Baramee Thai Restaurant
354 W 6th St, San Pedro, CA 90731, United States
Ive ordered food from the San Pedro location and each time was either a hit or miss. I like to give businesses a chance before I leave a negative review, just to be fair. I think Ive given BT enough chances.Pros:*Ive never had a problem with the staff. Each time Ive ordered, Ive experienced professional service.*I never had to wait long for my food.Cons:*The last few times Ive ordered, my food was not up to par. Im not a picky eater either. For instance, I ordered the Surf and Turf and I was not satisfied with the dish at all. The filet mignon was tough, dry, and somewhat burnt. The rice was too dry and brittle, and the shrimp was overcooked. The dish tasted like warmed-up left-overs from the restaurant served the day before. The dish was bland, to boot.*Although I think the food is overpriced, I dont mind paying extra for it, as long as its cooked well. I dont know if they have a new chef now but my last few orders were not palatable. Actually, I enjoyed the food more when I purchased take-out orders when Covid was at its peak. One time I ordered the Thai Sweet Sticky Rice and it was so overcooked that some of the rice was hard, stuck together, and difficult to chew. I really want to like BT as Im fond of supporting local businesses. Conclusion:Overall, I was pleased with the dishes at BT during Covid times but now, I dont know if I should continue to beton BT and gamble my money away, hoping to get a good-tasting meal. I might give the restaurant another try. But, if Im not happy the next time, Im going to have to go elsewhere.

I met with the general manager Chris, who, by the way, is a rather young gentleman with a bright head on his shoulders and a firm. Understanding of quality product and customer satisfaction. to describe that dining area. It is superb very clean and Immaculately so the type of establishment where you already know that its okay for your little girl to use the restroom because its prestine in there. (And I really didnt have to evaluate it because like I said...) My order was succinctly presented and hot, tasty and amazing to the eye (with even my specifications considered which was no brocoli). Although an honest mistake which was no steak included... the owner quickly through me a bowl he prepared himself with no hesitation after confirming the mistake when I allowed him to view my receipt...with extras... double or probably triple the amount! SOLID! He had no idea that I was going to review his establishment. Hes such an awesome dude. He even threw me some dumplings which were absolutely delectable. I am going to continue to come here. ITS CLEAN AND THE TABLES AND FLOORS AND WALLS AND COUNTERS AND EMPLOYEES AND KITCHEN!

3 strikes you're out!! There's no way I requested chicken well (breast) done, Ex green onions on top & side, & avocado. You all continue to mess up my order when I order delivery. My chicken was overcooked smelled like lighter fluid, couldn't eat the meat. Requested veggies No carrots..um didn't get any veggies except for the cabbage, & my damn avocado was over ripped. First meal of the day was a disappointment & distasteful! Called to speak w management, no one was available & I was told to leave a message. Dissatisfied with food & customer service!!

No wait at 630 on a Monday night with a concert going on at SAP. Street parking or pay at the garage. They don't have any large tables but could push some together. They also have counter seating. Write your name and number on the paper by the door. They will call you when your table is ready if you aren't waiting right there.I would come here again. Had to ask for refill on water but they did come to check often. Sometimes they came to the table but didn't take dirty dishes.Cucumbers-didn't have too much flavor. Crisp and refreshing but not marinated in the dressing long enough.Garlic noodles- lots of flavor and slightly sweetGiant xlb- too big and messy to eat. Asked for a spoon and they only had a teaspoon to offer. The soup spoons were being washed. Maybe we didn't know how to eat it. But they didn't tell us the right way or offer the spoon. They just gave a straw with it.Salina meat ball- pork meatball with water chestnuts and sweet rice. I love shrimp balls like this at other places so I had to try it. I added some vinegar to it and ate the whole plate myself. It's not the prettiest dish but I would order it next time.

