Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle
4288 Dublin Blvd #101-102, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
No. 4 Szechuan Hot and Spicy Soup emerged from the kitchen bubbling hot in stone pot — served with rice noodles and nearly a dozen accompaniments (including braised beef brisket) to be dropped in before eating. While novel in appeal, the broth itself lacked the quintessential numbing sensation.Popcorn Chicken appetizer, a more bite size version of McDonald's chicken nuggets — lacking the consistency of actual meat, served with a Thousand Island dipping sauce.

I stumbled this place while going to the outlets near by. I was going to go to the other hotpot place but it was all you can eat. Zhangliang Malatang offers a vibrant and customizable hot pot experience. I like how you pay by weight, I dont eat much so it was well worth it for me.The ambiance is casual yet lively, with modern decor that hints at traditional Chinese culture. You are allowed to pick between fresh ingredients, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, which are then cooked in a rich, flavorful broth tailored to your spice preference. The service is efficient and friendly, they were really nice and patiently explained everything to me. Overall, Zhangliang Malatang delivers a fun, flavorful, and high-quality meal that is perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners with friends.
Mandarin Delight Dublin

After a morning of cherry picking, we were ready to fill our bellies with something good. However, the choices close to Brentwood on our way home were few and far between. We searched for something that seemed good and this place kept popping up. After a short discussion, and with nothing else to go on except the few reviews we found, we decided this would be worth the risk. After a short call to verify they would be open for lunch, we made our way. When we got there, we found them in a nondescript corner of there mall. Did we doubt our decision? Well, read on!We entered the place just about 1130h, their opening time. The place was empty, but we were welcomed with big smiles by the staff and promptly seated. We ordered their garlic noodles and the usual fare and were soon faced with a spread that smelled delish! We werent disappointed. I must say that the food was quite tasty, the portions hefty and the ambiance quite pleasant. Soon after we were seated and enjoying our meal, we realized that the place had filled. Apparently, we found that we made a good choice because people were in and out ordering food to go and some, like us, sitting to enjoy their meal in house.I believe that a Chinese place where there is a line, is a sign of a good place to eat. Being the first customers of the day, had us worried a bit until the place awoke.Thats when we knew we hit the jackpot. We will surely be back soon. We only live up the hill from here and are always willing to drive to special places like this. Well be back. And will bring reinforcements. Thanks for the great service.
Torarenbou Sushi Bistro

Food here is surprisingly good! ❤️ ? ?I ordered a beef teriyaki lunch plate. Meanwhile, my husband ordered Deluxe Chirashi.Wait was not long. Our hot tea and water were served first, and they are in paper/plastic cups. Thought to myself, to not let this presume anything on how the food will be like. Then, our main course arrived and mine is in a paper plate still but my husbands is in usual chirashi plate. My food was just stacked like I was getting food from a childrens party in a paper plate. Where you cram all food into a small plate. But I didnt let my critique be based on that, so dig in I did. And to my surprise, the beef teriyaki is tender and flavorful. It is seasoned well, and you want to eat more of that beef. Then I eat some rice in between. Oh so great! The lunch plate includes choice of handroll and I had the Spicy Tuna roll. It is not as pleasing looking, but it is actually really good. Spiciness is not too much, so I taste the tuna really well. It is also fresh. On top of that it also has salad, soup and tempura mix that ca.e with the lunch plate. So overall the food is great. I gave it 5 stars.Food price is not too much. For 3 orders: my lunch plate, chirashi Deluxe and seaweed salad, all in all it is $51 including tax.Service is fast, efficient, and professional.I gave this 4 stars overall experience. Would have been 5 if not of presentatiob. Definitely a notable room for growth. Will try them again in the future! Want to eat that beed teriyaki again! ❤️
Yummy Hainan Chicken
7265 Regional St, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
Heard about this place a few times so decided to take wifey here. Got here around 5:20pm on a week night so it was still empty. Of course we had to order its signature Hainan chicken - we had it with a rice plate. My wife gave her stamp of approval on their Hainan chicken and that's saying a lot because that's the first one that she approved locally. The rice was pretty flavorful too. The side of sliced cucumber, quail egg and wood ear did not have much flavor, but that's okay. Oh, the rice plate did come with a bowl of soup, but it did not have much flavor and I sort of forgot about it. I especially love it when I had a spoonful of rice, some peanuts and a small piece of chicken with the spring onion sauce all in one bite. That was heavenly.Wifey strategized that we should have a rice plate and a noodle dish. Since this was the first time, we ordered their Special Laksa Fish Noodle Soup. The fish noodle was quite different and I was not used to eating that. Think I would have preferred ramen noodle instead, but maybe next time. The laksa broth had a lot of flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The shrimp were nice and plump. We also had two appetizers: pork intestines and beef brisket & tendon. Both were not bad, but not outstanding. Their portions were bigger than most places though.Would come back again for their Hainan chicken and maybe try some other items like their Chiu Chow marinated duck, fried chicken and fried calamari.
