Laid back family friendly place for good fish and sake and beer. The sushi chefs are friendly even though they are slammed for a Friday night dinner rush.Rolls are priced around $8-$15.They carry uni and quail egg which is my litmus test for any sushi place.Yet this is NOT a place for sushi snobs.This is a place that caters to its demographic and the rolls, salads and even sashimi are served in over the top plates that seem big but offer lots of fluff like lettuce and shaved radish to make the dish seem bigger than it is.The specialty rolls are over stuffed and the extra sauces do not complement the fish but mask it instead.I had a Firemans Roll which had an awesome seared pepper tuna. The siracha, jalapeño, and spicy crab completely overwhelmed the fantastic tuna. I wouldnt have known there was tuna on it except for the fact that I picked it off and tasted it without all the sauce and filler.This unfortunately does take away from the flavor of the fish. There were literally two fist fulls of shredded radish and parsley on my sashimi plate. Not necessary. Not offensive but not necessary.The seaweed salad has a nice portion atop a mountain of mixed greens!Not necessary.Looking around the dining room and the average person weighed around 240 lbs.I suspect that the presentation of the dish is aimed to please this demographic.But I cant really trash this place. You can skip the fluff and have some really good fish. The salmon is buttery, the albacore flavorful and the tuna was smooth and very very slightly iodine flavored which is rare.Its in a strip mall so if you are trying to impress a date it may not be the best place but if you want some good fish at a reasonable price, it sure beats the two other sushi restaurants in the area.

We ordered our food, its been a while since weve had their food, all the plates are beef, chicken, shrimp, pork or vegetable stir fry noodles. All of the plates start off at $11.99. The menu states that their plates Come with a generous portions of Broccoli, Onions, Carrots and Cabbage. You can order extra protein for $2.99 @ of beef, chicken, pork or shrimp. If you love noodles you can pay $4.99 for extra serving of noodles. You can add upto 4 more ingredients such as green onions, baby corn, red chili flakes, garlic, pineapple, bean sprouts, and or mushrooms. On all of our plates we ordered extra protein, noodles and the ingredients. When we received our food 2 had been ordered with bean sprouts, but none was seen. We couldnt find the green onions, we hardly had any proteins although we paid extra for a double serving. The one plate we ordered was supposed to have shrimp with chicken. On my whole plate Id be lucky if I had 5-6 shrimps. They were small in size, we had a whole lot of noodles, when I say a lot we had left overs of exactly what we ate. Ok being nice, people are still reopening since Covid 19, maybe there stock is low but dont give customers the option ordering a double portion of proteins or vegetables that you dont have. I gave it a 1 star because the app doesnt let you do less. Their generous portions of veggies was non existent. My husband joked when he found 1 carrot on his plate.. Needless to say we wont order from here again. They take your money and they dont give you anything you ask for. Sad!!

If you like a healthy and tasty meal, try Flame Broiler. Its a white or brown rice bowl with a decent helping of vegetables and your choice of flame broiled chicken, beef, or tofu. I have tried all three varieties, and I enjoy them all. You can also control the portion of your meal since they have mini-bowls, regular bowls, and large bowls (for the really hungry person.) I personally think the mini-bowl is filling. In addition, if you like spicy food, they have hot sauces to top your meal with or jalapenos. Try the double hot green sauce if you dare. This location in Montebello is clean and not too crowded.

Looking for something to eat thats absolutely delicious and healthy! Eat here and the prices arent bad, because its worth the taste or, tastes for this amazing food flavor because once you start, you wont stop, you wont be able to put the fork down and if my 14 year old says; Yoshinoya has nothing on them. Trust his taste buds because he is picky when it comes to going out to eat because hes so used to my homemade cooking and baking. Hes ready to go back for 2nds! ? The gentleman who answered the phone to place our order was very helpful and patient because it was our first time ordering here.

I love this place! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the robot waiter really just brings the food to your table to assist the actual waiters with delivery.The head off shrimp are deveined and split, so its really easy to peel the shell off. My favorite flavor so far is the Thirteen flavor under Asian Flavor. The spice level starts at medium as the minimum, so if you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend this one. It has a combination of 5 spice and szechuan taste (Im sure theres more to it, but thats what my palette picked up)You can also add noodles to your bag which is cool, however, keep in mind what you order when adding noodles, if you do clams, mussels, crawfish, etc theres a high chance of having pieces of shell or antennae in your noodles, I recommend head off shrimp only with noodles.The micheladas were great as well and paired perfectly with our order.This was my 2nd time here, and so far, its easily becoming a new favorite!