I recently came to this theater to watch KTown Cowboys as part of the Asian Pacific Film Festival. The theater was a bit hard to find until I got there and realized, Ive totally been to this quad before! The theaters located next to the Japanese Buddhist Temple (exact name escapes me at the moment), and the entrance of the theater faces the quad.People collecting tickets are right at the door (one entrance), this is pretty much a 1 show/screen large theater of a semi-sphere. There are multiple doors into the theater based on where your seats are located.Overall, comfy seats, good audio, large stage and screen. To my knowledge, a lot of independent films are shown here, especially during the film festival, and the cast/crew will come up on stage afterwards for Q&A. I also understand that there are live performances as well.At night time, can get sketchy, safety in numbers. My buddy and I were approached by a guy (doesnt seem to be homeless) asking for money in a demanding way. Street parking only, some meters are free after 6pm while some say after 8pm. Read the signs carefully.Id totally come back to this theater again in the future for another event!

Quaint setting with classic Italian restaurant charm, but with a menu that mixes traditional Italian flavors with touches of Asian flavors. Service is great and the food is good. Worth a visit if youre in San Pedro.

Busy Bee Market

I have heard alot of hype about this place so we decided to give this place a try and see if it lived up to it. Well..I heard it was gonna be a long wait so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we were already placing our order at the counter within 30 minutes. There happened to be a couple just ahead of us that also said it was their first time so today was a good day for them too. We got to the counter and placed our order for a turkey, avocado and provolone sandwich with a side of macaroni salad and 2 (805) tall cans. This is a market so they do not have any place to sit down and eat it...Soo; Here is how it went down once paid for our items. We took said items down the hill to a beach park setting and quickly unpacked it all. The bread was super fresh and the turkey was freshly cut into thick slices. The portion was admirable but wait; The taste. First bite was juicy and flavorful and messy. We both stopped all coherent conversation in replacement for a serious of harmonious mmmms. All in all; I WILL BE BACK. I wouldve waited over an hour for this thing and I can see why people do. Good job guys! Oh.. BTW; I also bought one of there tank tops to commemorate this day. Worth it! This thing will fill you up for sure but whilst we were in the area we also hit up BUONOS PIZZA. I am reviewing this place right after I put this last period.

Whiskey Flats BBQ

I would try it once and see For yourself if its worth the cost at the portions they give. Theres no question that the food is very good .Bottom line, ( Portion sizes on the whole dish Between the meats and the sides are not up to par) I give it 3 stars but it deserves 4 and a 1/2 plus if they adjust the portion sizes on the meal, If and when that happens youll be lines out the door . Brisket was exceptional, ribs were Good Thick outer rub, Definitely an adult style barbecue,Seems like a quaint little spot, People running it seem Down-to-earth. I ordered the two meat combo With 2 sides and a can coke It cost me $24 plus a $2 tip to go. I picked the brisket and the ribs, For my sides I wanted Mac and cheese but they were out, So I ended up with coleslaw and potato salad, It didnt come with corn Bread, But it looked good from Afar I just didnt want the up charge. My 1st impression of the Box when I opened it was how small the sides were, I was sadden And then I noticed that the meat was floating on 2 mattres size Texas toast bread,

During our search for a place to dine, we stumbled upon The Shore Grille in San Pedro, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be! As first-time visitors, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience.I opted for the Mushroom Swiss Burger, and it was truly amazing. The combination of juicy mushrooms, melted Swiss cheese, and perfectly cooked turkey patty created a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. The accompanying waffle fries were decent, although they didnt quite steal the show like the burger did.My husband decided to try the Mahi Mahi dish, served with mashed potatoes and arugula. He was thoroughly impressed by the freshness and flavor of the fish, perfectly complemented by the creamy mashed potatoes and the peppery bite of the arugula.Overall, our dining experience at The Shore Grille was excellent, thanks to the delicious food and friendly service. We left feeling satisfied and eager to return in the future. If youre in San Pedro and looking for a memorable meal, be sure to give The Shore Grille a try – you wont be disappointed!
