Kens Japanese Restaurant
10006 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
On 11/29/2022 at 7:20PM, and I have just left Ken's Japanese Restaurant which is located at 10006 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 97130. I have been in the area for less than a week. When I arrived, I was told I could not dine in, which was odd, as there were several other separate parties eating there inside. I was forced to order a take-out order and leave. I generally am used to spending hundreds of dollars on omakase alone, but couldn't even get past the door. When I inquired about this, their answer was, “these customers have been loyal during covid, thus allowing access.” Is this a like a night club in Hollywood or Dubai? Even then cash is king. I left ordering otoro, bluefin tuna, and blue crab to go, which isn't the same as eating it dining in. I didn't want to order more due to the experience I have received. That has been the worst discrimination I felt in my life. In the early 80's I was one of the few Asians who grew up in Bellflower, CA and have never felt that way. I have also lived in different countries around the world and other states and have never ever experienced that. To a certain extent, shouldn't customers be treated with the same level of respect? Is this a like a night club in Hollywood or Dubai? Even then, cash is king. I just don't get it. Ken's has a lost a customer for life, as I would never consider ever going there again, nor do I recommend anyone else going.

Koyla Indian Restaurant
8140 Haven Ave #101, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
Seriously not to be totally cheesy or corny, but this place really is a, Whoooo! As good as it gets!Im a samosa snob. Like, literally. I judge how well an Indian restaurants cuisine will be simply on their samosas alone. If the samosa sucks, there is a 99.9% likelihood the entrees suck too. So far my theory has not proved wrong.Koyla has the second best samosas I have ever greedily shoved in my mouth. They were simply to die for delicious. As far as the entrees, between the three of us we all sampled the chicken tiki masala, curry goat, and curry lamb.I typically always play it on the safe side the first time I try a new Indian restaurant and order the chicken tiki masala, because you cant really mess that dish up too badly. The waitress said I made a good decision because they are known for this specific dish. She was not wrong. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and the dish was literally melt in your mouth like butter. I felt like I was having a party in my mouth, because I could taste all the flavors and the sauce was not over powering in the least.I sampled my friends goat and lamb, and while those are usually two meats that can be tricky to cook, neither were tough at all.As far as the prices they were very affordable and the restaurant had coupons online. Its good to see Ontario has stepped its game up.

Kabuki Japanese Restaurant
12595 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
We ordered two rolls and two ramen. The two rolls were good BUT THE RAMEN IS THE REASON FOR THIS ONE STAR. Two ramen came out, my friends was the miso and mine was spicy beef. The miso came out okay, it wasnt the best ramen ever but it was decent.I dont even know where to start with mine, the noodle was so mushy that I thought it was overcooked at first. But my friend ate it and he was like I dont think this is cooked. And he was right, the noodle was much thinner than his, and it had this uncooked noodle taste. Like it wasnt even undercooked, it was just not cooked at all, how do they forget to cook the noodle? Once we told the server he took it to the kitchen and said they will bring out a new one, it was totally different this time, even the soup tasted different. It was definetly a lot hotter and it had a nice smoky taste and the noodle was bigger in size.I honestly, dont like how they handled the situation, there was no apology, no compensation except bringing a new bowl, which we had to wait even longer for.We were a group of 2, came here on Friday 7:30 seated at 7:55, so far all good. We sat there for 15 min, no one came by. Another group was seated in front of us, another five minutes passed. A server came and took drink orders from the group that came after us and finally came to us. mind you, weve been waiting for a good 20 min already so I asked if we can put our order in as well but the server said hell put in the drinks first and take our order after. So we just ask for water, he left, and we waited another 5-10 min and this other server takes the order of the group that came after us first, and finally our order is taken. Before our food comes out, the group that came 15min after us is already done eating.I just dont think they have a good system in place, I mean obviously from the ratings as well. Their food is decent but they really need to step up their service.

Very high end Asian restaurant. The ambiance is very nice. The decor is beautiful. The lighting is very dark, a little too dark for my liking.Came with a party of 20 and we got seated in the back. If you come with little ones in strollers they make you leave the strollers in the front. Just because there isnt as much room in their seating areas. The food was pretty decent. The workers were very helpful and super accommodating. Our sever did such a great job!!! Thank you Tony !!I ordered an espresso martini and I just didnt like it.Also the mandarin Asian salad needed more dressing so ask for some more. I honestly loved the calamaris but Im such a sucker for them.

