This restaurant is usually a good place to eat but last night it was terrible. After receiving our soup, everyone at our table (my party + one other party) had to wait a total of 16 minutes for a soup spoon and this is after three of us asking waitresses/waiters for spoons. I finally had to get up and go to front to ask for spoons. We waited 10 more minutes after I got up to ask. In addition, after giving our orders, I told him no onions because I am allergic. He got the fried rice correct, with no onions, but when making the vegetables, he dumped a huge pile of them with the onions on top of the rest of my food on my plate. My food was cooked okay but the other party stated their s was not and one guy ordered well done and got a few pieces that were rare which cook mixed with next persons rare order. At the end of our meal, we all received our checks quickly but they never asked any of us if we wanted dessert/ice cream. I had to flag him down to ask for ice cream. Then the other party saw we were eating ice cream and they werent and had to find a waiter to continue serving them, as well. They all ordered ice cream, as well. I am sorry but when you spend $150.+ for two people to eat, for dinner, you expect better service. They know how much every party is spending. Its a lot to eat there. I spend the same or less at Ruths Chris or Flemings and get impeccable service. Side note: The worst part of this restaurant is the lighting is so bright you feel like you are at the doctors office getting an examination. Terrible lighting. I overheard several others mention how bright it was in there so its not just our party. I havent been here in a few years and not going back. Looking forward to better options when they finish building the mall extension on the lot next door.

Savory Pho
19348 Rinaldi St, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
I stopped by here with my sister family last night after my nephew basketball practice. It was a great choice because the weather was cold and the place was nearby. There are tons of parking here so you wont have any issues because its in a Amazon Fresh plaza. When we walked in, we were seated right away and given the menu. I got the Beef bun me, my nephew got the chicken pho and my sister got their bun bo hue soup. The pho and soup came out quick, my bun mi was the last dish to come out. I really enjoyed my beef bun mi, the bread was so soft and thr beef was delicious. I wouldve hope they added more carrots and vegetables but it was fine. My nephew and sister loved their dish since they come here every Friday night. The customer service we received was amazing, they constantly checked up on us and asked how was the food. They also have a all gender restroom here so no more male or female separate bathroom.

Tomo Sushi

We came here for lunch and it was only 2 people eating at the restaurant. I thought it would be a little busier but it wasnt. We didnt mind since it would be faster service for us.The restaurant was very clean and It had great decor. It had an elevated dining area with a few tables which gives the restaurant a unique layout. We ordered a few rolls that you would typically find at every sushi restaurant. The California roll was good but it was not carefully prepared. The pieces fell apart when you picked it up with your chopsticks. The Crunch Roll was better prepared but lacked the taste. The only roll that I liked out of our order was the Salmon Skin roll. The roll was prepared with a nice design and the salmon skin was very tasty.Overall, the food was just ok.Given the other Yelp reviews, I thought the food would be better. Maybe we just had an inexperience sushi chef when we went.

This review is strictly for the Thanksgiving Catering Order. I placed an order for about 6 sides, 2 soups and 1 pie. My pick-up was 11/23 between 2pm-3pm. I arrived at 2:40pm and spent 10 minutes in line waiting to check in. WF has a new system where once you check, an employee will take your order to the back for it to be filled. You provide your cellphone number which youll receive a text letting you know youre check in with a link to let you know where you are in the virtual queue. Reception at this WF isnt the greatest, even with Verizon so it made it difficult to check to see where I was in the queue. Others around me had the same issue. We even attempted to connect the WF wifi to no avail. I waited 1 hour and 25 minutes to get my order. Unfortunately, I never received a text saying my order was ready while in the store. After about an hour or so one of the employees walked around asking how long have we been waiting. Anyone that had been waiting over an hour he took our order papers, went to the back and came back and said our group was next. We were a group of about 5 or 6. Here are some of the issues I/we observed while standing around waiting. 1) too many staff at the table doing nothing, looking confused because it was completely unorganized 2)not enough staff in the back to help pull and assemble order 3) too many orders were sent to one table when there were two tables to fill orders 4) many orders that were being pulled the customers werent even around and we witnessed these orders sitting out for over 30mins.If WF cannot fix this failed virtual system then please go back to the old effective method. I check in and go stand in the queue and get my order filled when I get to the front of the line. Ive only had to wait 30mins max the last few years with that method. That is reasonable. Whats not reasonable is having me and others waiting 1-2 hours, after checking in to get an order when we had a designated time frame.