Fujiwara Ramen
4288 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
Came here for lunch by myself after a doctors appointment across the way. SO GLAD I did! The restaurant was about half full and I was seated immediately at the bar (their suggestion but also my preference). The atmosphere is pleasant, with spare decor and a Spotify playlist on a TV on the wall playing Jpop and anime music. It was kinda nifty to be able to look up and see the song name and artist in case I wanted to track down a song later. I was asked if Id like water (I did) and was then left alone with the menu until Id decided what I wanted and sat up a little. Instantly someone came to take my order, which was delivered within about 10 minutes. The menu is simple, with 5 ramen options and a list of add ons for extra, and a short list of appetizers, drinks, and dessert, plus a small bowl ramen which could easily be for kids or just someone not that peckish. I got the Kuro Tonkatsu, their take on black garlic ramen. The broth was delicate but flavorful (a neat trick for a garlic dish!), the noodles cooked perfectly, and the chashu actually melted in my mouth. I thought that was a metaphor!Aside from one brief check in to see if I was enjoying my meal, I was left in peace to properly focus on my ramen, which deserved every bit of my attention. My water was refilled practically without me noticing, and when I finished eating and hit the bathroom, my tray was cleared away and the bill waiting for me when I returned. Id be surprised if I spent more than 30 minutes! It was a really lovely experience, and I look forward to returning the next time Im in Dublin!

BurmaBurma
7294 San Ramon Rd, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
Came to Burma Burma after a fun day of shopping at the Outlets and generally, enjoyed some pretty good Burmese food, considering the area.We began with the obligatory tea leaf salad which was delivered pre-mixed. I mean, thats ok, but it also took away from the presentation which is one of the more enticing parts of this salad. Having said that, it had all the right ingredients and definitely satisfied the craving Ive had for this salad for a while now. For a second appetizer, we ordered the samosas which were of a good size and stuffed with thoroughly spiced potatoes, onions, and peas. They were freshly fried and delivered piping hot with sweet and sour chili sauce on the side. I really enjoyed this dish - recommended! For entrees, we went family style and ordered the pine nut fried brown rice and nan gyi dok as bases. The pine nut fried rice was delicious with the pine nuts and the brown rice both adding a unique nutty flavor! Recommended! The nan gyi dok was unfortunately not good which sucked because I love this dish. First, the dish was delivered pre-mixed which made all the crunchy bits (fried onions, fried wontons, yellow bean powder) soggy before delivery. Secondly, the curry was unexpectedly sweet which was kind of off-putting. There also just wasnt enough citrus to make the dish pop.For meat dishes, we went with the lamb kebat and the basil/dried chili swai. Both of these dishes, though flavorful, were also very heavy handed on salt. If we didnt have the fried rice, there definitely was no hope of eating them individually. Between the two, I like the swai more. The bursts of fresh thai basil were delicious! The lamb did have mint leaves, but they were definitely hidden by the rest of the ingredients which is unfortunately because lamb and mint are a wonderful pairing. All in all, dinner for 4 was filling and pretty tasty, easily a 3.5. I am rounding down for the service (or lack of). For the pine nut fried rice, we had originally ordered it with shrimp but it was delivered without it. Our waitress admitted that she forgot to put it in...which ok, I guess mistakes happen. While we wanted to send it back, we were also informed by the restaurant that they also wanted our table to be freed sooner rather than later because they had a big party coming. As a customer, it just felt rushed and like we werent a priority.