Java Bistro

Let me tell ya, this place is actually one of the closest and best taste I've ever had near my house, I live in Highland and this is a perfect place not too far from my house to go to, since the pandemic they do not take order in the house they want you to call in and order and pick it up,(For take out) I am currently pregnant and I do crave Indonesian food that is convenient for me (order vs making them) when I called in I ask that I want two NASI PADANG and I actually ask if they could make it vegetarian because I knew from my previous visits here I could do that but the person on the phone said no can't make it vegetarian, so I went along with it I'm thinking I can just place the meat aside I was just craving bold flavor, and mind you she said 15mins, my travel time is 30min so I'm assuming when I arrive the food will be ready for me to takeout, long story short, I had to wait another 15min and I have a habit of checking everything in the car before we go, when I checked I'm like I don't see no leaf packaging (which is what nasi padang usually place in) I see two boxes, so I went ahead and open it, well I just found rice and rendang beef I'm like.. this is not what I order... I went back and told the cashier that they got my order wrong in the nice way and this rude lady came out from the kitchen and she was like “I talked to you on the phone, YOU DID ORDER THESE” but I'm like no I said I wanted nasi Padang, the thing I don't like is she was so adamant that I WAS THE ONE IN THE WRONG, let me tell ya, I AM A VEGAN PREGNANT WOMAN, I KNEW WHAT I WANT AND I KNEW WHAT I PICK AND CHOOSE TO GO INSIDE MY BELLY IN THIS CRAZY CRAVING TIME SO DO NOT TELL ME I WAS WRONG.. I am sorry but even my hubby said I never said rendang I said Padang.. oh well not very happy about the attitude.. even though at the end of the day she told us to wait another 15min (ended up staying a bit longer than that) she fix the order and give me my nasi Padang but I already have these ill-feel about how she doesn't have to do all that fuss.. I feel like service matters over food no matter how delicious your food, if your service suck I will give you a bad review cuz that is not a good experience to feel.. the cashier said sorry and she's not even the one that is wrong but I appreciate her apologizing! Like I said the food is amazing but the rude lady, someone just need to talk to her to calm it down..

Basic Asian buffet, most items lacked in flavor. Restaurant was clean and staff nice, just not overly thrilled with taste and selection of food. Not likely to return.

Dumpling Master
7220 Day Creek Blvd #149, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
Restaurant Background: Individual Chinese cuisine serving noodles dumplings.signature item: dumplings and pot sticker. I ordered port pot sticker from most recent visit.Restaurant is clean and bright. Unlike some Asian restaurants, the space between each table is wide. Their menu is easy to read and straight forward. Dish names are in English, and Chinese translations are right next.I ordered clear broth beef noodle soup. Apparently, it is a soup in English because it is noodle soup, not soup noodles. It is confused to English speakers. This is just an ok Beef soup noodle. The soup was plain, not flavored. Pot stickers were must try. crunch and juicy. Unfortunately, they dont home made secret sauce. Most dumpling places use to have their own sauce.

Pho Spot
8802 Base Line Rd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701, United States
If you are tired of the wait and indifferent service at Pho Ha as I was you have to come here. Restaurant is very clean, the Pho is excellent and the manager/owner is always there with a great smile and they are genuinely happy to serve.Water never goes empty, they happily give you extra jalapenos, sprouts, lime etc. The spring rolls are often rolled to order so you may wait a little longer than other restaurants but the food is so much fresher. What I really like is that they give a small dish of sauce for each customer rather than one for the table. No double dipping here! The sauce is also much better than Ive had at other places like 1 Pho Noodle & Grill. They have a great lunch special sandwich and the typical expansive menu but of course I go for the Pho Tai Nam Gan. Perhaps a little lighter in portion than Pho Ha, their broth is better, never oily and very consistent. My only concern is that they are located in a poorly managed strip mall and as a result arent as busy as they deserve. Thus they are understaffed and can on occasion miss a few beats if they get a rush but never out of indifference or incompetance. Of course if that happened consistently Im sure they would adjust the staffing. If you like Pho and suffer bad or indifferent service to get it, try Pho Saigon and suffer no more.Edit Remove

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! Some of the best Thai food Ive ever had ? When we visit a new town we always scout out the best Thai food around and this is definitely the place. Massaman curry is our favorite; here they have it listed as MusMun Curry but its the same flavor- super tasty! We also got cream cheese wontons and the E-San Sausage- both were amazing! We tried the Garlic White Pepper dinner- with shrimp. Most thoroughly prepared shrimp ive ever eaten at a restaurant- they cleaned the shrimp and deveined them the way I would at home- thoughtfully and completely, and the shrimp were HUGE and so flavorful... I kinda wanna drive all the way back to Rancho just to get some more of this place, especially the shrimp haha... Btw their Thai Tea was also bomb hahaha I was in town celebrating my 30th Birthday so I also ordered the fried banana, it was not what I was expecting but in the BEST way! It was soOoOOoo good! It had coconut and banana, fried up and served with some chocolate sauce for dipping... Also had some green tea ice cream that we devoured before we made it back to the hotel, so sorry no photos of that haha but trust me if youre searching for some absolutely delicious Thai food, search no further. Service was fast, they were super friendly, and the food was just incredible! Highly highly recommend =)

THERE WAS A CASHIER MALE HISPANIC WORKING APRIL 2, 2019 APPROXIMATELY NOONNARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER- one of several types of personality disorders is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem thats vulnerable to the slightest criticism.A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when theyre not given the special favors or admiration they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships unfulfilling, and others may not enjoy being around them.
