Kabuki Japanese Restaurant
24045 Newhall Ranch Rd Suite A-2, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
Not sure what happened but this place used to be a ton better. Service and food.1st of all. Called ahead since it's my wife's birthday. Wanted cake but they only offer ice cream and with Happy Birthday on plate. I said great and told them it was going to be a surprise time . They told me to let them give them my name (like reservation) and they would take care of it.Well got there a bit earlier then the scheduled time. I was surprised to see that the Host was no where to be found only a maintenance worker fixing something under the desk. Maybe a minute wait and someone shows up. I tell him that I made a reservation for me and my wife (just like they told me over the phone) he angrily remarks that they don't do reservations. I nicely told him I called earlier. But he wasn't listening at all.For our food. My wife wanted to eat so she ordered a dragon roll as soon as we sat down with our drinks. After a my while wife asked for a none spicy soup and waitress said the pumpkin one was not spicy. Wife ordered it. We also ordered our meal then. Well soup comes out. My wife has a spoon of it. Top of soup has Cayenne pepper or it. She was not just surprise but in pain from the burning pepper. We tell our waitress and she gets a new order. Well our main food arrives and we start eating. It's been a few minutes since our food arrives and I ask waitress what happened to my wife's dragon roll. She said she will check on it. She promptly brings it over. We had ordered it the roll early so we could get it before the actual food. Not with with. We also had to ask for forks since none were given with the salad or noodles. I know chopsticks are given but they used to ask if you wanted a fork not this time.Well we finish our food. I'm hoping that bring the ice cream maybe the person who greeted us was just trying to actually make it a surprise. Well this didn't happen. By then I'm a bit upset service was not the best and my surprise was ruined. thanks guys.If service and food are great I have no problem leaving tips. But with slow service and no Birthday surprise I decided not to. I pay my bill. The most surprising thing that has ever happened to me at a restaurant happens. The waitress ask why no tip also says I can still leave one. I'm amaze that she even asked. It felt like she was telling me to give her a tip. Not sure what the rules are about asking for tips here but I was taken back with that.Oh and thanks for the ice cream that never showed up I appreciate the service.

Wokcano
24201 Valencia Blvd #3452, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
Nice, higher end Asian restaurant located at the mall. We went and made it for Happy Hour which had decent priced appetizers. We did not drink any alcohol but the bar looked good. Would be a good place to come for a drink and appetizers. We ordered an order of eggrolls (but they brought us 2 which was our fault in how we ordered) and an order of steamed dumplings. Both were very good! For the main meal, we ordered Lemon Chicken and brown rice. We also optioned for the addition of soup and salad for an additional $6. Hubby ate the soup while I had the salad. Both were very good. The main dish portion was huge and, even with sharing the main dish, we had leftovers. For me, I found the Lemon Chicken dry even with the sauce. I would have preferred a more traditional chinese dish with veggies but, based on the menu, options were limited for a dish with veggies. We probably should have ordered a veggie dish and maybe added chicken.Would I go again. I dont think I would go for the full meal but I would consider going for Happy Hour. Drinks and a few apps would be good and not as pricey!

Pho Sure
23876 Copper Hill Dr, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend that I trust, especially since she owns a successful Chinese restaurant. My wife and I went to the Pho Sure on 7 Nov 16 at approximately 7 PM. They were busy, and we were the only guests waiting to be seated. We waited about 5 minutes (reasonable), to be greeted, and we were directed to be seated right next to the door. Being that I just left Providence Urgent Care due to Asthma issues, I asked if we could please be seated away from the door. Again there was no one waiting behind us. No attempt was made to clear the two available tables away from the door. Another 5 minutes passed and we were again directed to be seated in the same table by the door. This time we politely clarified that we’d like to be seated away from the door. The person coordinating the front desk said there are people waiting for those tables. At this point there were two other guests waiting to be seated that arrived after us. Both of them were Asian heritage. They proceeded to seat them, and we bowed out of the vowing never to return. I called back to voice my displeasure, and they could care less. I told him it’s unfortunate that the impression I received was that we waited for 10 minutes with no one behind us, and then prioritized seating arrangements based on what we perceived as bias. Shameful. Furthermore, they tried to explain that one table was a table for 3 or 4 and the other table was for 2. They were the same size, and had the same amount of seats. I can’t comment on the food, and I hear great things about the food. It’s just too bad that their outright bias shamed their business.

