Whoever said Bamboo House food was not good must have been OUT OF THEIR MIND. This restaurants food IS EXCEPTIONAL! Their food IS TO DIE FOR!! Their portions are great, and the cost has gone up a little due to the pandemic, but that was expected. I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 yrs now, and theyre the BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN ESCONDIDO & NORTH COUNTY.MY RECOMMENDATIONS: WOR WONTON SOUP, HONEY BEEF, HOUSE NOODLES, EGG FOO YOUNG, SALT & PEPPER SHRIMP.

We ordered this today because our normal place was closed on Monday. I must say I am incredibly disappointed. The gyoza did not appear to be coked through the pork was a very light pink color (indicating not cooked all the way through). The fried rice probably had about 3 pieces of small egg in an entire half platter. And the rice was white, indicating that is mixed together after everything was cooked and not cooked with everything. The sweet and sour pork was soggy. All of the dipping sauces seemed watered down and were rather tasteless. Literally water added to them as they did not have the right consistency. We tried it, but we will never be back. Incredibly disappointed for the amount of money we were charged. Will not be back. The salt and pepper wings were plain, bland and nothing but crunch with very little actual meat in them. We normally get extra because everyone loves Chinese food in this house. Unfortunately, the extra we got this time, straight to the green can for trash day. 4 of 4 would not recommend.

Literally the best place for Pho, spring rolls, and orange chicken! Priscilla the owner takes such pride in her business and always makes you feel great when you’re there. Not to mention she always remembers me and my order even when I haven’t been there in months. Times are hard especially restaurant owners. If you’re ever in the mood for Pho or Chinese come here!

The one star is for the Asian face short haired lady in black shirt. I guess shes supervisor or manager. I asked for a kids meal, she told me only 4 shrimps would be given. I said it was ok but she kept convincing me getting normal combo. Ok, i get it. So I switched shrimp to veggie mix and asked her just add another entree shrimp. And again she kept saying its not worth it cos its only 7 shrimps would be given. Im not first time shopper dont need your suggestions, which actually annoyed me a lot cos her unclear speaking and poor communication skill. Just give me one kids meal and one walnut shrimp entree. Thats it! She still didnt follow and blah blah blah....until i asked her for just a kids meal no more shrimp. She was very unhappy and went in a corner nobody could see her to get the shrimps out from the box then came out to scooped the veggie mix. After i paid by my card, i found out i was overcharged 1.95 by one extra item which was spring roll. I never like nor ordered spring roll in my whole life here. I told cashier right away and she was confused too. She asked for the asian lady to come fix it, and the asian lady took my card away to her office for a while, then came back and told me she refunded me already. I asked her how? Where is receipt? She said i need trust her and no receipt for that. And she said its only 2 dollars anyway with a very disgusting fake smile! No apology at all. shes the worst manager Ive ever seen in Panda Express! I checked my bank no refund so far so I posted here. And i doubt if she did anything wrong on my credit card too as she kept it for quite a while in her secret spot! Dont let her serve you at any cost or you better watch out for the bill!Forgot to mention there was only one customer ahead of me, but both of us kept waiting for 10 mins cos no one came up to us at a not busy time. Bad management!

Portion size means at least two meals unless youre married to a starving man. I got chow mein (Id get again) and the fried rice (dry, Ill double up the chow mein next time), then coconut shrimp and beef with broccoli. Id get both those again.Husband had the pork with jalapenos and kung Pao chicken. The kung Pao was spicier than the jalapenos.Fast, reasonably priced and efficient. My parents were recommended here by a server at a local restaurant and theyre happy with the recommendation. Its their go-to for Chinese food takeout.Eating at the location, the seating area is sparse and practical, thats it.

This location is very convenient for late night dining on a Sunday when most things in Escondido close early on Sunday, so its great knowing that you can grab a bite at late night hours.I have not been to this particular Panda Express location since October of last year, and this past Sunday was the first since then.I was hoping that the service and quality of the food would have been improved, however I am disappointed to say the food and service was worst than before.The rice was very soggy and sticking together like glue, so the freshness is highly in question and the chowmein was void of any flavor. And the spring rolls were very soggy as well, they tasted as if they had been sitting out for hours. The only fresh item with my meal was the pre-packed fortune cookie.In regards to service, I walked into the restaurant and waited more than 5 minutes to be greeted by a cashier as there 3 people standing around chit-chatting, sure no one else was in line but the level of attentiveness and lack of focus on potential customers was very poor.I caution management to remind the associates the importance of keeping freshly stocked items out and remind the associates that 45 minutes until closing does not mean that you are closed for the night.

I ordered 5 dishes online and it was ready when I arrived. Green pepper beef chow mein, just spicy enough for my kids to eat-we chose the jalapeño one. Sweet & sour chicken was good not too sweet like other places. Fried rice was tasty and not oily at all. Chili oil boiled dumplings are delicious, soft and flavorful! And lastly, the Dan Dan noodles were the spiciest but the good thing is you get the sauce on the side to add as much as you want. Definitely will go back for more!Also wanted to add the portions are big 2-3 servings per item.

The man who was taking my order was so incredibly rude (his name was Patrick). There was a line of people in front of me ordering their food when the man called me up to order in front of them. The people in line began to yell at me, stating I was in their way/cutting. To avoid further getting yelled at, I took a step back to where I was no longer in their way. The man who was taking my order proceeded to yell at me and talk to me as if I were slow, saying When I tell you to come in the line, you come in the line. So now not only was this rude man, making me feel like a couldnt comprehend simple instructions as if I was stupid, was yelling at me, but the rude customers as well. I was on the verge of an anxiety attack the whole time when ordering and began crying once I got my food. This is the worst experience Ive ever had ANY where ordering food; the only polite person I encountered was the cashier (her name was Tara) . Honestly the most unprofessional place Ive been too. Not to mention the fact that I had to wait for them to make more of what of I ordered because they ran out for a good 10 minutes. // update: My friend and I went back to get a refill and the rude man that served me before was getting our drinks and called my friend sir... shes a girl.

The food is made to order . so it’s very fresh and tasty.It’s the Best Beijing beef I ever had and they give you a lot of food. I’m able to make two or three meals out of it. Which is awesome. Best Chinese restaurant in Escondido California. And the ladies that work there are very nice too. We will definitely be back again.