Food was great with a lot of choices to choose from. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms as well. The waiter we got was terrible. Taylor she took too long to take our order, but this was not the worse. The worse was that She had bad attitude and she was rude. She took our order finally and left. Finally at the end she came to see how we were doing ....the whole time that we were there another person helped us. For more drinks, for more bread, and who brought the food was another waiter. She was either too busy for us or she was having a bad day. When one works in a customer service environment, we have to leave our problems at home how soon we walk in our work place. Now the restaurant is great and I would recommended to anyone. I hope you get a better service than we received....enjoy cheers !

Walmart Supercenter

***EXPERIENCE 3*** (Positive)I decided to cool down by getting myself an ice maker. I went to the small appliance aisle to make my selection, and I was off to check-out. At check-out the young woman was having issues scanning the ice maker. My temperature was starting to rise, so I asked for a manager. The young woman asked another woman for help. The other woman tried scanning the item without success. She looked the box over, and tried again. This time with success. She explained to the young woman that she was scanning the wrong code. Everything was resolved to my satisfaction. And, I left the store feeling as cool as a cucumber.***EXPERIENCE 2*** (Positive)On my most recent shopping trip I noticed that everything seemed to be a lot more orderly. Not just in one section, but the entire store. The aisles were clean, and the shelves were neatly stocked. I was very impressed with how organized everything looked. And, I had no problem finding everything I needed. The store definitely looked very well managed. At checkout the cashier was very pleasant and did a good job. This experience positively affected my impression of this store.***EXPERIENCE 1*** (Negative)I was just at this location purchasing eye care products. I had to check out something, so I had my mother wait for the locked up goods. I came back about 20 minutes later and the Walmart employee after prodding finally came over to help us. The woman from the very start was combative, and started arguing with my mother. My mother was asking the woman why she was ignoring her. The woman stated that she cant be everywhere. However, we were there before the multitudes of other people she was helping. My mother told the woman she pushed the button first, before the other people. The Walmart employees response is very interesting. She stated, I NEVER RESPOND TO THE BUTTON. Then what is the point of the button. The womans name is Brinder, she was working in the pharmacy section around 7:00pm on 12/23. After talking to my mother. I would consider this a very serious incident. As I stated, we were there first. My mother tried to flag down the woman several times. But, she kept helping other people. The interesting thing is the Walmart employee appeared to be an Indian with brown skin. Both my mother and I are Japanese. And, all the people she helped before my mother were brown in color. I hate to think this was a case of racism. But, I witnessed the womans attitude towards my mother. Walmart, you have security monitors everywhere. I would review them. In fact, if its true the employee avoided helping an Asian, in favor of multiple people of a certain color. Thats abhorrent.

This was my first time exploring Korean Soul food. The atmosphere is really nice, they have the little huts typical of Asian restaurants. I came with a friend of mine and we were seated right away. The staff is small but we never felt forgotten. The food is ample and tasty. I will definitely be back.

Silverlake Ramen
20065 Rinaldi St Unit 160, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
As I embarked on my quest for noodle nirvana, I stumbled upon this humble ramen joint. What perplexed me was the apparent lack of 4+ stars. Was this an alternate universe where flavor and fun were frowned upon?We ordered the most popular items, and let me tell you, it was like slurping down a rainbow of flavors. Each noodle strand was like a high-five from a tiny angel of deliciousness, and the broth? Oh, the broth! It was like swimming in a pool of liquid gold, if gold tasted like umami heaven. The ambience was decent, but what really struck gold for a tired parent was the kids play area just outside the restaurant. It was like dining in the splash zone at SeaWorld, but with less Shamu and more tiny humans. If you have kids, its a recipe for a noodle-tastic good time.In conclusion, this ramen joint deserves every star in the Michelin constellation (ok, maybe not Michelin). I urge you to embark on your own adventure to noodle nirvana, and let the ramen rescue you from the clutches of mediocrity. And hey, with that play area, you might even score some well-deserved grown-up time while the kids frolic!Pro Tip:1. if you're ordering online for pickup, your order might show ready online but it might take longer. Even on less busier nights like Mondays, it might take 30-40 minutes for order to get ready.2. If you're sitting on tables next to the door, you might have people waiting for their pickup orders right next to you. Avoid that situation.