Thai Dishes (Valencia)
23328 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
Ive literally never reviewed a place before but well yeah. I used to love this place, and have recommended it to a lot of people who liked it as well until recently. I hadn't ordered in awhile but today my husband and I ordered takeout/delivery, and to my dismay I realized why so many of our friends have stopped ordering here. They have literally cut their portions in half, including not putting entire ingredients in their recipes that normally are there. I understand inflation, but for their already expensive prices when you receive less than half the portion that you are normally served but charged $20+ for that dish. Beyond ridiculous, and the flavor was all but missing. On top of all of this, 2/4 of the items we ordered were missing entirely. Extremely disappointed, the best thai place in scv is going down the drain. I was even thinking of ordering a different thai place but I literally said, this is thai valencia what could go wrong. Wish I wouldn't have ordered here and wont be again. Sad sad sad, thank you for turning me into a Karen thai valencia.

Panda Express
24201 Valencia Blvd #122, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
It was yesterday and I don't know what was her name but the service was the worst of worst. She was very rude and chill-faced attitude to me and when I tried to grab the bowl one and she didn't really give the enough amount of the meal. Panda express has awesome flavors as always but I was totally disgraced with the attitude in this mall. Never to go for.

Jasmine Thai Valencia
23360 Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
Very delicious take out we ordered from this restaurant. The food was very well packaged and tasted fresh we got the pad Thai, Tom yum, panang curry, and crab fried rice. All dishes were very delicious, however the 2 dishes we got shrimp, the shrimp was a bit rubbery. We will definitely eat again but perhaps do a different protein to avoid that small issue. They also have good price and we love supporting local businesses!I noticed a few harsh and negative reviews, I would recommend taking those with a grain of salt, as those reviews consistently involve individuals who ordering their non-Thai dishes. While this restaurant offers the option to order other Asian cuisines like Chinese food and Vietnamese food, I certainly would not grade a Thai restaurant based on their performance on Vietnamese or Chinese food, if you want that cuisine just drive down the block for that specialty!

Chic n Time

Listen up my gorgeous glamazons! This queen has some piping hot tea to spill about a casual little eatery called Chic n Time that is going to completely gag you with how fabulous it is.I sashayed in there just expecting a basic little counter situation to grab a quick bite, but they read me for filth with the quality of their food offerings. Who knew this unassuming spot was hiding such fierce culinary talents, am I right? We started with these peppercorn chicken wings that instantly vogued their way into my heart. That crispy exterior was construction realness, while the inside was dripping in juicy, well-seasoned flavor with just the right amount of peppery zing. These wings have all the fancy places shook, trust. Then came the popcorn chicken which was practically a religious experience, ladies. Each delicate little morsel was swaddled in the most delicate yet crunchy shell that opened up to tender, savory chicken goodness inside. I literally could not stop devouring them - they were that divalicious! To help extinguish the fire, we gulped down one of their signature bubble teas and it was absolutely everythiiiiing. The creaminess and refreshing notes were living in such harmonious unity without being too sweet and desperate for attention. The balance? Perfection!Even though Chic n Time is giving very casual vibes with the counter setup, the food quality is truly top tier and ready for the runway. Theyre elevating grab-and-go to a whole other level up in there. And can we take a moment for the vibe? I live for these laidback, fuss-free hangouts where you can just strut in and get what you need without the pageantry and drama. Its ideal for when those snack attack cravings hit hard.Long story short, the food had me so gagged that a re-wife is already on the calendar to keep exploring their delectable Asian-inspired snack and drink selections. If you want casual but utterly fierce eats, Chic n Time is a definite must-visit! Mama has spoken, so you better listen!

Bernal Cutlery
766 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States
The rudest customer service I've ever experienced. And from the owner no less.I called the store to ask a few questions about a Japanese knife I was interested in buying. Isaid to the woman who answered that I'd like to speak to someone who knows a lot about that particular knife since I have quite a few questions. She barked, “What's your question?” I repeated that I have a few questions that I'd like to ask someone who knows the knife well. She asked snarkily, “What makes you think I don't know a lot about this knife?” I explained that I don't presume to know whether she knows much about the knife, and if she does, then I'm fine talking to her. She smirked and said she was offended. Then she told me she's the store owner and that what I said was very rude. She has a real chip on her shoulder. I feel sorry for the people who have to work with her - a snowflake who looks for offense and finds it everywhere.I ended up buying the knife for much cheaper from a very respected Canadian store - Knifewear. The Knifewear people I spoke to were wonderful. They answered all my questions and were extremely friendly and professional, unlike Bernal Cutlery.*I just saw the response from this woman. Not only is she nasty and rude, she's a paranoid liar. Our conversation was nothing like she describes. She describes the conversation as though I was out to get her. I don't know her, don't know her shop (just googled the knife and this store was one that came up). It's ludicrous to say that I didn't believe she was the owner. Why wouldn't I?? She didn't tell me she was the owner until the end of the conversation, after she had nastily demanded that I tell her what my question was. I certainly wasn't “mad” that she wildly over-reacted and told me to shop elsewhere - by then, I had no intention of buying anything from her. She's a vindictive, entitled woman who should get a life.