Khyber Pass Kabob
7479 Village Pkwy, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
Late one Friday night we were redirected us to Khyber Pass. Our original intention was to head down to Fremont to an Afghani restaurant known for good food and terrible service. But Khyber Pass was such a breath of fresh air, and beat the rest of the well known Afghani restaurants hands down in every category.Service - Gotta start here because the service was so good we were almost laughing. We had been used to other Afghani restaurants waitresses avoiding eye contact and forcing you to have to run them down just to get your order taken. Tonight at Khyber Pass we had three different people ask if our order was taken (just to be sure), bread brought promptly, and water glasses constantly refilled. Our waitress Katrina (blond hair) after hearing it was out first time at KB gave us numerous thoughtful suggestions. When we mentioned how much we enjoyed her suggested appetizer of Mantu (Afghan styled dumplings, stuffed with ground beef, onions and spices, topped with yoghurt sauce and split peas) and that we were going to save some for our son, she ran back to the kitchen and brought us another order in a take-out box.... for free! Seriously?! Later after the restaurant closed at 9:30 numerous latecomers headed out obviously disappointed. We saw the manager run back out to the parking lot and invite them all in to eat. We stayed chatting with the owner Sultana and the wait staff until 11:00. Quite the family feeling which was a nice change of pace.Food - Excellent in every way. I ordered the Beef Tikka Kabob with tri -tip that was well marinated and perfectly charred. Many kebobs can be dry and tough but these were moist and tender with a flavorful seasoning. My wife ordered the Quabili Pallow with a lightly seasoned lamb just falling off the shank, and the blend of raisin and carrots adding just the right amount of sweetness to the browned basmati rice.Ambiance - Clean and nicely decorated with a raised group seating area in the back. KB is in an old strip mall, but parking is plentiful and the seating comfortable.Owner - Sultana and her husband and family (niece is the bubbly waitress with the big smile) keep this restaurant feeling family owned without being too cliquish. When Sultana heard that it was our first time, she pulled up a chair and said we had to try a dessert she just made called Firni (Afghan pudding with milk, rosewater, cardamom, slices of almonds, and pistachios). Note that this is AFTER we already paid our bill! She meven suggested some nice hot teas to go with the Firni and gestured over to Katrina to bring some our way. Though we were full the home made dessert and tea was a great way to finish off the meal. Dont expect to get free stuff like we did, but expect to be treated like royalty.Khyber Pass will now be one of our East bay go-to restaurants, and justly deserves all the Yelp 5-star ratings.
Amakara
7568 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568, United States
The atmosphere at Amakara is immmaculate with an upscale cocktail bar esque decor. Now when we first arrived we kind of had trouble finding parking because I guess its on the corner of the street and the only place you can actually park to eat is across the street at the shopping center. Which is okay. Not terrible but definitely not ease of access, especially for someone going there for their first time, if we werent sooo hungry, we probably would have just turned back around the way we came and gone to the other sushi place with a parking spot.Alas after quite a bit of a wait because of a shift change. When we finally got our food everything we was actually fantastic. We had dragon rolls caterpillar rolls, cold soba noodles, chashu ramen, chicken teriyaki, Calamari and chicken kaarage.I will say if youve been to certain sushi restaurants and you know what Im talking about, this is one of the establishments that does like to incorporate more cucumber into their rolls. So if its a texture kind of thing for you with your food, I would pay attention to that and let your server know beforehand that you would prefer the rolls without cucumber. With that being said. Everything we received was absolutely delicious. Chicken karaage was a standout because of how crispy it was fried. Now this may be too fried for other people but for me it was absolutely perfect. The perfect blend of tenderness, crispiness and juiciness to fill your mouth with joy.TLDR; needs a better obvious parking situation.Great atmosphereFantastic food..Eat at AmakaraItadakimasu!
